There is so much negativism associated with Islam and all Muslims get tarred with the same brush. They frighten us. Their dress is alien to us. ISIL and other groups do unspeakable things in the name of their religion. Their religion is too demanding. Christianity and other religions can adjust to scientific facts. We KNOW the world is round and there are other worlds, so far unpopulated, out there. Islam seems to demand adherence to its core beliefs written centuries ago and makes no concessions to emerging facts. Religion is the main influence in the life of Muslims and their Imams seem to have a lot to do with governance and education, instead of the separation of church and state to which we are used. If you come to Canada to live, then adjust to our values or leave, please. This doesn't mean that you have to stop attending a mosque but please discontinue the scary body coverings and start treating your women as equals, not chattels. Even some women will argue with that last bit, but why does a woman have to cover up and a man does not? This is NOT equality.

islam is love, peace, respect, guidance of living, and honor. people don't know nothing about Islam and Muslims, except what the government put on the media.

Don't want fear? Go back to the Middle East. We know what's in the Quran. Hate of non Muslims. Demanding cultural change & dropping kids while receiving government assistance. Blacks arent the problem in canada as much as it is in the US. There was no KKK here. The people that do deserve the knowledge is the Aboriginals. The government treated them bad and so did the churches. They are what the Canadian government should be addressing and not so much the blacks as they are just as equal as a white man in Canada now. Jobs for the government 1 year have to hire more minorities then another year females and what not. I cant speak for what it is like in the US but where I live blacks are treated the same as whites. There are some arabs that think they are the gangsters and hate white peopl for ni reason. I asked them why they hates whites so much and they said its because they are pussys. That aint no damn reason. If you disagree please enlighten me with your knowledge. And if you live in the US dont comment saying you know more because i doubt you were even taught a single thing about canada in school. But if you do know something please teach me.

Im muslim and i dont know whats he deal with the niqab, just eove the niqab, this is 21st century, you can't walk into a supermarket, mall, airport or any other locations with the niqab, it's lile your hoding your identity. If you disagree with theae laws , then go back to your own great 'Islamic ' countries....Canada gives you a better quality of life and you beat the hand that feeds you . Sometimes we complicate things that we don't need to.\nIm okay with Canadian government banning the niqab and it's necessary for safety, you have to have an open minded muslim to understand this

I am a Muslim and what these people doing is WRONG , from where they learned this??? In an Islamic country you have no right to do this : first you d'ont represent the government,secondly this way you make people have wrong ideas about your religion , not even close to an advice !!! Please stop doing these shamefull acts and learn how to be an example for those who d'ont know you. If it is very dificult for you to live there : go elsewhere may be another country where you may feel better . Islam is innocent from these ways of behaviour . Live in peace with all the world is Islam and frightening people will get you nowhere but to troubles.
