Tell me is this what you are wanting from our government? White powerful men murdered, stole land, inflicted disease and forced them onto reserves. They kidnapped their children and forced them to go to residential schools. Many Indigenous children never went back home and parents weren't informed if they died. The survivors that returned home have PTSD which still affects their families and community. Treaties are not honoured and they are the most disrespect people in Canada. We see the homes some live in and we wouldn't allow our pets to live there and some don't have clean water to this day. Our government has provided some relief; however, it is a trickle of the help and support they deserve. Many Canadians deem them as drunks, drugged and/or lazy. If we had and have to live like that we would be the same. The government whitewashed our history and don't teach true history. How is this not considered a hostile invasion and why isn't the border protected like other counties where trying to sneak in is considered a threat to security of its citizens. As someone from Asia who lives with a comfortable life I guess I’m privileged enough than most people who live on the other part of the world. But still, I can never understand why people force themselves illegally. They can just go through legal process, I’m sure there are other ways. This will never happen here in our part of the world. It’s easier to spot who is not one of us. If you want to move to a new country, do it LEGALLY.

Why do people want to try to live in the US? I will never understand. You will have a terrible quality of life unless you are rich, and even then, it's still a dangerous sh*thole where people are not even guaranteed basic human rights like health care.

Immigrated to Canada many years ago as skill worker in the engineering field, and there were no opportunities in that country, Canada just needed laborers to fill out factories and people to do the jobs that the Canadian born did not want to do. I ended up working in my field in the USA, and salaries and opportunities are much better in this country. Americans are very practical, they just want someone with the right knowledge. When applying for jobs in Canada, employers were very obsessed with Canadian education and experience, but in my opinion, that was an intentional way to block immigrants. In the USA I was never asked for American education or experience, the interviews were very straightforward, very technical, they just wanted to verify technical knowledge. In conclusion, if looking for professional opportunities, the USA is much better than Canada, but legal immigration as a professional to the USA is extremely difficult.

In 2010 I had a one way ticket to Florida to visit some friends. At the airport they pulled me aside and said that if I didn’t come back to Canada within 14 days I’d never be allowed back into America again. I was traumatized and never went back. But here we are 13 years later and I can just walk wherever I want to go on this side of the world lol…but for real, this is sad. If you aren’t used to Canadian temperatures your in trouble. Hope everyone is okay. It is rough though, I was in a shelter for two months, but some families were there for almost a year because of the housing crisis. I’m not exactly sure how this will work. ?

I have so much to say. I'm afraid of sounding racist. I dont like it. Dealing with this right now! There has been an influx in my town. Now there isnt housing left when we were fine before. My children are being slighted when they could be celebrating their 1st apartment. My interaction has been poor with a few of these people. Impossible to communicate. Very awkward having an 8 yo translate. Many want to move into nice neighborhoods but never follow the city code enforcement or rules. Then hide behind don't speak English! I kinda lived in a fantasy world of my own for some time(No drugs or anything). I have currently formed a great passion for making music. Although I still don't play multiple instruments or know my way around mixing software. I have a decent vocal and I can make melodies.With my music knowledge I believe that I can make good songs if someone could make music part for me. \n\nI want to immigrate to 1st world country because I feel like my talents are wasted here. I was also a great soccer player but couldn't do anything with that because there's no proper platform. \n \nSo I want to do Master's degree in a English speaking country like USA/Canada/Australia. Well Canada is a great country, my grand parents were able to get here in 1957 with their 3 kids, after going through and surviving WWII, work in Europe was scarce and employers were abusing their workers everywhere. My dad was one of those 3 children's, he met my mother here, they had me and my sister. Today i have 3 boys of my own and my sister has 2 girls. Canada has any country as their plusses and minuses, but i wouldn't live anywhere else. I've lived my whole life on the south shore of Montréal, worked in and around Montréal for 35 years. Never ran out of work as long as i was willing and able to work. I've worked in all my life, 65% immigrants and 35% Québecer's. There both are kinda racists in some way and they have there own reasons as well. I was bullied in school till i was 11 years old, i had an accent and dressed differently since my dad made our clothing. Being ridiculed, pushed, punched etc, and then one day the bully of the school approached me and wanted to fight me. I was scared, everyone else were laughing, so i clenched my fist and punched that kid right on the nose. Everyone got quiet and the principal came out, we went to his office and then he asked me straight away : Are you gonna do this again or was it a one time thing ?? I said it will be one time thing unless someone else wants to fight me again, then i will have to defend myself again. He said ok and now go back to class, and that was that. But in the 1970's with the augmentation of people moving here after WWII, people in Canada were scared immigrants would steal their jobs etc. My grand father worked all his life till he died at 82 years old. Worked 6 days a week, 12 to 16 hours a day. My dad had worked all his life 70 hours a week and sometimes 85 hours a week. People complaining about doctors or hospitals, a lot are going in for a cold, the flu, headaches etc, for sure take 2 aspirin or tylenol and stay home, no need to see a doctor for that. If you have a broken limb or were in an accident, you go right in and get fixed up without issue really. Any country as it's inconveniences in the end ?

Even more shocking was learning about Canadas rationed inefficient monopoly. \nUntil it emulates Bismarck models of European countries & allows a 4 profit private sector to run alongside, will never move back. Will only vote for the Conservative Party now - which wants to emulate Bismarck models like Germany, Japan & Netherlands to create a strong public sector. \nNDP/Liberal want to maintain the inefficient status quo that wastes taxpayer $ and don’t perform as well

It keeps asking me to redo the Countries or territories of residence section. I fill there current address which is China and they have citizenship there From 2019 (I check This is where I currently Live). I feel like there's a certain segment of people in each country who grow disillusioned with their home country and want to move. I've never been to Canada, nor do I know anyone who lives there. Got my car broken into in Montreal in the six years I livelived there three times only one of them got caught the police asked me if I wanted to send him to jail I said yes they were very surprised. I said yes they sent me paperwork stating that he went to jail for a few months and never got my car broken into when I lived in the US lived here, most of my life.

To each his own because i have had horrible experiences in Canada. During covid lock down , i went to visit my sister and missed my flight twice because of difficulties with getting a covid test. There was a whole long line just to get a damn test. Here in America there's a CVS everywhere. \nI also did not like the food there too much. After buying food from a local restaurant i knew my home cooked food would have turned out better. \n My sister gave birth and bought a sofa around the time she just put to birth. The guy doing the delivery left the couch at the door after i begged him to help us as my sister just had a c-section and could not lift heavy stuff-he refused and i was just shocked. In America people would gladly help if you needed help.\nLast month i sent my sister a Christmas gift through UPS and when it arrived Canada, they returned it to me after i paid to clear it at customs.\nI would never want to go to Canada again.

I feel like Canada is a lite version of the U.S. \n\nI'm a lifelong U.S. citizen and been to Canada many times. Mostly in Ontario, Nova Scotia and Quebec. \n\nI totally agree Canada is and feels way safer. I've been to some areas of Toronto that are HOOD and I was taken aback. The 6ix is getting a little crazy, I don't know what's happening with the Lake Ontario air over there. Overall though, Toronto is so much safer, cleaner and much more pleasant to be in than in NYC or Chicago (from my experience and I choose those cities because they are usually compared to each other). Montreal has some sketchy areas but some of the sketchy areas of Montreal are comparable to a nice suburban area of the Bronx or Queens. The Zoe's in Montreal can be annoying but overall I never felt I had to be on alert. Again, Canada definitely is a lot safer (to me) and also way cleaner. \n\nAs for the cities, I think overall the urban areas of Canada are a little better with city planning but its not that much different. Other than Some areas of Canada you also need a car or if not, you're assed out. The provinces in Canada are HUGE and you can be driving all day in just one province. And like the U.S. the rail system across the nation isn't too great. Actually, I think the U.S. has a better bus (Greyhound/GhettoHound, Peter Pan, Mega Bus etc) and rail system (Amtrak) then Canada does. Not saying a whole lot but its still better I feel. \n\nWeather. If you're looking for warm weather year round, you will NOT find that in Canada. \n\nI think the U.S. provides more opportunity at the moment and overall, I think there's more to do and see and I believe it or not I think people in the U.S. generally are a little bit friendlier and more full of life. Of course, everything depends on what you're looking for but both are great countries but I find myself wanting to move up north to Canada nowadays but the gun laws are a deterrent for me.

America is still probably the best place in the world to make money even without an education n why so many people want to go - unfortunately due to woke culture even the nicest places in Europe (n Canada) are no longer safe which is why I'll never leave Texas n give up my guns - when I get old n retire I'll do so in a holy place in India however

I’m traveling rn, so I talk to a lot of internationals about the pros and cons of American. The greatest pros would be we are definitely the land of opportunity, so if you want make a lot of money there’s no country better. The people also have this optimism about the future that’s not as prevalent around the world, and the country is very diverse which means you can find a state that matches you want. However the downsides would be the stark wealth inequality, and lackluster healthcare. The polarization between the left and right, and the crazy urban sprawl which you never get used to.\n I think the inequality is due to us having this bootstraps mentality when it comes to success. Whenever I tell other Americans how lucky I am they’re quick to say that it’s all due to my worth ethic, but life is a lot more nuanced. Regardless I still love my country, and can’t see myself living anywhere else. ??

Grew up in Poland while it was Communist we had better transportation than I ever saw in the States. A bus ran every 5 minutes. You have trolleys trains walk out of your house, and you have all means of transportation right there. We never needed a car, not that we want one. When I go back to Poland, I see the same thing is a great transportation system.

I think that's one of the largest problems in the United States. To be a real estate developer or landlord, I want to make good money.\n\nIf the cost of the 20 building complex costs me $125 million, I will set the majority of those to elegance and people willing to pay for that. But it seems quite greedy to charge exorbant rents and continue having that cost go up every year.\n\nIf mortgages in a median area are $2500, let me set the rent to maybe $1500 to $1800. But that's not the case!\n\nRenting, the cost of the apartment NEVER caps off! To think that I'm renting a 1 or 2-bedroom apartment at $1875, but no in-house laundry, no dishwasher, but I'm paying for water, gas, extra fees is insane! \n\nAnd these owners wonder why people try to kill them.

I wanted to live abroad and still do. Ever since I saw Travels in Europe with Rick Steves Denmark episode, I've always wanted to go. I finally went in 2018. I still want to live there, but Europe went crazy during covid. It wasn't too bad with the Scandinavian countries, but I will NEVER GO TO GERMANY AGAIN. The unfortunate thing is, a lot of people can't talk about simple truths. And if you try to, you will be called a racist, because facts and statistics are racist apparently. But if you look at the crime statistics database, something like 90% of violent crime is committed by black and Hispanic men between the age of 18 to 45. If you removed that demographic from America, America would be like some future Utopian world where all we knew was peace. So those demographics need to be allowed to be talked about if we want to be able to find solutions and solve those problems. And no, giving reparations would never solve stop those crimes. It's a cultural things that's kept around by bad parenting, poor education, and their surroundings. Sweden is a perfect example where they had nearly 0 crime until they started letting in black refugees from all over. Grape, robbery, and assaults all went up by not 20, 30, 40, 50%. Not even 100%. Those crimes went up by like 400% or more. Women who had lived there their whole lives now had to walk the streets in fear. White men had to now be worried about getting assaulted or stabbed by immigrants who were hitting on his girlfriend in clubs. Or watch what he said back to a refugee who mouthed off to him trying to start shit. They are completely disrespectful and unappreciative of being allowed to live there and be given government assistance. This is how people become prejudice. They SEE how other cultures act and treat them, and they don't want anything to do with them because they simply fear for our safety.

This is why Canada wants all the immigrants to come work here so they can drain all their income in taxes to pay for all the old people draining the system. They need workers at low paying jobs to work double hrs. paying double taxes to pay for senior's health care etc. They are also consumers who will have to spend what's left of their pay cheques to just feed and clothe themselves. Leaving so little left to actually do anything with. As a 5th generation Canadian I have struggled all my life to just keep food and home to live and raise my kids on very little. Canada is not fun. Least fun because of all the rules on everything. Taxes and fees on everything. There used to be much more fun and things were much more relaxed in the 70's and 80's but now it has changed so much that I'm starting to hate my own Country, my province and the Canadian leadership at this time is the worst in history. And get this: I'm so poor I couldn't even afford to move around or travel in my own damned country! We don't even have a universal transit bus system to travel anymore. YOu have to have a car or fly but be damned if you can hop the old Greyhound and go from Vancouver to Toronto anymore and save a few bucks. It's sick and dysfunctional here.

Being born in Canada I was proud of our multiculturalism and believed Canada was the greatest but as an adult I don't understand why people would want to live here. I pay over 40% of my income to the government for all the things that make Canada great but it is just not that way. My taxes help pay for programs that I am not eligible for because before taxes I make too much money but after taxes my take home is the amount that qualifies for programs but that's not how the system works. I need the program because I help pay for it but can't use it because of having money that is not considered to be mine. According to the CRA the money I pay the government in taxes does not and has never belonged to me but that same government labels that tax money as mine in order to deny me the programs I help pay for. It is a good idea to leave Canada if you can. There is no future for the working class except servitude to the government.

This doesn’t exist just so you all know if you want to talk about race how about the insanely rude Chinese everywhere in this country how about the blacks that randomly attack whites and Asians how about the East Indians that outwardly show disrespect to women who aren’t covered to their likening. Diversity doesn’t work never had in any western country that’s a fact!

Pun intended ;) \nI've lived in three different countries and soon moving to the fourth ie. Canada. Living in different places gives a broader view on society and helps understanding that nowhere is perfect. I think that immigrants' frustration primarly comes from the fact that we do not make enough research on what to expect when moving. You should write down pros and cons on moving, make sure you understand what are the most important things for you and check if that new country provides that. Watching videos like yours is a great way to start. It really comes down to what you want from life and if you are willing to adapt to achieve it. \nOn the other hand, Canadians' frustration might come from the fact that they never lived anywhere else :)\nAs for my top three things that disapoint me the most: Healthcare, Housing, Technology.

This is your opinion author. The thing is same everywhere. You can make joy everywhere you want. You can make friends.. good neighbours... it is totally up to you. I want to leave my home country bcs of low salary, corruption, no gas, no electricity in winter... I want to live in a country where there is fairness, development, best education for my children etc. Why are you not leaving USA or Canada where you are living now? Why are you making inspiring videos regarding US immigration or sth like that if you think negatively? Just go to Africa never return to this country if you don't like... but don't make this kind of videos.

the political climate and leaders are partly to blame. whites feel that imagrintes are wanting the change the country. on the flip side imagrints feel they are being discriminated against.both political sides are fuelling this problem to farther their political gain. racisim will never be gone.you will always be biest towards their own kind its just bioology and it does not mean we need to act on it

Swap Alberta with Quebec and you have a fairly accurate list. Mind you, this video was a year ago as of the time I write this, so things have changed, and will continue to change. But believe me, if you want to be able to make coin, buy a house, and live comfortable while still enjoying a scenic environment with e government historically aimed at pleasing the people and not taxing you up the arse, or if you want to start a business of your own, Alberta is the place. I've never felt so much happiness as I have in Alberta, and moving to other provinces has always been a disappointment and I always found myself wanting to move back to Alberta. Only problem is a relatively short supply of beaches....

I never wanted to move to the third world. Now Unjustin is moving the third world here.
