My apt building is filling up with immigrants, all the whites are moving out as the landlord is letting our building turn into a slum, whenever i call, he is in India, he has not fixed a damn thing and as white people move out, he does not clean the apt between people, he let's them move in with other people's garbage, he did that to me and when i complained he asked for the keys back, he is also doubling the rent of the new immigrants. Why is it true Canadians are becoming homeless...i don't see any Indians living on the street at all!! They are causing rent to be unaffordable for us...... they own the stores and are in control of pricing... we are f*cked....i am not being racist as i have wonderful Indian friends who i adore but it is too unbalanced, people are getting angrier and blaming all of them as a whole...... if they live in Canada, why don't they speak English then?? We can't communicate and they don't even try.... if i went to india i would have to learn their language, right?!!!

What bothers me the most is how Canada prioritizes low skill workers over high skilled. Came here 2 years ago on work permit, both wife and I are tech professionals with over 10 years of work ex in global organizations. I honestly wouldn't mind going back to India or any other country once my visa expires as I know my skills are enough to land a job anywhere (got a job in 1.5 months here). Value add to the economy must also be kept in mind while choosing your permanent residence by the government, how it works in US.
