I went to canada with my family when i was 6 years old i thought it was so beautiful the native americans treated us with kindness my dad bought me some moccisens there. It is NOT just race. Depending on the bag or backpack you carry, you get followed, which I hate. And I'm not black. My mother also gets followed everywhere in every Macy's store. It drives me crazy. It's really annoying, because I think it's because my mom has big purses and I usually have my art backpack. \n\nWhen I'm in a different town, I get followed in Walmart all the time. If I forget my shopping bags, I will empty my backpack so I can use that to put all my items in at the end of the purchase.\n\n In Best Buy, I'm lucky to get anyone to help me at all!!! I have to hunt someone down, and most of the time, they don't know anything anyway. Target: I have a hard time finding anyone to help me as well. We know a lot of people and my face is everywhere. I never get followed. But out of town Walmart, I get followed in certain stores. It makes it really hard to turn your cart around when other people are in the same aisle. When I’m in Best Buy I am asked if I need help with finding anything at least 3 times per visit. I’m not saying the underlying reason was not a racial bias...I just think that some of those employees are following their training to approach people that seem to be wandering in their section. Brother, you are lucky that you got a part-time job in Canada Post. I have been in Canada for 7 years and I started working in a Hasty Market for $4 an hour and that was night shifts. I have spent days without drinking water, food is way far. Today I have my family here (Wife and Brother) and I always smile when I think about the day I spent without water. People think that living in foreign countries us good and relaxing and you enjoy a lot. Well this is not true. I have one of my friends who told me the way he lives and works and studies in Canada. Believe me, you won't like to hear what he told me. He does two part time jobs starting from morning to afternoon at 3 and does another one from 4 to 8 and he barely gets 4 to 5 hours to study. At times when there are exams or tests in the college, he has to skip the work and go to the College but when he skips, he feels from deep inside that for today I don't have even this amount of money and believe me, staying in Canada or any other county is not as easy as eating a plate of rice and on the first time when you go to look for a job, you will get it at McDonald's or any type of restaurants. And the work my friend does is to cut meat at McDonald's in Canada.

And here I am watching this after I arrived home in the Philippines after a 2 years work permit and contract in Edmonton Alberta when my work permit renewal was rejected by immigration Canada and there is this fraud immigration thing. There are entire books missing (such as the books that were eaten by a goat). \nNow that we have access to the Hadiths (they weren't translated to English until the 21st century) we are finding out a lot more about the history of Islam, and Muslims don't like it.

It’s a tough situation for the USA. We have a record number of immigrants here. There’s no easy or nice way to enforce the law. \n\nOne thing also that has hurt immigrants is they vote 80% for Democrats. You may not think it’s a big deal but it is to Republicans trying to prevent too much socialism from taking hold. That causes more resistance to immigration. Traditionally immigrants, as they stay longer in the USA, become Republicans and we reach an equilibrium. If too many immigrants come in a short period, there is not enough time to acclimate them and maintain political stability.

Canadians will have to pay to help house these folks during what will likely be prolonged hotel stays (not just days or a few weeks, but possibly months), it may be better to just help them by paying for a one-way plane ticket back to their original point of origin (or to the nearest safe country to it). Americans don’t flock to get these jobs quick . Oh yeah they can’t handle the idea of hard work . It’s easier to stand on a corner , with a hand out and get money that way.
