(Do research ? make sure it’s a legal company), UNDERSTAND YOUR CONTRACT before you choose to travel. Please this is very important. You can seek deep information about what you are going to do, information is everywhere guys. SEEK information. Many people just want to go ‘majuu’ but they don’t seek information yawa??‍♀️\n5: Lower your expectations (you can’t just blossom in two months). Usikuje na idea at ohhh I will be investing home blah blah! I can confirm that there's really nothing in Canada. They have no jobs and the Jobs they give to Black Immigrants in particular, whether you have a degree or not, are generally seasonal summer jobs in warehouses, working with plastic injection molding machines. When winter arrives, you get laid of until the next summer and the cycle continues. It was the first place l learnt that racially motivated official murder of Black People by White Police Officers is standard practice in the United States, because it's also a practice in Canada but not as rampant as it is in the United States. \n\nI just don't know who is spreading this false and deceptive information or understand why we're being bombarded worldwide with ads about Canada wanting immigrants to come over for jobs. China and Japan have more and better jobs than Canada. Even Germany in Europe has more jobs as well. You can't pay me enough to ever live in the west, ever again. From Europe all the way to North America because of the level of racism compared with other continents of the world

I’m a Toronto born proud Canadian. And I DON’T agree with the immigration system. It’s stupid. Outright. Yes my parents are immigrants and I’m LUCKY to have been born here but it’s just a matter of no space and jobs suitable for the unaffordable housing crisis. It’s just a matter of people and space… That’s it. We aren’t animals that can comfortably live on farm land. We have massive condos here that are vacant because no one, especially not a millennial can afford it. Whatsoever. \n\nBut sure, I’ll probably be insensitive for saying that because it’s “racist”. When I really never cared to begin with. I love different cultures. I do. If anyone can vouch, it’s me. I can. I’ve seen how racist and cruel this world can be and I NEVER had a problem with people of different races growing up. Due to all of the stress, I can totally see and understand the concerns.

At least from what I have seen in Ghana, people are starting businesses.\n\nI am going to say something I observed about Ghana. I found out that women, as usual, are more hard-working. I realised that the men don't have work because they are lazy or have too much pride. I have watched so many videos where so many business owners complain about the ineffectiveness and inefficiencies of the workers. They are not dedicated when they work for other people. I watched these business owners whose workers in the farms are mostly women, and they were very happy that women are easier to control and have good work ethics as opposed to men. The men prefer jobs where they don't use their energies such as Yahoo Yahoo boys, selling in shops where they don't touch anything or lift a finger.\n\nGrowing up, we knew that men were supposed to do the hard-working jobs in society. But these days, men like to idle around and touch nothing. The reasons being that the African culture teaches us that men are not supposed to do anything at home. They are supposed to be served by women. Then, instead of the men going out there to do the hard work and make the money, they wait around expecting cushy jobs that don't make them lift a finger.\n\nLook at China that you mentioned. These boys work absolutely hard. Even in the villages. Look at Muslim countries. You will never see women working on the streets. The men are even the ones who cook the food on the streets and sell. Check countries like Pakistan, Bangladesh, and Sri Lanka. In Africa, most things are done by women.\n\nAll this japa that people are fighting for. Have we ever thought of the agenda of these people needing free and cheap labour? I came to realise that we stupid Africans don't yet understand. Our children eventually become strangers, and we remain just surrogate parents. Most of our children are never going back to Africa, and when they get to an age, they become like strangers to us. Whatever we say, they look at us like archaic. What then makes them Africans anyway. We have seen so many of them who barely know their countries of origin and have never ever been there. They do not know their relations. In fifty years' time, that generation has lost their roots, and was that our intentions initially? This all dawned on me recently with my children, and I feel absolutely dejected because they are not interested in our country. All my hard work is gone down the drain, and all that can happen is for us to leave our children behind and live like people who never had children in the first place. For now, most people see it like something to be proud of, and are happy to say ( my children live abroad). Africans are the most stupid people I know, and that is why we are always used for slave labour. Why are they all approving all these visas and allowing all these people to drown at sea? \n\nThese countries allow these fake visas deliberately because they drain African countries to enrich their own since they can't get the minerals easily these days.

I used to live in Toronto and I left for different reasons 2.5 years ago. It is not the same place that I remember it to be. I understand that places change but it’s changing far too fast for me. I used to like going out to various independent shops (especially bookstores) and because of the condo boom a lot of these places can not exist anymore. I also liked going to places where the ttc struggles to go to (further out of the city) but having a car and dealing with traffic has gotten way worse. My other thing is the people. Years ago people would talk about fun things and now all they talk about is money, real estate, and traffic short cuts. I agree with the crime and the housing issues that you mentioned. It’s ok to visit but I try to get out of there (otherwise I’ll be spending all my money on parking)

I just don’t understand why they littering? This makes so much sense and I understand why there are so many international students in canada. I knew a guy who would recruit people for work in Canada and he would get paid 2000 or so per person. It's like importing slaves and slave labour. I guess we all get exploited at some point.

Dude you’re about to have the shock of your life!! All the points you mentioned here pretty much are a copy paste in Canada, cherry on the top is crappy weather. If the points you mentioned in your video are actually your concerns then you either need to look for opportunities in the UK or USA. You’ll find yourself where you are currently in 2 years in Canada as well and then you’ll be making another video about moving to US or UK. I kind of understand this as I now personally know 3 people who’ve done the same journey i.e. move from Australia to Canada or vice versa. In any case good luck!

There's a little disgusting fact about Colorado, colorado. Their favorite thing is if you've been put into one of their jails or prisons. Upon your release date, they give you a bus ticket anywhere out of the state. That's the big reason for their we're down here in New Mexico. We get a lot of them dumped off. At our bus station and and to find out the general remarks out of the bunch is they were giving them strictly $35 in a bus ticket Anywhere out of the state.\nSo in New Mexico, we expect to see mostly Indian hispanics. Amongst the street people all of a sudden, we have a whole bunch of whites and blacks. That don't understand how rough the weather is around here.

The United States government needs to take care of the American people. I don't understand why we don't protect our borders more. It's okay to accept people into our country we have always done that but when people get together and storm the borders and we get criminals we get everything else included because you always get the good and the bad. This is a never ending perennial controversy. I really cannot understand why he bothered to come to Canada, if things are so good at home. Many people send their children over without having to leave Nigeria (for example, politicians) Some people don't do their research or count the costs before they make the leap, the just follow the bandwagon. Canada is good if you are wise. I I share my take on this whole topic on my channel where I talk about moving back to Nigeria and the truth no one told me. To each his own.

I lived in Nigeria for the 10 years prior to moving to Canada, and I also schooled and lived in the UK before that, so I speak with a wealth of diverse experiences. \n\nBefore you move to Canada or anywhere else for that matter, do the following:\n\n1. Research the country you’re moving to…what jobs are in demand, how that aligns with your qualifications…if you need to recertify or retrain in a different field. Many people move here thinking “oh I was a bank manager in Nigeria, so I’ll move here and become a bank manager”. It doesn’t work that way. The streets of Canada are littered with qualified medical doctors who drive Uber because they didn’t understand how difficult it would be to be certified to practice here.\n\n2. Find role models who are living the life you aspire to, or who have made similar moves and seek advice or guidance, and learn what they did right/wrong. Don’t just assume because your friend moved here, you can also move here and live the same life. You don’t share the same life experiences, history or have the same network.\n\n3. Before you immigrate physically, you have to immigrate mentally…be in the right mindset to live in a new country, understand their culture and learn to adapt. If you’re expecting to leave Nigeria and move to Canada to live a Nigerian lifestyle with “owambe” parties every weekend, or having 4 cars and 3 housemaids, then you’re still living in Nigeria mentally. Even Justin Trudeau does not drive 4 cars.\n\nI work in tech, so I knew that with God’s grace I’d find a way to succeed here. My wife worked in a Nigerian bank, and was able to transition to tech after we arrived here. Our combined annual income is roughly $500k, and we both work less than 40 hours a week, and I believe God will continue to bless us. I have easily 20 or 30 friends and colleagues who moved within a year or two of each other, and everyone is doing fine and working in tech jobs paying 6-figures. \n\nDon’t be discouraged by people’s failures and hardships. With the right planning and mindset, you can achieve your goals in any country. Reach out to people on LinkedIn, build a network and ask for advice (constructively)…many like us are more than willing to help.

You have to understand that the reason Canada brings in so many people is to suppress wages and deplete your savings on tuition, housing and food. It hurts both Canadians and newcomers while the large corporate employers, schools and real estate profit immensely. We really do have a rentier style economy where we don't produce many innovative products and instead the top 60 companies (financial services, real estate, telecom, energy, grocery) just extract rents.

The truth is that it is easier for younger folks to integrate than Older folks..reason I encourage younger people to immigrate, you have enough time and patience to understand the system and integrate properly and also at this age you have little or nothing to miss back home. I am forever grateful to Canada and God, I have achieved alot in just a short time. Also I believe the interviewer will have a different story as regards the financial aspect after he becomes qualified doctor in canada. I dont believe you are better off in Nigeria as a Doctor compare to Canada both financially, mentally and socially

I like the fact that the working time in CANADA is staggered and people know their daily working schedule. This is the reason why these countries are successful. If people in back home in Nigeria understand that the work place is not a mini bar things might be a lot better. I am happy he has integrated into the system despite the systemic discrimination.

I don't understand why the US doesn't deploy those non lethal DEWs (microwave).. The current situation in Nigeria and other similar countries is precarious. The economy is in turmoil, security is a major concern, and youth unemployment is high. When people migrate en masse, it's understandable. However, life abroad isn't all paradise; struggles continue!

Indian airlines should start taking a stricter approach towards such shameless entitled people who know nothing about etiquettes or being considerate towards the surroundings and people around them or even understand how our actions might be causing some discomfort to them. Why do South Americans don’t use this type of energy and take back the beautiful country from their weak president? I just don’t understand. In every country, the people stand and fight for it.
