You are wrong about Canada protecting and caring about homeless and in-need people. The reality is that even though you don't see all the homeless people, there are tens of thousands of them in each city, more so in the warmer climates. The UN has already been on Canada's back for the abuse of homeless people and the cruelty towards them and those with mental health problems. Canada is a fraud and has been deceiving immigrants and visitors for over a hundred years. Many of the homeless people in Canada, especially in the past 20 years and from the start of the pandemic, continuing to this day, are now including people with good educations and many years of high-level job experiences, as well as whole families. These people became homeless because of massive job layoffs and lost everything. Contrary to the popular Canadian ideology, homeless people are not lazy slobs who don't bother to work and need to get their acts together. Many of the homeless shelters are filled with dangerous people, bed bugs, and diseases. Many homeless people choose to find alternatives to sleep safely. Many homeless women experience terrible sexual assaults that rarely are reported and rarely ever taken seriously by the police. Most alternatives to shelters are limited and there are so many restrictions that qualifying doesn't always happen. Many have had their ID stolen, so they are unable to get jobs, rent homes, or even have a day to shower and clean their clothes. Most donations of clothes, blankets, and sleeping bags are disregarded because most homeless people don't have the means to carry things. Their nutrition is terrible, through no fault of their own. Many food banks will not give food to those without a home. Many soup kitchens will only help periodically and not for every meal. Canada's treatment of homeless people and mentally people is not just disgraceful, but criminal. The general attitude of many Canadians, as taught to them by deliberate government propaganda, is that if you are poor or were abused or a victim of crime, is that they did something to deserve it. Rents across Canada are beyond the reach of the majority of Canadians, yet, Canada refuses to set up a council house system like the UK. There are no emergency homes and no emergency assistance even close to what the UK and other countries across the world provide. Canada's continued abuse, ill-treatment, crimes against humanity, and genocide of the First Nations peoples is not a past history, but an ongoing history that is not about reconciliation. It is about shutting them up so that they cannot speak and get true justice, instead of just a federal government settlement of a meager amount that has only increased the addictions of victims, who have no one to help them or a place to turn. Canada lies about trauma help and treatment for people for having been victims, or have developed PTSD (this is a brain injury and only a mental health problem if the person becomes suicidal or is unable to do the basics of essential living), and worse, Canada lies about this in relation to kids. Alberta has a place that they claim is for treating trauma in kids. However, this place is nothing more than a low-level counseling center to reunite kids with their parents, who have been removed by law. Any child requiring help has to deal with just basic counselors, who are not trained in helping traumatized and PTSD kids. In relation to the First Nations peoples, if the teens have mental health issues, and if they have to be temporarily hospitalized by their parents, social workers and doctors will force joint custody with the parents, to treat the kids or remove them so they can carry on the government's crimes against the First Nations peoples. The crimes continue. In these past few months, a baby was left to die in a basket at a nurse's station in the Misericordia Hospital, Edmonton, Alberta. The mother was allegedly treated like garbage and her child was allegedly called a specimen. But this is not the only case of such abuse of First Nations pregnant mothers and their children. A case over a decade ago allegedly also took place, and the number of these cases in this hospital alone may possibly be much higher, and other hospitals may also be hiding such crimes. An infant, who was the victim of attempted murder by one or the other parent, was put in the care of relatives by social workers, who were totally unaware of the crime, but the one parent, who was put in the hospital's mental health unit, mentioned a version of what had happened, and when the relatives found out, they were allegedly reassured by the hospital that they would deal with the matter. The relatives believed, understandably, that the hospital would report the crime, but it never did. Allegedly the hospital covered up yet another crime. The police in the city, allegedly informed at some point, one of the relatives that no charges could be laid even if the child remembered as the Canadian health services do not believe that children below the age of 4 can remember anything. It was when I heard about this that I realized that the reason Canada has gotten away with the crimes against the 1st Nations, immigrants, Canadians, and who knows how many other victims, through the mandated alleged use of forced assimilation and the alleged Soviet-style education system, is because of this fake claim that children and even infants cannot remember things. This deliberate lie to those relatives allegedly by the police, shows clearly that Canada is following the dangerous path in a more stealthy fashion than the Nazis did to the Jews and others they rounded up, arrested, tortured, and/or eventually murdered. Your perceptions are limited by your obvious lack of real knowledge and real experience. Please, if you are going to make such a video, live in Canada, all over Canada for at least 30 years, then comment, please!

Every single topic discussed on this video is not only accurate but they are things i deal with every day.\n\nI work at a hotel downtown and with all the Homelessness and mental illness my job often seems more about keeping people out of the hotel than letting people in.\n\nWe were one of the last hotels to take cash and debit and we found out the hard way it just doesnt work and now we need credit cards like the other hotels which isnt fool proof and is unfair to people who dont use credit cards (like me) but its better than nothing.\n\nA lot of people are free to move around but they do not function in a way that is compatible with modern society for which there is no escape. A lot of homeless people lead miserable lives it seems and sometimes two people having a bad day end up colliding.\n\nI have a nice home with a roomate but our landlady likes us and isnt as concerned about money as having good tenants. My sister went to Canada to study animation because it was a quarter of the price, faster, and had better employment numbers than our schools in America. Everything went very smooth, she got steady employment that was willing to sponsor her visas and a reasonably straightforward path to dual citizenship.\n\nWhen we road-tripped up to Vancouver to get her settled, her landlady got upset with us when we pulled out the tools and started to adapt for her a custom bedframe riser. I have lived in central BC, Nova Scotia and I grew up in Calgary. I have never found a family doctor to be hard to find. Homelessness has never been a significant problem. The problems you expressed in this video seems (at least) somewhat exclusive to Toronto and Vancouver. I hate when these two cities are showcased as Canada in its entirety is when obviously, Canada is so much more than that.

Yes when I was living in Canada, I couldn't even find a general practitioner. Then when I finally found one, he was a guy right out of medical school who couldn't even recognize acid reflux syndrome etc.

In 1960's people went to UK with a job voucher, enrolled for education and then found a decent job. The families only had to pay for the travelling expenses. There was no job agencies to give false promises and make money. \nCanada is heaven where you have to share a room with a dozen of strangers sharing kitchen and washroom.

Although you compare French in Canada and Spanish in the US, its a stretch in terms of influence and history. French in Canada is the founding language and is widely spoken in Eastern Canada, and the only official language in Quebec, and an official language on a federal level. In the US Spanish is mainly fairly recent spoken by immigrants from 20 different spanish speaking countries spread out all over the place. Spanish in the US is a foreign language..in Canada its the founding language (English was over 100 years later). If you want to do anything at the federal level in Canada, including being a politician, you have to speak both. For an American mentioning Spanish is like someone from France mentioning Arabic.

Swap Alberta with Quebec and you have a fairly accurate list. Mind you, this video was a year ago as of the time I write this, so things have changed, and will continue to change. Well I already left the Canada last year after having lived for 5 years. I am in my early 30s , south asian immigrant. I had a good paying job. I left because more so because of the social isolation and the pandemic measures. Plus I feel most Canadians may seem polite , but not friendly as in - extremely hard to make friends. Ethnic groups stick to themselves and don't mix. I found dating to be extremely hard and toxic. People have high individualistic mentality and don't open up.\n\nI am now in working in Mexico / Latin America and my mental health has greatly improved. I am able to socialize and women here aren't as stuck up as in Canada. Real world interactions are valued here unlike in Canada where it's all about the apps and social media. Also who doesn't like some good consistent sunshine. Overall , I am happy to have left Canada and am not coming back.

A lot of the points you made were true, but not exclusively Canadian problems, they’re western problems. I dated someone who lived in the US, and travelled back and forth. I also used to work for a major American health insurance company. It’s a nightmare. The cost of premiums alone. I totally agree about the cost of living here... but I think the rest of your points lacked research and any solid supporting arguments. It’s boring? Why? Where are you living? Because I’ve lived in Montreal, Toronto, now I live in a smaller town and I can find you’d something fun to do every day. I think if you’re bored you’re boring. So Canada is expensive, boring, cold, and (shock horror) not exclusively populated by Nigerian immigrants? You could have found out about the cost of living, weather and demographics online before you went. As for being boring, outside of work you have total control over how bored you are. I thought I was insane for telling my canadian husband about all of the things Canada has to improve (literally everything you mentioned in the video), but found myself supported by someone else's experience and perspective (yours). My country also has it flaws, obviously, but at the end of the day I would leave Canada if I could, I just can't leave my husband behind ?‍♀️ But we will figure it out. I was born and raised in Canada and left 30 years ago. I went to Vancouver about 10 years ago to visit family and I also found it ugly. The big glass buildings looked so dirty and outdated. It felt like an old outdated logging town. Like most Canadians, I used to be proud of the medical system but now I've realized it doesn't cure people it just keeps the citizens sick. Everyone I know there is sick and they are all proud of how many operations they've had and how many pills they take. I remember paying 30% in taxes as a University student with a part-time job. It just wasn't fair. The last straw was when I saw how the Trudeau government responded during covid. They hijacking the news stations and brainwashed the citizens. And then, they froze bank accounts of those who dared to protest or even support protesters. I lost a lot of respect for people there who I thought were intelligent and It made me realize how that place turns people into drones. Now I'm ashamed to be Canadian. Most Canadians live in a bubble and think it's the best country in the world but that's because they don't know what it's like to live. Good for you for leaving. I wish you all the best.

I can imagine that what you are describing will be the case with my wife. But is Nigerian men are here so you don’t have to be spending your money. You Guys even have opportunity for a medical care. In Africa they are not sure of the medical care. They do not have money for the medical care and they ended up on self medication which is not good. Things are also hard. People dies for no good reason. Graduates does not have employment. We know that no place like home but it is only for the Home where System works, where life is respected and valued etc. Experience they said is the best Teacher. I rather advise people to have an experience. What worked for A may not work for B. What you people said is the same thing every where. If Africa become better by the grace of God, people will go back home. Home is where you found your Comfort.

Everything you have said resonates with a lot of people who live in many different countries around the world. That's because your observations make sense. Only thing, though, is that your reflections harken back to the beginning of time. People have always struggled to survive regardless of where they happened to live on planet earth. Life is tough. I do not mean to dismiss your concerns, but let's think about how our ancestors lived two, three, or more generations ago (or even centuries ago). We probably have it much better than they did. As you know, there isn't a perfect place to live. But, yes, by all means look for places where you'll likely find the lifestyle you want. Absolutely! What I have found is that you'll experience a lot of trade offs. For instance, instead of having to deal with cold, rainy weather, you can find a warm and sunny place, but there will be a constant threat of earthquakes or wild fires. Again, keep looking for that special place, and maybe that process, the process of dreaming and seeking, will be a way of experiencing your paradise (vicariously) -- as dreams can provide things that we can only hope for in reality. In any case, I wish you well!

As hunting goes, we get some of the most varied big game species in all of Canada (Black bear, Moose, Elk, White Tail Deer, Forest Bison, Woods and Plain Caribou, Wolves). In the US thousands of people go bankrupt each year due to medical bills. I don't think that this happens in Canada. I lived in 4 EU and 2Asian countries and I found that medical services are affordable and quite good compared to the US. Is Portugal really better than the US and Canada?

I'm an Indian, born and brought up in India. In 2019, my parents wanted me to go to Canada through the express entry program. My father had recently sold a property and we had a lumpsum amount of money to show in the bank account for this program. However, when I researched and saw that after a Master's degree in India, and while being paid well according to Indian standards I will have a difficulty finding job there even with 7+ years working in the IT sector. I found out that I might have to work in a restaurant in Canada before I could find a job that would suit my calibre, I was totally under a lot of stress. My family kept pushing, but I finally decided to put the money into buying a property in India. I think it's a better decision. I have maids who come to my place to cook and clean and not the other way around. I will never let my self esteem be hurt because I wanna chase some elusive dream. I think the practical thing is to stay here than go there.\nHowever, I am open to thoughts, correct me if I'm wrong.

Oh man, this all sounds very worrisome...\n\nI've been working together remotely with one of Sony Pictures Imageworks's supervisors and she's been super happy with me and my work. She's switching companies soon since she found an even better opportunity elsewhere and is already making steps getting me on the team. She starts the hiring process in August.\n\nShe said I should fix a holiday visa and that if the company is still happy with me after 12 months they would most likely sponsor my stay. So yeah, everything seemed pretty solid!\n\nBut now that I'm watching this video I'm getting scared that I might be missing something that wouldn't allow me to work there.
