Unfortunately some Indians does not integrate and observe the host country culture & customs. They carry on like they are in India, peeing, shitting, spitting, loudness and all their crazy ways which may be OK in their country but not in the host country.\nThey complain that India is corrupt and going downhill, but who are they expecting to fix it? Somebody else? They bring their problem in India wherever they immigrate to....?

i think for the most part indian people are hard workers and i deffinatly dont dislike them as a whole but when you bring to many of one race to a country thats supposed to be multi cultural and alot of them refuse to adapt to canadian culture its going to cause issues. Even indians that were born in canada have had enough of it. the infastructure, housing, healthcare ect can simply not support it.

Don't blame the people... and blame your government policy. Government should brings those people who can help shape a better country instead of those refugees. The problem that I have seen is that - We accepted far more refugees than the genuine individuals. We chased investors/skills people away and we pay for those refugees with no background check and they lived on our finance system. Canada should look after their citizen first before dumping money into warfare(F35), Ukraine (a war can't never be won)...more dialogue instead of sanctions, lower the taxes so we all can live and pay affordable taxes. Better health care system where one don't have to put on a waiting list for a family doctor, waiting 8 mos or 3 years for a specialist. The system now is broken and will take years to be fixed.

We know the countries these people come from stop importing from there, let’s bring in from European nations

I live in Canada over 14yrs, lot of things have changed over the time due to mass immigration esp bcoz of Indian community people bringing their same attitude here in Canada without trying to adapt here, nevertheless I will still prefer life here than going back to India saying this because I just returned from India staying there for a month and would say I prefer my life in Canada ?\nAlso, I noticed every few months or say a video comes up with the name of Canada which gets u a lot of views ?

As FRENCH, I think it is more an issue with policies set by both governments!!! You know you bring students IN and why don’t you build houses and encourage construction???? In France, many students (mainly Africa, and French departments like Guadeloupe, Tahiti or Martinique) come to study there (for free and we are proud of it!!!) BUT - unlike Canada - we do NOT have the same issues as Canada (our healthcare is NOT under pressure and our housing prices haven’t really increased that much as compared to Canada for example!!!) to me, the students are NOT to blame!!! It is the fault of the deciders (at different level) who have FAILED to set the right policies!!!! The schools are also to blame as some (not all) are so obsessed with making profits out of the higher international fees, which by way, subsidize Canadian students!!! So in Canada (not in France or Germany), the money that allows schools to function come from international students who BRING LOTS OF MONEY for the Canadian economy!!!! in France, it is different as the universities are FREE and are fully subsidized by the French government… but yes;) you have to speak French fluently to attend them!!! \nSo dear Canadians, do not blame foreign students thanks to whom your universities thrive and remain existant!!! Without them (namely the Indians too), the Canadian universities will struggle to find money and funding! Remember, the system in France is TOTALLY different!!!!

My daughter has good references and work ethic reviews can't get job because foreign worker got the jobs . Now I can't get coffee from a person who understands English. Stop bringing them here and giving our jobs away

Most Indians coming to Canada are uneducated and come from bad environments, and when they get the opportunity, they bring their entire families, which makes the situation worse. They engage in scams, only hire other Indians, and seem to be everywhere in Canada, often forcing their culture onto others. However, I’ve also encountered many educated and respectful Indians. Went through the pathway of studies-work-residency-citizenship\n\nLet me simplify the story for all of you guys here that lacks immigration intel. \n\n1) The quality of migrants you see here is not what Canada needs long term. It’s not a matter of ethnicity, but Canada needs to import talented and educated folks in medicine, engineering, trades etc. None of these individuals are interested in studying and are either attending 3rd grade colleges/universities to get a work permit and hoped to stay on. \n\n2) Shoddy sales tactics include lying or ‘avoiding stating the obvious’ that could make you lose the deal. This is exactly what the Canadian government did with these people. The Canadian dream was sold somewhat properly before 2017/2018 I would say. Post Covid there was a MASSIVE need of manpower in minimum wage jobs. The government could not afford increasing minimum wage at the time and international students would do exactly those jobs and bring in millions of dollars in tuition fees. The government opened the gates for these strip-mall colleges to take unprecedented numbers of students with allowances to work. These students were sold the exact same dream that a top quality University/college student is sold about Canada. They needed to be used at the time. And if they would’ve been told that their quality of students are only needed temporarily, they wouldn’t have come. The labour shortage at the time wouldn’t have been solved. So a CATCH 22 of the highest order. \n\n3) Canada CANNOT give in to such protests as it will set the worst example of migrant pandering for future generations. The best talent will refrain from entering Canada and more and more of these types of immigrants who do not want to assimilate to the Canadian culture will want to keep on coming.

I'm the son of an immigrant and I'm telling you that immigration has gotten out of control. Scrap the all TFW programs, forget just low wage jobs you have PGWP's being hired as financial representatives, insurance brokers, marketing managers, etc... at a host of businesses which are jobs there are TONS of qualified Canadians for or could be easily trained to do allowing them to gain valuable experience to improve their standard of living. No, instead this government focused on importing more foreigners and now we have a housing crisis, an unemployment rate of 7.1% in Ontario alone (4.5% is considered healthy and the government wants to keep bringing in more people into low wage jobs as long as it stays under 6% which is a complete joke). If you are born and/or raised Canadian and have been here since you were a kid you MUST stand against this, I assure you that this nonsense is robbing you of a better future all to appease corporate greed by suppressing wages and forcing employees to stay in careers/jobs forever out of fear they can't find any other work.

I don't know why you have to bring a lots of students when there's no work for Canadian in the first place, plus why you bring a lots of students just from one country.

Because most of them come with money they borrow knowing well they are not in for studies but for residences. But the government didnt know that and now they flooded the place and the students are now demanding for job and room to stay. Exactly, how can ppl come in for education and bring their entire family on board. It was all a red flag. And now they are getting big credit cards and when they leave, who will pay? Citizens. Canadian immigration system is very loose and they don't have mechanism to evaluate proper background before they bring anyone here.

My parents were immigrants, but they came here when there was a points system and immigration was based on merit and those that respected Canadian culture. Immigration is important but we should be bringing them in based on merit and can speak English fluently and have allegiance to the Canadian flag only and leave their home countries BS back at home.

This is what happens when you dont have variety of foreign workers and you dont consider the culture. If you bring a million from one rural part of a specific country, they will gang up and make demands and the Punjab are famous for this even in India. Just hearing about this unfortunate situation for Indians in some countries. I am German, based in Berlin. I love our turban wearing Sikh cycle couriers bringing food to the hungry. Recently saw a pedaling Indian girl, even. No probs whatsoever with these Indians here.They work, they study alonside, many are established in well paying IT jobs. Unlike some immigrant groups, Indians never create problems, do not depend on welfare, have decent manners and are smart in whatever occupation they choose. You are welcome to send us more of them! Our immigration laws are weak. Each and every immigrant must be vetted and must have something to offer in Canada. No more free rides for so called refugees.
