My family and I came to the United States back in the 70’s because our country became a communist country . We were granted asylum and a long expensive journey began for my family to become US citizens and proud of it !! It is mind boggling to say the least to see these people at the border like this ?? you just can’t go and barge into another country without the proper documentation/ permissions to enter . I don’t know if this is full blown ignorance or where society as a whole is where there is NO respect for authority anymore .where are the lefties at when you need them to see something , but even if joe and them saw this they would still look you in the face and tell you nothings going on ??? unbelievable

WE need to keep these people out. I'm in NJ and seeing this mob storm our country IS NOT ACCEPTABLE. We don't need a wall, we need an army or armed personel to keep them out - they attempt to enter at the peril of being shot out. They travel many days because they know they can just run in. As far as the 'I can't live in my country, the cartels will kill me', you need to go back home and learn a better way to deal with the cartels than running from them. Clearly going to another country is NOT the resolution. Point for USA. \n6 Health care. USA is too expensive. Point for Canada. \n7 Work-Life Balance. 40 hours a week is the standard work schedule for both countries. You are not obligated to work more than that in the US. It's a tie. \n8 Parental Leave. It depends if you ask to workers or entrepreneurs. I prefer the point of view of entrepreneurs because they create wealth and jobs. Point for USA. \n9 Education Cost. USA is too expensive. Point for Canada. \n10 Summary: USA is the winner.

I'm born and raised in the US (my Family lineage has been here for centuries??) and I went to University in Canada. There are things that I like and dislike about both.\n\nThere are more Canadians coming to the US than in reverse. Politically I'm non Partisan. So I really don't need to say much on that, from both Countries. I think the US doesn't pay a lot of attention to Canada. I feel Canada wants the US to give it, its respect.\n\nLong story short, if I was rich, I wouldn't want to live in either Country.?

USA is way better than Canada. \nCanada is a third world country pretending it is developed. \nCanada you can make 20$/hr and pay 1 million dollars for a 50 year old home.\nIn the USA so long as you work hard you can be successful\nA major difference is that Americans respect human rights and democracy. Good video. Canada is the way it is because of the Liberal government. Pierre Trudeau who had good intentions to give everyone the freedom to act without respect has consequences. The 2nd biggest country in the world and you have no houses built! I moved to the Netherlands from Canada. Here 80% of the people have never paid a penny on their mortgages, only the interest, this enables people to have a home. Obviously, a socialist country pays the prices, and taxes are high, but they do not have mentally homeless people on the streets.

I'm tired of people immigrating here and complaining about how it is. A lot of Canada's problems have been caused by the influx of immigrants moving here over the last 20 years. A literal shock to the Canadian system in EVERY way. Toronto is now 50% 1st Generation Canadians. A 2020 report showed out of 35 million Canadians, 8 million were immigrants... but yet people immigrate here, then have the audacity to complain. Like seriously, why move here then?... AND CALL US RACIST?! Like we didn't just let you move here? Like we're not a Country that's been built on Multiculturalism and Respect. Like we don't hold the highest immigration rate in the world. Like we don't have laws that protect people from it. How does your home country treat minority groups? How does it protect them?

However, I found it very risky continuing to live in Ontario / Canada, and couldn’t continue doing any business where there is no fair legal protection and do not respect the basic human rights of ethnic minorities.\n\nThere are too many fraudulent organizations, individuals, legal professionals, and public servants with authority. People with fiduciary duty openly lie, abuse their authority, commonly downplay the significance of their criminal acts, and together they seem to be trying to maintain their status quo biases.\n\nI have emigrated from Canada a year ago to protect my health and life, but am still concerned about the safety of my good friends who live in Ontario/Canada because of the corrupt legal system there. \n\nSpecific examples of what I have experienced: \n\n[Employment Case] \n- Punished by ‘the system’ for pointing out the risk of clients' data manipulation by the upper management of a company; investigations by the Ministry of Labour were biased and incomplete; the legal proceedings by OLRB was interrupted and biased; they have suppressed/buried the evidences that I have provided; they did not share all case files with the applicant(me) but among all other parties until one minute before 5pm on the last day of the statute of limitation; the Vice Chair had interrupted the direct negotiation between the parties and closed the case by canceling the hearing; the Board’s lawyer told, 'sue the Ontario government if you have any issue'; \n\n[Civil Case/Lawyer Malpractice] \n- Ignored by the system when filed a complaint about the fraudulent practices (to LSO) and a fraudulent charge of over 10K without any itemized invoice (to the Superior Court of Justice [SCJ]) made by a contingency lawyer after failing to respond to the opposing party by deadline, failing to negotiate, and abandoning the client(me); the lawyer is apparently a son of board members / public servants of the province and the country, according to a paralegal who I met for the first time at the Fee Assessment Hearing “by chance” and claimed himself as my counsel to the Court clerks and telling them to send all documents to him (I’ve never asked nor retained him); LSO refused to investigate my reporting; the Commissioner had refused to accept a critical evidence, and refused to investigate without reason; the Fee Assessment Officer at SCJ was biased by giving privilege to the lawyer at the hearing, and interrupted the hearing without waiting my response; (the lawyer wrote an online article then about LSO and said “There are too many unacceptable practices that are being tolerated or ignored by the Law Society - from improper marketing to improper contingency retainer agreements. The regulatory penalties for such breaches are essentially non-existent, and these practices will continue until there are adequate enforcement measures in place.” He appeared to be talking about himself. He had threatened to pay the unreasonable fee over 10K for the unfinished contingency case, withdrew the amount anyway from my credit-card, and refused to provide the case files to me/client, while OLRB Vice Chair had ordered to cancel the hearing after interrupting the direct negotiation with the opposing party; they all refused to share the records of communications that had occurred without my knowlege/presence.)\n\n[Residential Tenancy/Public Health&Safety Case]\n- Punished by the system for requesting the property owner to eradicate health hazards (toxic mold, pests, and dusts) from my living space in a residential rental property; LTB proceedings was biased and unfair, interrupted multiple times when I spoke and suppressed the use of my evidences in the hearing (e.g., a letter from a medical doctor, warning the danger of continued exposure to toxic mold), downplayed the risks of exposure to asbestos/lead and the obvious contraventions of the laws [OHSA, RTA, and municipal Property Standards by-laws] by the property owner; LTB suggested the [former] Tenant to pay for the order reviews only to decline those reviews; LTB's selective omissions of evidences that are inconvenient to the other party/ the property owner; my basic human rights were clearly violated -- no response from LTB, Tribunals Ontario, nor Human Rights Tribunals; the property owner, municipal Property Standards office, and LTB have colluded, needlessly delayed the proceedings, and closed the case after 2.5 years without issuing any order against the property owner’s contraventions of the laws, while I had continued to suffer from the prolonged exposures to health hazards (I have paid the rent in full for over a decade without any delay, even during the Covid lockdown, out of my retirement savings [I was not eligible for the government financial support during the lockdown -- no income, but some retirement savings]). At least two of sixteen units in the building had their balconies literally falling apart; the walls have cracks and friable materials in the living space; my neighbors were afraid of falling through the cracks on the balconies from the upper floors — you never hear about these things in news because they are all colluded and do not issue any official orders.\n\n[Healthcare Issue]\n- I left Canada before Nov. 30, 2021, as I had serious reactions to the first Covid vaccine-shot (my immune system was compromised, affected by the continued exposures to health hazards in my apartment) but my physician had refused to diagnose them then — there was no proof of my adverse reactions to the first shot; later the physician had made lies and terminated the doctor-patient relationship; I was required to take the second-shot, or else… I have disposed / gave away of my belongings within two weeks and left the country to protect my health and life -- fled from Canada.\n\nReported to CBC, but they do not reply. \nPosted Gogle Reviews, but they are deleted.

I was born and raised on the east coast of Canada, lived in Vancouver and visited Montréal Edmonton, Calgary with the acception of Winnipeg I’ve seen every major city in Canada. \n\nI will always have pride for my country and love for my family there but it has changed dramatically since 2010.\n \nI will say the transportation in Canadian cities are better and so is the crime and the food but you have to drive a minimum of an hour to get anywhere outside the city, your not leaving that city without a car and good luck surviving without a car outside the city, and VIA rail is way overpriced. The GO train is nice though.\n\nLiving in America it has changed a lot since covid too though people are a lot more desperate and you can feel it but people are too prideful to admit, where in Canada people are struggling and they dress and look terrible and fail to dress nice because there is less prideful.\n\nCanadians are not nice people they are passive aggressive and will not got out of their way to help you most of the time (modern day) kind of like Californians.\nThe east coast Americans are rude and trashy but they will help you if you show respect. There just no fun to be around mostly ? overall North Americans are chauvinistic.\n\nJobs are harder to get in Canada and opportunity isn’t there, but it is very relaxed.\nAmerica is overcrowded and stressful especially for a Canadian.\nMontréal is cheap rent great food, and being personally bilingual I like the French, but there infrastructure is terrible and the people are depressed and disgustingly rude and they have no customer service.\n\nVancouver is overpriced in every way possible, beautiful city, great seafood but it’s not worth the price tag, you would be better of living in a San Francisco, the crime in Richmond and burnaby and new Westminster and hasting street is just as bad as San Francisco’s tenderloin.\n\nToronto is big and fun yet it doesn’t feel Canada at all, it feels like it’s been hijacked by American and foreign companies. It’s beautiful but lots of rats and bad traffic. People are relatively nicer there but it’s still expensive like New York.\nCalgary is very pretty probably my favorite, it’s just cold AF and kinda pricey. Probably perfect for families.\nEdmonton is flat and boring but I like it’s proximity to Calgary ?\nOverall it’s one of the best countries to live in the west but if you like fast paced, opportunity, diversity, traveling and are rich enough for elite education then come to America. Lastly Canada is a democracy so bills can be passed faster but that can also be a bad thing if you have a courrupt gov’t, cough cough trudeau.\nAmerica is a republic so it is harder to pass laws which can suck but it is also harder for people like uncle joe to overreach. Overall in America you are more free but in Canada you are more at peace. \n\nI’ve lived in America for six years and moved here at 20yrs so this is just my experience.

Sounds like you're a immigrant yourself, there is like no racism at all, it's more like if you're a immigrant or your someone of a different culture you associate people having a problem with how you're doing things as if it's to do with your race and not your culture. When you relocate to a new country you are supposed to adopt the new culture. A Canadian finds it insulting for immigrants to come to a country and not try to integrate and be part of it. It's ignorant to come to another country and not respect their way and how they do things. Whether you like it or not there is a Canadian way and you need to do it when you come here. You do not come here and act like you do in your country you came from it's not the same thing. You definitely don't come to Canada and preach that there's racism it's not in our vocabulary you need to get it through your head. Is there some racial jargon absolutely but you need to get used to it because it's a lot less than every other country. It is also impossible to get rid of if completely. As well stereotypes will be created because there are stereotypes with certain races that come to a country thinking they continue acting as they do in their country in the new country they move to. Stereotyping is not racism. You will have to need Ian's that might not like certain races because they don't conduct yourselves properly in the country. It's stereotypical and it's expected and should be expected if people coming to a country not respecting that country's values. Nobody wants people going to their country acting like they do in the country they came from. And if the Immigrant can't get used to how things work here than they don't belong in the country they need to go to the country that is a home for them. Canada isn't the Wonderland of all Races where everybody gets to still act like they're in their birth country in Canada when it's not.

I’ve been living in Canada for 5 years now and I can surely say that Canada is loosing it’s beauty. It’s high time government filters the immigrants it’s taking in the country and it needs to focus more on quality rather than quantity ?\nI love Canada and I feel bad seeing it shaping itself in an ugly way. \nI came from India 5 years ago and I can say this was the best decision but at the same time I feel Canada needs to implement this things to new immigrants coming in:\n\n1) Blend in the local culture and enjoy it the way it is and not try to bring the same chaos and stupidity from back home country.\n\n2) More stricter laws against violators (rowdy immigrants)\n\n3) Once they land they should be given an etiquette lesson and good briefing about Canada whichever airport they are on.\n\n\n4) Better speak English at all times so that everyone can understand everything with clarity.\n(P.S: please don’t consider this racist as Canada has people from all round the world)\n\n5) Cultural festivals need to be celebrated in own space keeping in mind the privacy of others and be courteous to others making sure they’re not bothered.\n\n\n6) Not trying to force others to believe your way or follow certain religion etc and be respectful of others. \n\n\n7) Stop complaining and ranting about things they can’t control and not pollute the environment by being careless. \n\n\nI see a lot of my fellow people making mess of things his beautiful country and hence i hope Canada implements the above points so we can have a better and happy society. \n\nCanada is a land of opportunities and yes it has got some flaws in the system but that’s not what we can control. There is a massive housing shortage, healthcare system is in shambles and how does the government plan to alleviate this crisis before bringing in more people?? Who will stop this unfettered invasion by cultures that have no respect for our norms, mores, & way of life?! I live in a city neighbourhood that is immigrant central & can say confidently from immediate & personal experience that the majority here are not fleeing anything, popping from country to country to grab money & send it back home then, when they have enough, they retire back to their homeland. Most have no respect for private property nor for any of the norms of a polite society, they don't even wish to learn our language sufficiently to understand & respond. Most of my life I supported immigration but not this way, not with zero oversight. All political parties support it for the sake of getting more votes but the Liberals are the worst.

I am planning to leave Canada in 4 years. I don't feel respected by the country. We are overpaying for health care like you mentioned. A lot of laws and rules are non-sense. Our justice system is corrupt. I really think Quebec and Alberta should separate from Canada. This country has been falling apart since the Liberal party got elected.

He’s in another country, different law, different habits, different mentality. Why other cultures come to Europe or USA always demanding to respect their culture? It should be the other way around. He can wear his ritual knife but hide it because in our culture it’s dangerous object and most people are ignorant toward religions. I know that the actions seen out here in the video is kind of an extrem, but I believe whatever measures were taken it was for the welfare of keeping everybody safe in which my Sikh brother had no bad intentions but it was all an honest mistake.  According to my understanding he could've worn the Kripan under his T-shirt.. no disrespect to nobody but I'm here with all my Love and Respect to all.. \nAnd He being out of India.. people might have heard or know about Sikhism but respectively being in a totally different country it'll be a cultural shock to some of its fellow country's residents and that too he is in an educational environment or zone where a lot of unfortunate events had occur in the past few years due to violence.. so taking these reasons and unfortunate incidents under consideration.. our dear Sikh brother did not do anything wrong in openly carrying a Kripan (knife) for it is his cultural right and had gone some kind of a rituals in order to carry a Kripan for self-defense. But people will still feel some kind of uneasiness when it comes to weapons seen in and around educational area or zones. \nSo whatever measures had been taken for the safty of all.. especially by the security as he was doing his job by understanding the situation. No heard feeling to nobody but I just wanted to get my point across regarding this incident. N I know my Sikh brothers n sisters will definitely come to an agreement of understanding in what I'm trying to say..
