I’m happy I watched this because I have been wondering about this depression wave that is in this country if I was the only one feeling it. All these points are valid. Don’t get me wrong canada is a beautiful place and give you access to learning and living with many different cultures which one of the things I love. But all these points these ladies stated just prove that I wasn’t just overthinking. Sometimes this place feels like an open prison tbh, specially Quebec which is the highest taxed province. It’s literally a life of work, pay your bills, feed yourself and work again. 2weeks vacation in a year of work, with 8 off days a month, isn’t enough for the brain and well being of someone. One find themselves doing everything under pressure because of the trauma that many jobs have created. People will walk under a storm, rain, thunder, you name it! just so they can earn that 130 a day.(using the minimum wage,). The gouvernement does it best to put all these programs in place, but no one want to always feel like your life is being controlled because you need a 1000$ check every month. People get tired of this dependency as well. The whole is thing is just depressing ?

The town I live in and grew up in when I was in school. We only had one campus, now here we are 18 years later and my one high school now has 4 different campuses to compensate for the amount of illegals that have overtaken my town. I have no prejudice whatsoever towards these people but they need to do things the right way and become real taxpaying citizens. Meaning going about gaining entry to this country and having a life here the legal way. You want to be here? That's fine welcome to the USA but just do it the right way is all we are asking you're not paying taxes. You're not putting back into the communities. And more than half of them that come here end up breaking the law and becoming criminals and the other half are already criminals. This country's being running to the ground.

There was this beautiful tree of apples people picked apples from the tree but nobody watered nobody feed nobody paid attention till they were trying to eat apples from her eventually the tree had no more cause people only took so nobody can eat from her.

Really there’s no difference between the people. The people are all the same whether you’re from Canada or the United States. All of your ancestors came from Europe. It makes me happy to see all the comments of legal immigrants to the US who are angered by this. Personally I have no issues with legal immigration from any country and I respect it and I'll break bread with you cuz your an American now like me. I think legal immigrants are a breath of fresh air and we can have some support coming from the Hispanic community against illegal immigration. Sm people think if your hard on illegal immigration your racist against Hispanics but that's not it at all. We need more legal immigrants with this mindset to help diversify the republican party and help to stop democrats from labeling it as a racist party. Now adays so many people aren't republican solely because they aren't white and think the democratic party is more favorable to anyone of color. But the republican party favors Americans period regardless of race. Illegal immigration is bad even if America was in a totally different place and bordered a white nation we still wouldn't want em in here just as much. If Canada had a curropt authoritan government and they were all illegally immigrating here than it'd be them we'd be having these disputes with. This is not a racial thing, this is about breaking the law and hurting the US economy.

I’m American and Canada ?? is awesome I love the people. Some of the best people I ever met. Strangers paying for my food all type of stuff. Shout out to all Canadians. I wanted to move there it’s just too cold, I’m from Michigan. That Canadian weather hits different ?. But it’s somewhat strange to me that America and Canada open there borders like that. When every other country doesn’t want foreigners but there people stay coming to our countries make it make sense.

I'm homeless, Navy Veteran and work full time. If housing programs can't help homeless Americans, how can we help immigrants. I want a home too. Update: I'll elaborate more on my situation. I served for four years. I lost my job as an Uber driver in 2018 after my car got repossessed. I live with my fiance who has PTSD from her family upbringing. She tries to work but she doesn't last long. We have gone to 3 different housing programs and they prove to be unhelpful. You make too much money from working they can't help you, if you make too little money they can't help you. WTF!!! All housing that is offered is usually in areas that are in high theft and homeless areas. People steal from you and you up right back in the streets. One program helped me become a fully trained security guard. We have also been in two car accidents, none were our fault. But now I'm stuck just living in a car and working full time. After I work all night I drive around at gas stations, asking people for money for gas and food. Every check I get goes to gas, food and bills. We manage our money wisely. Our money last a day and then we have to go straight back to asking for money again. Everyone I have asked for help is always a broken promise. I don't know what to do anymore.

So they're arrested and given a ride to another border crossing where they will be processed just like everyone else who's crossing? And the people who didn't cross at Roxham Road had to walk or pay for transport to get to the other location? Other than that, no actual difference, right? Still the same amount of people still coming in?

Canada can't keep their integrity and they talk about India's Punjab .... Yes and if these people truly believed in God and Jesus they wouldn't run from their countries but actually stay on the ground and stand strong in their faith that God and Jesus are going to help them persevere through all this. As a fully disabled American citizen with a child that doesn't even get $1,000 a month and there's no available housing at all where I live no waiting list to go on people on SSI disability don't get any extra housing help we're not offered separate housing are put on separate lists and low-income Able Body people or the migrants jumping the Border but I was born and raised here paid taxes and worked until my body literally couldn't anymore but I don't hear anybody bitching and screaming and crying about the fact that my son and I would be on the streets if it hadn't been for one of my family members stepping up and giving his housing after a lifetime restraining order issued during my pregnancy on my son's biological do do with domestic abuse situation. And my life turned upside down this Friday by illegal immigrants here in Louisiana. They ran a red light, smash my car, totaled it. While running from border patrol and customs. I counted eight people running out of the vehicle and not one gave two shits to check on me, even though I was injured. Seven of them got away the only one they caught was a 14 year old Honduran child that claimed amnesty. So vehicle which they stole, which had stolen license plate, and apparently was full of stolen tools all was seized. The owners will be lucky if they get anything back since it is being held as evidence. I was told by My Attorney chances are my insurance will not pay me in full for my vehicle. Also, I only have a few payments on my car left, and I’m forced to pay it even though now I have no vehicle to get to work, because all my equity is tied up in it, funny thing is I recognize this kid from one of the jobsites down the street. They literally beat me in a bid on. Mind you only buy $400 differences I’m having to pay taxes it’s a joke when you say these people take jobs and no one else wants thing is it’s not jobs no one else wants it’s jobs that have become jobs. No one wants because of the pay continues to fall prices continue to increase, everyone thinks he’s illegal immigrants make no money on these jobsites most of them have nicer vehicles and live in nicer places than the guys I know. The Democrats who are used to vote for because I thought they were for the workingman have completely switched. Their allegiance is to the large corporations that just want to drive down competition and raise their profit margins. They don’t care about America. They want a global economic system in which we have to compete with people that are willing to do the same work as us for a little less because they don’t have to pay what we have to pay and they go back to their countries and live like kings where our dollar buys a lot. They literally use their influence and corruption to take down Trump‘s administration because he was actually doing something about America’s problems. What a damn shame it’s time to change the system. If you’re not voting for a Bernie Sanders or Trump you might as well not voted off because you will get no change. Frankly, I think Bernie Sanders is a terrible choice, but it beats Joe Biden, because at least Bernie Sanders does care. Trump 4 more years!!!!

They should’ve started firing, rubber bullets into the crowd, and if that didn’t work, real bullets. We don’t have enough housing and resources for the people that are here already. We're polite and nice until we're taken advantage of or treated like an idiot! Kindness is important, but doing what's morally right is more important to me personally! So if that means me speaking up or calling out bs when I see it, I will! I do believe in giving each person their own clean slate. I adjust according to the person! That just means I don't assume anything about a person based on race, the job they have, the car they drive, how they look, the clothes they wear. Those things have no bearing on how I choose friends! It's all about the content of one's character! I do keep to myself most of the time but strive to be kind and polite when I'm around others! But everyone is different. You will run into aholes anywhere you go! Canada is NO EXCEPTION. You have to be careful still about how you move. For example as an indigenous woman I don't go out alone after dark. You can't just trust anyone and leave yourself vulnerable because you never known what someone's intentions are. You can find people that are so unkind. You can also find some of the nicest people in the world here. I imagine the same can be said about any country. Our government certainly doesn't represent us personally. We all have our own personalities and lives! And I don't judge others based on their race religion or their government at home! When I was a kid there was no shortage of people letting me know I'd never amount to anything. So yeah you can find aholes anywhere you go! Please don't leave yourself vulnerable and assume everyone here has good intentions! Especially if you travel alone! We still have a lot of issues you probably never heard of! You have to be careful anywhere you go! ❤

Are they sending people who don’t qualify as legitimate asylum seekers back? Or do they just give these people papers and voila! Not to mention, there’s a lot of aliens, that did it the right way, and all of these illegal aliens are taking cuts. Our border is in complete and total shambles. CNN please please please have somebody down at the southern border every day, at different points of entry, and report on that. There is operational control at the border, but it’s by the cartels not the US government. I live in a border state, I have watched this my whole life. I have never seen it like it is right now.
