She is not wrong fully, I have met good sofesticated indians living in Canada and they say that people coming from mostly Punjab and Haryana have made a havoc in Canada. They are too loud, dirty and filthy. There is a big safety concers for Canadians and even Indian origin canadians in Canada. Even our people who have gone there to work legally say that they don't want any indian in Canada. I am living in Europe and I see the same thing. People from our country just don't have any civic sense, they are mostly very dirty and because of them, many people find it difficult to find a apartment. Before slamming that lady, we should think of ourselves and we should improve our nation first.

Really good video. But as a Canadian, I also want to mention foreign workers. Foreign workers have a lower minimum wage than Canadians. This makes it nearly impossible for young Canadians to find jobs, as companies which you would think would mostly hire teens (Fast food) just wait until a foreign worker steps up. Go to the US, you see a McDonald's with a bunch of teens in it, go to Canada, and that McDonald's has only foreign workers in it.

I spent years learning German, traveled throughout Germany, took courses in Germany to get up to between the B1/2 level, have a college degree, look German, German heritage… and was consistently treated like I didn’t belong and shouldn’t stay. With the skills and certifications I’ll have at the end of my graduate education, I will be able to make 2-3x as much in my home country as I could in Germany with fewer taxes and lower home prices. Why would anyone other than a low-skilled worker with few options ever want to move to Germany? The US, Canada, the UK, and even France are far better destinations for skilled workers, and yet the German bureaucracy still acts like every Italian and Turk has nothing better to do than learn German and work at a VW factory in Stuttgart.\n\nReally, Germany and the Germans just don’t get it, and at this point I doubt they ever will. A Ukrainian immigrant here. Absolutely in love with beautiful canadian nature, cute little houses, especially townhouses in toronto, just so wholesome. As for life, you gotta be some sort of specialist like a doctor, or a proper construction worker, or a truck driver to have a decent life that goes beyond just getting by and eking out an existence. On my own i can make enough money for food and rent, but thats about it, and im happy about it, really, i get to be alive thanks to canada, but i really hope i could move out of here as soon as it becomes safe, or just move to a cheaper country thats a decent distance away from russia. I ended up being unemployed and i do feel like im in quite a real danger on eventually becoming homeless if i dont manage to procure a job, and you know how the job market is now. As for health care, i simply dont have access to it, at least i dont have a family doctor and have been trying for a while to get one. I haven't tried walking ins yet since i prioritize food over health now but i might someday. I just hope that whatever sickness bugs me is minor, i cant do anything about it. My teeth hurt too, but i cant afford a dentist, and ive found one Clinique in toronto that helps immigrants fix their teeth for cheap, they can help you with three teeth in total, and i've used up one of it, and saving the rest for real emergencies. I cant eat anything except for real soft food, and i know im not gonna get any help i could afford any time soon.\nOnce i get a job i will be saving as much money as i can to leave Canada, i don't know where yet but i'm doing my research and hopefully will find a place, and if not well, sucks to suck. I think most of this must apply in other parts of Canada, Ive lived in Ottawa for 10 yrs now and never met more rude people. They dont want to get to know you, they dont want you talking to them, they dont want to follow up on anything they say, over and over ive been told people would come over and they never do. even after making plans, they still no show you. Im From Texas, and ITs way more friendlier there.

I want to bring attention to the fact that when an Airline submits a Record of Employment (ROE) to Service Canada for flight crew. The hours the company puts for insurable hours is the hours per month based on the pay hours not the actual amount of hours worked. Pilots for example are usually paid based on 80 hours of flying per month, actual time in the air. However, we all know it takes a lot more work to get an airplane ready to fly. These are the Duty Hours, the actual hours worked. The Airlines do not use the Duty Hours for the Records of Employment. The rules regarding insurable hours does state that it is the actual real world hours worked or as close as possible to that number. Something needs to be done because it is not fare for a full time employee to then be given an ROE with just 80 hours of insurable hours per month when they actually could work way more than that. Please someone investigate and report on this.

In Canada, there is not enough housing and jobs are scarce, especially for anyone at the entry level or basic wage. We've been absolutely swamped. This is not the fault of the immigrants or the students, it's the fault of our extremely stupid and short sighted government. Most of those immigrants I encounter are good people, polite and considerate. But some, well I understand where the complaints about rude and inconsiderate behaviour come from, because it only takes a few bad experiences to get people angry. I've experienced it myself, but most of it (from my experience) seems to be from students who are very loud and impolite on public transit. The housing situation here is INSANE, prices are sky high and very little to choose from. A lot of seniors now can only afford to rent a room (after having worked all their lives and very little to show for it), and prices are up about 50% from only 5 years ago. The government says inflation is a fraction of what it is in real life, and living expenses have exploded. As I understand it, some people made a lot of money offering services to bring students and low wage workers in, with no consideration to the damage they were doing to all of us who were born and raised here - they wanted to make their million dollars. Another problem is that once someone arrives here, what they find is NOT what they were led to believe. What students and immigrants are told they need to live here is an absolute lie, living here in Canada has become very expensive. Many workers are severely under paid, and never even see the legal minimum wage, and the problem with that is, almost no Canadian will be hired on to those jobs - the reasons are that imported foreign workers will work below minimum wage because they are trapped here, and the Canadians already know that they will only struggle if they take jobs that pay so poorly. So yes, a lot of Canadians are VERY angry, and you really can't blame them. Once again, the Canadian government is responsible for much of this, and crooked employers who are willing to take advantage of low wage labour. It's an absolute mess.

Trudeau says we need more people in health care, but we aren't bringing in the right people to fill those gaps. We are bringing in uneducated people to fill fast food jobs. That's not going to make Canada a strong economically stable country. Instead of pandering to the businesses that want to stay open 7 days a week and need these low level employees, it would be preferable to return to a system where everything isn't open 24/7 requiring all of these low level positions ti be filled.

I am jatt. Sikh goes to Canada, supported by organizations who want their population to swell for political and religious reasons. More unemployed and low educated Sikh population will be good support for the causes mentioned before. No one can stop them. Not even Canadian government for obvious reasons.

One can argue that mass immigration from Europe change aboriginal local culture in Canada and now it is changing again due to recent mass immigration so why is this a problem now? People complaining do not acknowledge that Canada created a corrupt system where educational institution made money from foreign students, foreign student in return were happy as long as they got to work (atleast they are willing to work) for money but the moment money is taken away, they feel cheated. These foreign student are not entitle to a PR card when they knowing came to Canada as a students. In fact, we should look at the root cause of these problems. It is the colleges making money off these immigrants, it is the corporate who do not want to pay decent living wages to Canadians so they are hiring these immigrants at a minimum wages jobs. This is called capitalism where the corporate has to save as much money as possible for their share holders. So yes immigration is a huge problems but immigrant alone are not at fault. Fault lies with the government (federal, provincial and municipal) and the corporate entities in Canada as well.

I do support limiting the amount of these students who can stay in Canada, but at the same time I really feel bad for a lot of these students who were sold a lie from the Liberal government. Most of them from India and just wanting to create a better life for themselves, many of them given these false promises by these Canadian schools who sold desperate people on these worthless courses or programs where the market is brutally over saturated. I completely understand these students feeling like they have been exploited by our garbage and extremely unethical Government and College and University system.

I'll add some context to our government. Prime minister harper who was an economics major I believe started saying no to the aboriginal peoples stopped catering to them. During the election it was a collective that all natives would vote ndp and the liberals were second last only behind the green party. Getting closer to the election Trudeau promised if elected to legalize marijuana and fund more efforts towards missing indigenous women ( that's a whole other story in itself). Trudeau won a majority government. They won't admit it but alot of blue collar people voted for Trudeau because of the legalization of weed. Fast forward immigration grew and new immigrants were strategically placed in certain cities and areas to vote for the liberals. The next election Trudeau lost the popular vote but won based on Canada's version of the electoral college. This time around I don't think he can win I've heard very very few people in this country say they want him so in a year things may get better or the damage is done.

However, I can guarantee you that this is false. Many people want to live in Canada, and as French citizens, many of us want to move to Canada. But obviously, as a French and white person, I doubt they let us in as easily as they do Black Africans, Syrians, or Palestinians. I really feel that if you’re African or Muslim, doors are open to you everywhere in the world, especially in North America. But if you’re white, well, they put obstacles in your way to prevent you from coming. I really feel that, and I see it every day, in fact.

Because mexico is less than 20% white. At this point with all the immigrants canada gives citizenship too, mexico is probably more white than canada at this point or will be in the near future. But y'all don't see as that, like i said y'all still think canada is a majority white nation when it's not, and mexico is a amarindiean majority nation when with all the immigrants canada has now, sorry, new Canadians mexico is probably just as white or even more so than canada. Have you ever stopped to think about why people like your wife and her family left home to come to Canada? Yes, they escaped from fundamentalism and the challenges it created in their country. When they arrive here, they suddenly become intellectuals and want to make Canada like back home! I have a lot of respect for those who have made the decision to leave. I hope others, instead of complaining and comparing Canada to their home country, consider getting on a plane and leaving.
