My circle is lawyers, entrepreneurs, engineers and only 2 income professionals can get that. I'm originally from Canada but I've been living in the US for the past 15 years. I transited through the Vancouver airport recently and almost EVERYONE who worked there was of South Indian descent (won't generalize - but from the Indian subcontinent). It was an astounding thing to see. It's really changed since when I was younger. So interesting to see and such a contrast from Southern California. Although, if you go back 50 years, they probably said the same thing about Eastern European people.

Living, impediment of long very cold winter, 1970's Canada was still racist and Parliament had strong bill waiting to stop colored immigrants and keep country white...Then in 1975 the Bill was voted down. For the reason that old white generation was aging and demanding Pension and Health Care. Welfare Chest was showing bottom and had to be replenished by tax money. Young tax payers were needed. India, China and Black Carribian were overflowing with young workers...so they had swollow Colored immigrants. Country was the largest but most commercia cities are at border of America, because north is brutal cold. Canada could not build population. 30m (10% of USA.) And Economically behind CA$= 0.80USD. Let the Visa expire...and went back to my old country to Start my Consultancy office. Lived in upper middle class tier and retiring with comfortable cushion to survive . I live in the building above that bridge. For 5 years the drug addicts (not homeless) have lit fires 5-10 times per week usually in the summer. Have assaulted police and firefighters and used public parks as a dumping area for syringes and garbage. It makes me sick to see our emergency services squandered on these POS. As you can see the fire pit they have created directly besdie all of the flammable crap the police and firefighters have told us they are not able to remove the flammable items and mattresses - due to it being public property. When in reality this is all property they have stolen from our neighbourhood. It is sickening. Often my neighbours and I wake up having to call the fire department multiple times in the kiddie of tv night or AM and have to keep a constant eye on the Rosedale Valley Ravine to make sure these POS drug abusers don’t burn the entire wooded area down.

Here i will share with you a real and most resent experience i have encountered two weeks ago.\nThere was a well advertised job fair held at the Vancouver downtown campus of the community college. The job fair was organized by work BC\n Out of curiosity i went there. There was a massive line of students and immigrants ranging from the age of 20 + to 40 +\n\n I would think that most people in line were at the very least grads of VCC ( Vancouver Community College) which offers now diploma programs training and even 4 years bachelor and professional degrees. I spoke to several people while in line they were immigrants with Canadian MBA , some had engineering digress and yet were jobless. BY the time we made it to the job fair room ( it took us nearly 2 hours of waiting) and that is where shock started. There were literally 6-7 shitty unknown employers from tiny small businesses that were offering nearly minimum wage jobs. \nThere were no banking recruiters, no business companies, no engineering or social services, nor tech companies or health care reps ! This is clearly an ample proof of the politically constructed myth about a supposedly shortage of labour and high hiring needs of the companies !

I’m a little late to this video but have a lot to say. As a Canadian of Indian descent, I have always avoided Brampton. There is a stark difference between Indians from Brampton and those of us that are from other cities. This situation is out of control mainly due to JT but also colleges that have setup feeder international schools that cater just to Indian students. I’d imagine Chinese students have something similar to this as well, they’re just more quiet. \n\nA lot of the comments come off as offensive but it is what it is, There are too many of my ethnic people here and they’re not assimilating let alone intending to do so. Chain migration is another problem as it brings in an older generation that has no desire to learn English. Crime is having a runaway effect because of the environment they come from, fights break out at intersections, parking lots, backyards, front yards, etc. This is reckless and embarrassing for all Indians, especially us Punjabis. This goes unreported because of how vindictive these people are because of whichever town/city they came from. There are also rumours that these female students are home wreckers so there’s another layer. \n\nMy solution: \n1) Stop immigration, these people are giving our entire community a bad rep when we’ve worked so hard to get to where we are in this country. Return to skills based immigration, not WEF-based. \n2) Cap the international student populations tied to the census - this opens up opportunities for international students from ALL countries and walks of life. \n3) International students cannot be allowed to work - Canadian students First, Canada First. \n4) After graduation, give students 1 year to find a job in their field of study. If they can’t find one, send them back and learn skills and then that’s their only back to Canada. \n5) if they do make it to immigration, we need a better system than just a simple memorization test - have them demonstrate their command of the English language, look at their value added and potential for the future. \n6) Conservatives need to be a part of the solution. A lot of the comments are just complaints and complaining will get these folks voting red vs voting blue each and every time. That guy commenting about no temples in Timmins will just push these people to the liberals and this is what JT is counting on. We need to show these folks what being Canadian is about so that they leave Brampton and assimilate. I’ve introduced countless folks to Pierre and have changed their outlooks, y’all need to do the same. I grew up in Brampton and lived there for around 50 years, since 1970. Brampton went from being one of the best places to grow up to a crime filled craphole and like the one woman said I felt like a foreigner in my own town. In the 80s Brampton was a party town with a lot of good bars and you felt safe, shootings or any violent crime was unheard of, it all went downhill in the 2000s. The reason the white population are homeless drug addicts is because those of us who aren't moved out.

They used us, took our Cab driver jobs, etc, and now are fleeing, really nice people...NOT!. I worked with a Philippine and he sent money home every paycheck and was looking forward to leaving Canada in 10 years with Canadian money and he will enjoy the rest of their life in a huge mansion.\nIt must be nice to come here, work, and then flee. As a Canadian - it's not just investment by outside or inside companies investing. A correction to 6:00, Canada also doesn't hire or pay it's citizens reasonably by intention. We're the smartest middle class on Earth, making things like Canada Arm 2, and researching things used by everyone in the world, but we're paid less. If you were to be hired, it would take 6 weeks to 2 year for a DEI driven, lazy HR employee who has no expertise in your skillset to evaluate you. You're intentionally drawn out to be desperate enough (financially) to accept a role that doesn't pay well. By accepting the role, you're accepting the terms that you make less and you pay less in taxes, which contributes to the evaluation that you're paid less. Canada also sells it's core assets to 3rd party international corporate entities. So we 'produce' nothing because it's designed to be a cheap labour US alternative.

This is not an isolated incident. Brown guys in delivery jobs, especially students from South Asia, face this kind of humiliation in everyday life. Some of these rich white privileged people often forget that while they are paying for the service, they do not own the delivery people. There is a temporatory stop of foreigners buying home for 2 years. It use to be that a foreign student IE CHINESE)can buy home when they go to school here. They would graduate go back to their country and leave the house empty, leaving us Canadian with no home to buy or the prices are too high. The federal government accept immigrants and foreign students (more than 1 million in 2023 ) but not give the time nor finance for the provincial governments to built up the infrastructures to a accomdate them ie hospitals/doctors,schools houses…..very irresponsible of this government.
