Indians undermind the efforts of Canadian businesses and work standards. For example, Indians running shipping cans out of Vancouver far cheaper than natural born Canadians. Canadian born population is busy in drugs , doing labour job. Parents never saved for their kids education so they are working in Stores earning minimum wages. As cities get costly, they go far and far to earn livelihood, selling their homes to immigrants who bring and earn good money and then complain that cities are filled with immigrants. And then they blame , that immigrants took our jobs.

This is a tough video to watch. It's even more difficult to read the comments. I moved here 4 years ago from California, and Germany is the fifth foreign country in which I have lived and worked. I am undecided about whether or not I would recommend coming here or not. I have just finished a PhD in a German university, and while I don't regret it, I would not repeat the experience. \n\nThe country is simply too behind and too naive (to a near childlike extent) in just about everything. Their vision far exceeds their competence, and they are an antithesis to efficiency and professional accountability. Culturally, I prefer Germany to any other country where I have lived. But professionally, I cannot see myself staying here. No matter how well-intentioned they are, they're not going to change for the better any time soon.

Don't understand the commentary here! If they are on a student visa, they cannot work. once you finish go home. If you wish to become a resident just apply and go through the process. Why protest? Student visa is only for studying, that means you don’t have work permits to apply for permanent residency as per you visa guidance, if Canadian have enough jobs only to get a job for work permits, if doesn’t need to go back, you didn’t pay any taxes for our country and wasted taxpayer money

Indians are coming here strictly to take advantage of us and what we built here. An Indian man I worked with last year told me to my face he was just here to sleep in his car, work 3 jobs and buy a home to rent at market rent and go back home. Just get to that PR status. More immigrants, with no skills no wonder when you go to hospitals the wait times is insane and poor nurses and doctors running around working with short staff because the government chose to award visa to those under qualified, no skill student visa/work permit rather than the skilled ones.

All indian students are getting married and bringing their spouse and parents to Canada. How it's possible? Also getting pregnant so when the baby is born they can be a Canadian citizen. When they come as a student How come they get the security job in Canada? When they come as a student they have to study and go back to their country. Because they say when they apply for student visa they show that they have money. So use the money and study & go back. Canadian immigration have to stop giving them the work permit. So the Canadian's can get the work.

They're not getting deported they're being told to go back home this is a temporary work visa so stop twisting words around okay these aren't poor innocent victims they failed in their classes and they ended up not getting jobs that they were supposed to be getting to get immigration in Canada we are being taken advantage of by people like this and people like yourself who choose to use words that make it look bad when in fact if we were in your country and try to pull this crap what do you think would happen

In 2004 I wrote a somewhat famous article called 'Top 8 reasons not to immigrate to Canada'. In short, the Canadian authorities tried to destroy my life. They made it so that I could not be employable in Canada. So I moved to the U.S. in 2005 and then some years later I moved permanently to the Philippines. I am happy that so many years later videos like yours are saying essentially the same things that I did. I was ahead of my time. I will never go back to Canada. Not to live, not to visit, not even a connecting flight. Too cold, too expensive, taxes are astronomical, no culture, no freedom, no jobs, no opportunities, only modern slavery, worst healthcare system, unbearable political correctness, crime infested/drug infested, xenophobic people, too depressing. well, if they were there for school, not sure how many completed it, or just went to work and whatever... If done or failed, go back, and apply properly, everyone sees worldwide how past few years of extremely lax immigration standards and enforcement is affecting ALL Western Liberal led governments, all suffering. Sorry, but EVERYone has to go through proper channels again, and there is a lot of financial and social damage done through the Trudeau Regime we're frikkin broke. I'm leaving BC and going to Saskatchewan in 2 or 3 weeks. More work and cost of living is much better..sad I have to leave due to work and money to live. But looking forward to my new adventure...no poor me I'm moving upward.

At the least, international students should not be allowed to work here. If they really came to study in Canada, thry better study and do not go to Food banks and collect free ration or work in Tim Hortons to make money. If they came to canada as students it means they hail from filthy-rich families otherwise how can they afford? If it is so, why do they have to work here? Local students are not getting jobs. I went to high school in Brampton Ontario, in the mid 80's and there were no Indian immigrants anywhere. After high school, I moved to Montreal to work as a fashion designer, (I have to mention the shock I experienced whenever I would fly into Toronto for business... when I went to get a taxi, there was always a massive line of Indian taxi drivers standing outside next to their taxis. I had the feeling that I was no longer in Canada, but somehow ended up in India?) Having lived in Montreal for 30 years, I recently moved to Guelph Ontario, to be closer to family and I was shocked to see how many Indians had moved there, (going to the dog park, I was informed by the people there, that Brampton was called Bramladesh and Guelph was turning into another Bramladesh.) There was a massive temple built in Guelph a few years ago and suddenly Guelph was invaded by Indian immigrants, with every house put up for sale bought by an Indian family, (the husband, his wife and their kids, the brother and his wife, their mother and father, all living in a 3 bedroom house with 3 cars in a 1 car driveway, (for some strange reason they all choose to dig up the black asphalt driveway and replace it with white concrete??) So yeah, the white people in Guelph are fleeing en mass, as it becomes impossible to sit in the back yard, or open a window, without choking on the powerful stench of spices coming from the Indians living next door... it's like being punched in the face from the horrific smell when you walk your dog and pass by one of their homes! That said, it feels like their goal is 'global domination' and with 2 billion people living in India today, it's just a matter of time before they all decide to leave the most over populated, the most polluted and the most corrupt country on the planet, and move to Canada!

Another Indian trick is Flagpoling which is coming to Canada on a Visitor Visa, going to the US Border, getting turned away since their visitor visa does not allow entry to the USA, and then coming back to Canada, and applying for a Work Permit at the CDN Port of Entry, hard to believe but that is completely legal, and has led to Indians taking a lot of jobs from CDN citizens

Dont cut immigration down.....tell me how did Indian intl student makes up about more than 80% out of all international students. Why didnt the government put a cap or a stop specifically just for Indian people? Why didnt the immigration look deep before giving student visa just like a snap of a finger and see if they can support themselve for school and living expense. \n\nI am an immigrant myself but when i decided to come to canada as a student. I made sure i had enough funds to sustain myself here in canada for 2 years until i can get my work permit then a head to PR. Nowdays I see a lot of international Students get access or abusing goverment facilities and benefits for which not entitle for them but Canadian residence only (PR or Canadian Citizen). I never ask for Cerb when covid happen, never ask food bank my part time job can fullfill that, paid my fare for using transportation, paid my rents and utilities on time and paid my credit cards. Lastly i never complaint focus on my study and I get good high paying jobs. I am proud to contribute to Canadian Economy as an Immigrant.\n\nThe question is are they doing the same? If you cannot sustain yourself dont add your burden to the country. We (Canadian Residence) paid heavy taxes from our sweat to cover ur burden and debt. Yes I would blame Indian government and immigration Agents in India and Indian immigration agents in Canada. Canada have their rules and standard which are clearly stipulated. First of all if Indian students get student visa it is supposed to be supported by a college or university where they're going to spend number of years in the college, during the period they are supposed to have declared their day to day needs Canadian Government are not responsible for students health or their food. It it is their own responsibility student can not come to Canada on visa and start working I would suggest that before they start this process from India they would be able to evaluate the honesty of immigration agents in India I do feel pity for all these illegal students who came to Canada by getting conned by Agents both in India and in Canada.

Go and read about how 'Passport Index' work. People blame government for India's low ranking whereas the factors affecting the ranking are based on how people of that country behave in foreign land. Whether they come legally and leave before their visa expires. Whether they pay tax or do crime. That's all I am saying. We are the ambassadors of our country and it is our duty to act civil when we are in foreign land as they see us as Indians irrespective of our caste, creed, religion. If you are unskilled to get a job in India then you are definitely unskilled everywhere in the world. Also, people should actually research about how pathetic is the infra in other countries that they so admire. No one shows the truth about what's going on in other countries as the whole world is busy blaming India and Indians. Is it so hard to understand that one should not do 'illegal' things?

They come to the country with ignorance and dislike for other cultures, they go to schools that give out generic test study the answers. They only allow their own to work with them, they speak their own language. They've watered down the economy.

So by the looks of it, once their student visa expires and their app for work permit denied, they throw away their papers and try entering the US. Indian students come to study not living in Canada. Young Canadian need jobs, housing and security for Canadians first. Government of Canada make banned for five year for low skilled temp worker specially Indian work and Student. Indian students protests in Canada against the New Federal Policy better you should go India and there make any protest not in Canada. You enter as Student once you education completed then go back to India.

Go check if private college is the same as a real Canadian college. It is mostly the fault of the incompliant and corrupt Liberal government for the massive influx of unskilled India workers/students. Under previous sane governments, there were manageable caps that controlled the influx and allowed for proper immigration of vetted and skilled workers, but the Liberals stopped properly vetting people and basically opened the flood gates. For a Canadian company to hire foreign workers, they used to have to prove there were no Canadian workers to do that job, so foreign workers were mostly used in seasonal agriculture work, but due to very shady government deals with big corporations Trudeau approved paying wage subsidy and turning a blind eye to Canadian workers so Singh Hortons (and many other big businesses) could have workers for a cut rate and the government tax dollars paid up to 70% of wages and welfare. Also Foreign workers think they can stay here once their visa's expire, refusing to leave. There is simply no need for Canada to bring in over a million Indians that are in hard times in their own country. Our welfare or culture can't stand it. Not sure if you missed it or not, but India's foreign minister at the start of summer, thanked Trudeau for taking all their criminals, and low caste people. But People need to follow proper immigration policy, and not buy a ticket to Canada from a India scammer guaranteeing citizenship, which has been the case as well. I've been experiencing so much discrimination here, both in in-person situations and systemic. Beyond what's said in the video, there is also an issue that it's so alienating. You can't really make friends with the locals, and then, after work, there is no cultural offer either. For example, I just can't go to the cinema in German, because everything is with German dubbing. So, you feel lonely and bored. The only thing that keeps me here is the good quality of life and good healthcare compared to some other EU countries where I lived. But now, that Germany closed its nuclear power plants and can't benefit from the cheap gas from Russia, I guess the economy will go gradually down, and so will the quality of life. And that will mean I will have no reason at all to stay.

TFW here, east Asian, a couple of things:\nI am paid the provincial minimum wage, and work in the dairy industry, medium sized farm.\nI started working straight out of high school\n\nFrom what I can see and hear from across the province and largely in the western Canadian provinces, older generation farmers are at the retirement age, but the younger generation is generally very reluctant to take over. \nNot all industries, but definitely in livestock, people sometimes don't realize that, there is literally no breaks, ever! You work every day, holidays, Christmas, and if you do chose to take a few days off, your co-workers, i.e. other family members or workers, have to take up the extra workload. You barely have time for your family, you are often tired around your kids. Farmers have some of the highest suicide rates among all occupations, as well as a difficulty to find partners due to the nature of their jobs.\nThe work is hard, days long, especially during harvests, and if the ever more expensive tractors, equipment fail...\nThere used to be a lot of family owned farms, over the last few decades most have sold their generational farm and left the industry, most because of the cost to operate and because the next generation's unwillingness to take over.\nYong people my age have not been seen applying for my position in a few years now, despite ongoing hiring effort at significantly higher than minimum wage, and I have repeatedly stated that I, although love my job, am ready to step aside at any point so a Canadian PR or citizen can take my position, as required by worker rules. There were a few inquiries from neighboring areas, mostly made by parents, but their children in the end all refused to work, even part time, or seasonal.\n\nOn the other hand, there is the issue of prices: equipment costs have largely more than doubled since the pandemic, grain prices rose... and all that on top of the constant uncertainty of the weather every planting and harvesting season. Most farms don't ever make a profit after the yearly operating cost is deducted from earnings, and the little profit that on occasion appear, goes right back into paying debt or reinvesting in renewing long overdue old equipment.\n\nMy position, and all those similar to mine in agriculture, are in all fairness, very low skilled, with minimum training, and therefore is only worth minimum wage, in my opinion. I was actually offered a higher amount but in the end turned it down because on the job, I discovered the only thing I bring to the table is manual labor (I know that's not really the right way to go about wages, but I do believe that wages should be based on the irreplaceableness of one's skills, and as it stands, although no replacements were ever found, I am very much easily replaceable, skill wise). That, compared to a slightly better paid Starbucks position, with benefits (most farm workers and owners don't have benefits or pension, yes owners too), air conditioning, regular work hours. I mean, if it wasn't for my particular interest for agriculture I'd pick Starbucks any day too!\n\nI think a couple issues are at hand, \n1. Most of agriculture's profit ends up in the corporate processing and supermarkets, that needs to change, workers could benefit, as well as consumers, from distributing that profit between farmers and shoppers.\n2. Agriculture in today's context no longer fit the modern life, although I strongly think that A LOT of people can benefit from getting their hands dirty once in a while and sweating a bit, improve physical and mental health, have better discipline all that jazz. So foreign workers are the temporary solution, if well regulated so that Canadian PR and citizens are ALWAYS prioritized for hire and at a fair wage. This cannot happen unless farmers can turn a profit, stated in point 1.\n3. A new generation of farmers are needed to take over, and they need to be somehow convinced that it is worth the toil, because as it stands, it is not, financially, life style wise. Automation is one solution, although therein lies the huge, foreseeable risk of corporate takeover.\n4. On a specific note, TFW does mandate that workers are provided up to standard housing (not always followed), which puts local workers at a huge disadvantage if they are commuting to work and paying rent, although that rarely happens, and the majority of farms do offer housing to all.\n\n\nI am aware that me being treated up to regulation is not the norm among my TFW peers, which is quite sad and unacceptable. But in my opinion, even if given a leveled playing field, wages , conditions, housing, etc. Canadian citizens and PRs largely will be unable to meet the demand for these jobs, from unwillingness to work really hard physically, unwillingness to live the lifestyle, wanting a career with better prospects... these are harsh words, but I believe to be true, and they also come from a lot of older generation farmers talking about their children and grandchildren. \n\nThis is just in the agri industry, and from what I hear from farmers from all over western Canada : )

I saw a CBC article about an international student and how shes going to struggle financially with less hours to work. First of all theyre supposed to have the money to support themselves. Secondly working a full time job while studying full time is weaking educational outcomes. No wonder IS are failing! If you cant afford too be here then you need to move back home.

Visa is over, studies are complete, either work your ways upward legitimately, if that is not possible then kindly go back. As simple as that! There should not be any argument here

This is because the government doesn’t care about their talents they have in their own country and as citizens put them first instead ask them to go abroad and study and settle down there… Is this because they don’t have good quality universities in India? The govt can’t create jobs with good salary? Is this a competition fever initiated by the Indian society like a trend? What's not being addressed is how temporary foreign workers were once relegated to to agricultural and fisheries work but are working for many exploitive employers who care about nothing more than having the lowest payroll, mainly fast-food and retail. These are entry-level jobs that many Canadians needed to survive but are being undercut by foreign cheap labor. These jobs used to pay the bills. \n\nGlobal News only showing agricultural workers and not Subway and Tim Hortons franchises shows what side of the issue Global News is on. It makes you wonder who has voting control of Corus Entertainment, probably the same investors who own many Subway and Tim Hortons locations. \n\nChrystia Freeland saying they will tie the Temporary Foreign Workers eligibility to the unemployment rate of an area still does not address how those jobs do not cover basic living expenses of Canadian citizens. Minimum wage will never go up like this but every possible expense will skyrocket to gouge the public so every corporation will cover their finances except private citizens, unless its one of the citizens destroying the country to cover their willy-nilly investments. \n\nThe young and the poor (now the majority of Canadians) aren't asking for thriving wages, cause that ship has sailed, just to be respected enough to be paid a living wage. I can't believe Trudeau thinks he will get re-elected after selling out the country to investors.

Canadians, I'm an Indian, living in US for the past 5 years in the Midwest. I'll be going back to India for my startup. I've not visited Canada and not planning to. There isnt much to see anyway...\n\nImmigrants from Punjab region were encouraged for a long time against all others for a long time... The second and third generation of them are politically active and strong. All they care about is Khalistan and nothing else and they're close to realising it first in Canada. I worked in a retail store with where Indians shopped regularly. They were the very rude to the sales helps. They talked down to us and they were the worst thieves the store has ever seen. Our regular customers started going else ware because of this problem. I'm afraid Canada is no longer a great, desirable country because we have aloud it to be taken over by the east indians. It is the governments fault but is is also the fault of the indians because they have not adapted to the Canadian way of life. They want us to adapt to their way of life. My son in law is Cardiology, in his hospital they urged Indian doctors to “shower” before going to work!!! Of course you know why!!!

It would help if all the people interviewed weren't as SKETCHY as they seemed. Go pay some taxes. If you so called Canadian weren't on drugs and hate working lazy asses then the rest of us working Canadians wouldn't have to deal with this situation. After 10 years living in BC, Canada, even while having a great job (EA Sports), I do not regret my decision of leaving.\nWe all have seen the current development and it's not that hard to picture where is this going.
