You asked us to share what we think, so here is what l think... \n\nThe immigration target for 2024 was around 500,000 people true, this includes everyone given a PR in 2024 (spouse, children) but the larger portion of this 500k is via economic migration which only issued a total of 110,000 invitations to apply for 2023 for example. this means that only 110k people were invited to apply for PR. These people have family members (spouse and kids) that accompany them there by increasing the total PR migrants to that +500k figure. \nSo now to your point....\n\nif only 110k people are invited to apply for PR each year, and these people bring family members this means they stay in one house (main applicant, spouse and three kids will stay in 1 house for example)....\n\nif 250k houses are being built each year.... \n\nthis means there are 250k house built each year versus 110 people that came in...\n\nin my view, more than enough houses will be built in the next couple of years to take care of the migrants coming in\n\n\n\nthis is what l think.

Canada is NOT RESPONSIBLE or obligated to India in any way! Indian 'students' are SCAMMING our immigration system...and refuse to leave when their 'studies' are completed. Many cannot even speak proper English, nor do they have the skills to add to our economy...yet they still come and bring their entire family tree with them. Back in 2011 I came to Canada in search of a better place to live for myself and my family. In 2022 I returned back to Russia because Canada has dramatically changed for worse, especially since 2020. Canada is or was a great country. Super nice people to work with! It is over now. I honestly see nothing in Canada that will help you improve your life because the cost of life is exorbitant. If you dream, Canada is no longer a place where you can bring your dreams to life. Working in a multi national bank (UK based) where even some colleagues at a senior level do not know how to converse in English. You came to this country to escape all that BS, so don't start it all over again.\nI worked at a convention/banquet centre, and we had an Eritrean group come regularly for their annual independence celebration. Really nice people who brought really good food, and treated our staff very well. Similar has happened to Surrey/North Delta British Columbia of the 400,000 residents living here,179,000 are from India. I remember years ago when Brampton was a small quaint town back in the 1970s this India didn't exist. Generally this happens when years ago real estate was cheap all the Indians moved in to the cheaper part of the community then slowly took over, and invaded the community. Same happened in 1995 in Richmond BC when Hong Kong leases expired with China. My issues is that Canadians grew up with diversity, however now you walk into Tims, McDonald's, Walmart, etc., and you see no diversity, just 100% Indians in most places. Hardly any blacks, Asians, eastern Europeans, etc. It is also a matter of too many too fast, not enough time for them to integrate into Canadian society. As far as government, they are bringing in too many people without the infrastructure to support them, so they are taking away from Canadians of all races.

If the situation was reversed, we were living in an impoverished country and were invited to immigrate to another country with better opportunities, I know damn well Canadians would jump at it, so I can't blame Indians for coming here.
