As an Indian, this feels really heartbreaking. Hearing the worsening experiences of Canadians themselves, i dont Know what to say. There are a couple of things, which i have noticed so far. both the canadian government, and the Indian students shifting to Canada are at wrong. I wont take the side of the Indians. I totally believe in learning about the culture, the language of the place, u are shifting to, solely for education purposes, but most of the students, especially indians forget that. Even i would not feel fine if someone(immigrant) would come to my home country without knowing about the culture, the language, and just simply misuse our resources. \nBoth the parties have resulted in breaking the trust of the canadians. I deeply apologize!

did you know that you get a pension till the day you die for being employed as a Politian for only 4 years. and now they have just changed the money of the pension to 85% of the total wages based on the maximum earnings and it is now floating to what the current wage is. So if you retired a Politian 40 years ago and made it that 4 long years to retirement and your wage was 200k per year, you get 170k per year till the day you die, and when the current wage of the Politian goes up, they bump your pension up. That was a new bill that was passed last year. so glad we get to hear about the 1 billion per year that the CBC gets. Anyone care to take a guess at what that revolving 4 year retirement pension plan is costing the Canadian Tax payers? My guess is about 60 billion per year so far.

Today, when I think of a new country to live in, I have a lot of doubts, there aren't many options. What is so crazy if you have VPN and a couple of minor technologies you can watch social media from around the world, using easy technology you can hear and see what people are saying, thinking and doing all over the world. This is a Canada specific video but this same video, almost exactly that same issues are playing out all over the world! Pick a country and people want to leave.. to get to the greener grass on the other side.. that other place, other country or culture where things are better, more like they used to be, the entire planet is in a state of flux!! Everyone is trying to run away from something bad.. makes sense.. just the illogical part is where you are going has same stuff just different levels of progress!!

I am a Filipino, and I could say, not all Indians are bad, but a few rotten apples are to be blamed for the bad impression caused against the Indian community. Truth be told, it maybe unpleasant to hear but this is a true matter of fact.

Sorry to say that but Indians are very corrupt, they are trying to cheat any system or any rule. They are the ones behind all kinds of illegal implementations on: Immigration(selling jobs which is illegal), banking system(forging income documents to get high Mortgages from banks), cheating on documents(like fake school letter of acceptances or fake banking statements) and exams(offering to enter exams on behalf of others with a charge). These are not general considerations, I personally am in the know of all these examples myself and I am hearing many others. \nAdditionally they are disrupting the labor market by lowering life standards. To be specific, there are many indians, living 10-20 people in the same home, lowering their life costs, then going to businesses offering for a much lower salaries, hourly wages since their living costs are considerably low. This is not a fair competition, you can not expect people to live in barracks, just to be able to compete. this is disrupting social life.\nThe pooping and these kinds of senitary examples are just the icing on the cake. \n\nFinally, the indian community are not trying to come in to Canada and be a part of the community and the system, instead they are trying to turn this country into India, which they are running from in the first place. \n\nCanadians are nice yes, but any sound person should react accordingly if their kindness is abused. \nOfficial are needed to take actions on this, since I don't expect the Indian comm unity to behave.

Wow, so very much of what you said is exactly the same for me. I also have been researching and for years about other countries and the possibilities to live in another country. I have lived in several-working, studying and travelling and have recently chosen what I hope is my long-term country. I will share that I have learned not to say permanently because things can change and quickly-Thailand and income tax, Turkiye and cost of living, Cambodia and corruption and crime, etc. All the best to you and I am looking forward to hearing all your thoughts and decisions. I'm a Canadian and I moved to Asia 20 years ago. My motivations for leaving were the endless winters, the absolute necessity of having a car and two sets of tires, crazy insurance prices, and getting taxed on everything without seeing benefits. Now when I visit I am shocked at the price of everything from food to gas to hotels. In addition, I hear that housing has gone through the roof. Many can't afford to buy and face bidding wars to rent a place. With oil, timber, minerals and more, Canada should not be in this position. The government(s) have really messed things up and need to start reversing these trends now.

Apparently it's not true that you just fall asleep if you die of cold. At the last, it's very painful, like being on fire, ironically. It happened to a whole family at the Manitoba border in 2022. I can't hear another story like that again.
