I came from Asia, I came legally. It was difficult to enter the US. I had live in the US for 5 years before getting the right to take a test to be the citizen. It is not fair that they just across the US border then get the place to live, get free mobile, and get citizen so soon. It is not fair for the Americans who have worked hard and pay tax, then money from tax paid to feed illegally. These tax money suppose to take to developed the communities in America and the care for American !

The baseline is a that Canada has a responsibility to its citizens but has no obligation to foreign persons. Clearly more could be done with less by promptly rejecting of applications except for short list skill sets. Person with problematic political beliefs should be deported ASAP. Canada doesn’t need foreign demonstrators and Canada haters in the country and should take action similar to Italy.

These people don't understand that President Trump don't play around. He will literally bring tanks and the Army down there. Now, what's going to happen is if these people actually get jobs instead of under-the-table where they have to pay taxes, they will quit working. They will quit working. You have too many unemployed local born Canadians. The foreigners who know they came without permission shouldn't expect to be considered more important then the local citizens.\nA foreign business like a school program does not have the authority to permit folks to come to Canada. How can Indians protest in Canada and demand for PR? They are not brith right citizens of Canada to demand a PR. It is Canadian Govt prerogative whether or not to offer PR to foreign national. Indians please don't act like fools and shame your country

As an Indian Immigrant who left recently, here are few tips for Canadians:\n\n1. Not every brown person is Indian, I knew people from Pakistan, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka identifying themselves as Indians.\n\n2. Its not entire India but two major states, Punjab and Gujarat, with majority of aggressive actions coming from IMMIGRANTS from Punjab and not native Punjabis who are born and brought up here.\n\n3. Immigrants can’t vote, so majorly its not your fault and so is not immigrants fault but the Government that the CITIZENS elected brought immigrants for boosting their dead economy.\n\n4. Controversial but I will say it, Canada is a FRENCH country with English as its second major language. No others language is as prominent, So if you are sure that a brown person is an IMMIGRANT and they can’t even speak ENGLISH properly let alone French, 99% chance he/she is a problem in your country and does labour work.

The fact that most of the people who work on the immigration are Indians ?? so they can grant visa to their fellow citizens. They usually cut off applications from other countries and take ??s with illegal procedures and fake documents.

That's wonderful because I'm citizens i come to this country more than 20 years my children and my grandchildren born here and I'm applying for job so many places but still not find one. I'm a single mother with two young children and need money.

You guys gate kept the jobs from Canadians, rejecting our applications and pay us unliveable wage, then cry that you dont have enough workers, only to go get foreign workers to replace us.Then cry about crime rates and the housing market. Canada have the habit of listening to citizens of other countries, especially from Africa who lie and accuse their home government of a lot of BS, just to seek asylum and you let them in.\n\nMost time your government do not bother to verify asylum seekers stories. \nMany are mostly wanted in their home countries for one crime or the other.

I've sponsored my wife applying for PR and it's been over a year. Law obeying tax paying citizens with legal applications get delayed, while illegals and terrorists get fast track. Not the Canada I know.

1/2 the population works, the youth can't move up economically, it promotes gig, contract, temporary, part-time, no benefits and the long term result is economic instability and citizens here can't afford to have families, have a life. . . People who work and live here and have their finances here, don't benefit the same way. They invited 1.2 million in one year alone and are backlogged over a year. What was this crazy government thinking? Projection is that 1/2 million people will be 'un' documented next year? And out of the 16-17 mi full-time jobs, probably less than half paying a living wage in 'Canada.' It's beyond stupidity, completely incomprehensible what our government has done. Pay Canadians full-time with proper benefits. The Canadian government sets a low benchmark for Canadians 'here.' and just keeps lowering it, not to mention, cash, bribes, kickbacks, and a blackmarket will emerge. They don't know what they're doing.

Visa rejection rate has always been high, the interview process is highly arbitrary. There is no logic to the rejection, it's dependent on on perception of the person interviewing and therefore can be highly biased. It's not right to assume and generalize that Indians are a nation of people where most have bad behaviour - this thought process is itself wrong. As an individual do any of us think that we travel just to indulge in reckless behavior? That is never a first thought - let's not generalize and have a better opinion of fellow citizens. We will be respected by outsiders if we first have respect and a positive opinion as regards each other.

My mum was born in America British and Irish parents she is an American citizen. UK has done this for years glad Americans are waking up?

As individuals we have fences, doors, alarm systems, cameras, and inherent rights to prevent anyone trespassing into our homes. No one in their right mind allows strangers invading their private space. The same applies to all nations, the US included. A governments primary objective is to secure its borders and protect her citizens.
