Really ironic to read some of the comments here. Maduro rules Venezuela by decree of his party's legislature. He refused to accept the results of the elections in which his opponent won in 2018 and deployed the military to kill dissenters. This is EXACTLY what Republicans wanted to have done in the US: have Trump rule by SCOTUS decree and deploy the military to counter Democrat and Independent protestors.

It makes me happy to see all the comments of legal immigrants to the US who are angered by this. Personally I have no issues with legal immigration from any country and I respect it and I'll break bread with you cuz your an American now like me. I think legal immigrants are a breath of fresh air and we can have some support coming from the Hispanic community against illegal immigration. Sm people think if your hard on illegal immigration your racist against Hispanics but that's not it at all. We need more legal immigrants with this mindset to help diversify the republican party and help to stop democrats from labeling it as a racist party. Now adays so many people aren't republican solely because they aren't white and think the democratic party is more favorable to anyone of color. But the republican party favors Americans period regardless of race. Illegal immigration is bad even if America was in a totally different place and bordered a white nation we still wouldn't want em in here just as much. If Canada had a curropt authoritan government and they were all illegally immigrating here than it'd be them we'd be having these disputes with. This is not a racial thing, this is about breaking the law and hurting the US economy.

This is deplorable and it’s going to destroy our country in so many ways. First, our social, educational, and criminal systems cannot absorb this many people all at once. We have enough people immigrating here legally. These people get benefits, free healthcare, welfare probably, phones, and they shouldn’t. They should be told to go home. If I was them; I would go to Canada. It’s dangerous here since Republicans only give “thoughts & prayers” instead of passing sensible gun legislation; their children would be in danger in our schools.
