true joke! quebec's first! i stay there, we have the worst roads, i think bagdad is better , worst hospitals et medical services, worst services at all, quebec is one of the poorest province, thanks to the high level of taxes. the liscence plate say in french : Je me souviens! ( i remember). that should say : i remember that you still have some money with you and i want it.

Canada; another stolen land where the British and French continue to occupy the ancestral lands of the genocided indigenous people… and Afrikans should be aware of this and group with the real natives of those lands!

If Quebec wasn't so hostile towards Non-French speakers it would be my number 1 choice but all the anti-English laws, lack of availability for non-French speakers, and general rude anti-outsider behavior really puts a hamper on its growth. I'm more than willing to learn French but if it means dealing with daily abuse from the locals then its a pass.

I do have to say if you're actually worried about the cold as a factor in moving to Canada it is way less than you think. In Southern Ontario it gets to be -40C about 3-4 times a winter, and in the summer it gets to 40C 3-4 times a summer, so we have pretty diverse weather, what you should worry about is how many different kinds of clothes you'll need to buy to actually go through the four seasons.\n\nJust a quick note on Quebéc, even if you did learn french you will most likely be yelled at in french as they are for the most part very protective of french Canada and see themselves as a different country, they don't like other people very much, and the french is different to french french. Cool place to visit but not so much to live in.

I've got to agree, Québec is the number one province in Canada. I've lived in most of the great cities of the world; Montréal is first in my mind, pocket, and belly (food, French and every other culture!) ... safe, cultured, and temperate in climate (once you get through windy and cold January and February!). The (McGill Univ.) health system is arguabbly the largest, most diverse and effective in the world!

It would probably help his case if he was learned English and or French

I love cold weather myself. Work outside in construction. Father's side is French Canadian from Quebec. I'd move back to Canada if it weren't for the insane taxes and becoming more communist thanks to Trudick. But hockey ? ? culture for me, growing up, and even now, is more important than religion. Same with winter sports, adventure and the outdoors. Canada...love the land, sports, climate...but it's the government there that makes it miserable now.

Just listen to the crappy gutter quality of French the racist bloke was speaking in - obviously some crude and uneducated SOB - brings shame to all Quebeccers.
2022-09-02 0
That 20% French-speaking seems way off how many people live in Quebec lol ?

I hate the french empire, they're like grumpy old trolls

Pay close attention to what the neighbour did. She saw her neighbour, who couldn’t speak French being harassed. She used her French ability to defend her neighbour. This is what being a neighbour and being an ally look like.

I think that now Quebec should be ranked lower because of the laws the province has passed which discriminate against non-French speakers
2022-08-22 0
A duty to speak french, hahahahaha, oh Quebec.
2022-08-21 1
I don't understand racist nationalistic French Canadians like this. France lost, and the British let them stay and even made their language an official language. Given that context, this randomly targeted racist behavior is a very embarrassing faux pas.
2022-08-19 6
So the French attack other immigrants? That’s rich
2022-08-19 1
I wouldve agreed with Quebec as #1 but the last time I visited Montreal, I was walking around downtown with my headphones on and got thrown pieces of garbage at me. I don’t understand french but I am my friend does and he told me to walk faster. Later I learned it was because I was wearing a Toronto Maple Leafs Jersey. Smh

He was bad mouthing the fact they they weren't speaking French. Not sure that's a hate crime...lol that old fool couldn't knock over a house of cards.
2022-08-18 2
Wow French Canadians are rude and abusive to non French Canadians.\n\nThat's definitely NOT NEWS
2022-08-18 1
Just move here, and we'll digest your children into a francophone education, so you don't have to learn French if you don't want: as long as you have the proper values to fit with the heart of western civilization.

In Canada it is English and French not English and Spanish

as an ontarian, quebec is by far the best province, when i went there it was absolutely beautiful, i loved every second of it, there was tons of snow and it was like a winter wonderland, i know french cause so the language issue wasn't a problem, if any American wants to take a vacation to canada quebec is the place
2022-08-10 0
no offence but the women are abit rough looking or french lol
2022-08-08 0
As someone from new brunswick who's lived in quite a few towns and cities in the province growing up, it's only ideal to learn french if you're living in the northern half of the province and even then you can still easily get by with english only. :)
2022-07-30 0
Learn English or French for Quebec before you come here or don’t complain you can’t get a job!
2022-07-23 3
I was born in the French capital, Paris. Believe it or not, we still have our birth certificates from the country. I would seriously consider going back to France, even if the argument is it's not that great (compared to who you talk to). Also, I'm an author, and living in the Toronto area can be depressing. For me, it's about the culture, the language, the food, and the lifestyle.

The one thing that stops Canada being a great country is the French langauge. I have been to Vancouver many times since 1990 and the real second language of Canada is Manderin Chinese. It is only federal staff in BC who have a smattering of French.
2022-07-20 0
You can learn French there too, not only English.
2022-07-11 0
I have heard the French are very rude in Quebec, in fact my elderly aunt was spat at when visiting there.
2022-07-01 1
I think you got the order all mixed up but me being from east coast and all these provinces ranking so low I wanna argue it but won't as I'm content with eastern Canada being left amazing I currently live in Ontario it's wonderful up north southern Ontario is crowded and costly bc is amazing and as stated costly except a cpl spots where it's really bad price wise or crime etc but really Quebec is ranked #1 lol good joke it's a beautiful place and some great ppl but so many ignorant french ppl turn me big time if I lived there I'd learn to speak french but they're rude to English but it's their language too otherwise it is great there but lang barrier for anything at worst random times I'd pass on

As a indigenous Canadian. Why doesn’t she go back to her ancestors country? Like England, Scotland or whatever European country her ancestors are from. We indigenous Canadians are the real Canadians. Not you. And I hope that lady realizes that English is not the only language in Canada. French is also a official language

Stay away from this hell hole country it's full of commies not to mention that you'll get ripped off on basically anything and everything you buy and sell from housing to cars to gas to insurance even groceries the government turns a blind eye on corporations so they can Ripp off the hard working people and they can collect more taxes \nin return you get the worst health care the worst roads specially in Quebec \nstupid french language laws even french language police\nthe harshest winters in the world on top of that\ncommunist corrupt useless government that doesn't care about it's citizens\nbottom line if you value your mental health and sanity don't move to this horrible country

He doesn't even speak English and he wants to move to Canada? Canada's official languages are French and English. Tired of illegal immigrants thinking it's okay to just show up

Holy crap! This channel is amazing! I am trying to find my way as an American through the process of moving to Montreal and the content here is invaluable! I am looking for software development opportunities in Montreal primarily in English. I am learning French now, but will probably not be proficient enough to work in a job that requires me to be bilingual. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!
2022-06-16 0
Quebec is also French, they won't speak English so it is not number one.
2022-06-16 0
quebec is just french florida
2022-06-14 0
Let's not forget Quebec gets over $13 billion a year from Alberta to pay for that francophone entitlement! I think AB is definitely number one, Alberta has a more diversified economy than people give it credit for and the people are way nicer than Quebec! Calgary is known as the big little town where you can meet people so easily unlike the clicky francophones. Coming from a canadian who speaks french.
2022-06-14 0
I agree with the list except for Quebec. As an ex-Quebecer, I would rate that shit hole the worst place to live. They discriminate against everyone who isn't French. Also, they have the highest tax rate in Canada. Plus French is a language that doesn't make any sense. Why have gender for objects?
2022-06-13 1
i doubt quebec should be #1 with its taxes and french policies bullshit. id rather live in alberta if i could. (im french and from quebec)
2022-06-12 0
Quebec is extremely beautiful. I love visiting there. But for an average Canadian two phrases dominate when you hear the word Quebec: 400 cms of snow and language police. If you're a winter sports enthusiast and francophone its paradise. If you're anglophone that likes warm weather, you'll probably get both best by leaving before you lose your job for not speaking French at work.
2022-06-12 0
I would like to move to Quebec…but french is such a pain to learn
2022-06-04 0
Don’t agree, have to speak French. B.C. Is better
2022-06-01 0
Quebec...get right. I was born in that hell-hole and as an English kid growing up in the highly separatist east end of Montreal my childhood was miserable. The french are so bent on having their own little country they treated anglos like dirt. Try driving east towards New Brunswick and stopping anywhere to get food or whatever, you better parlez the francais or you'll be looked at like you a criminal. How dare you speak the hinglich au Quebec. Best province my ass. They don't even consider themselves a part of Canada. Take the once named St. Jean Baptiste holiday on June 24th, it's now la fete nationale. Sure sounds Canadian right! You got your list upside down, this video is garbage.
2022-05-27 0
I wouldn't suggest you go to quebec as a anglophone cuz the francophones won't welcome you and will be rude in most cases. But hey if you speak french quebec is your best bet. You will also get PR very fast.
2022-05-16 0
You don't have to learn French to move to New Brunswick, as long as you stay in south of the province. The more north you go the more French it gets.
2022-05-15 0
The biggest downfall of Quebec is French and potholes….

I'm from Quebec and i love every Provinces, in 2017 i did a roadtrip to BC and when you see Canada for the first time by road it's just amazing to see how big Canada is: Canola field, Bison, endless horizon, mountains, blue lakes, awesome people from coast to coast, salty water smell when your near the sea of coastal province, beautiful roads apart from Quebec just kidding but not really....My friend and i stop at a A&W in Saskatchewan on Transcanadian Hwy and next to our seat was a group of farmer just relaxing and talking about their day and we would have love to just pay them a drink or something to just listen to their story what they have to say but we were a bit to shy because of the french accent and didn't want to bother them! For me every Provinces of Canada are the best no need for TOP10.

So.... The #1 province in Canada is also the one province that threatened to leave Canada on how many occassions?? Referendum in 1980, another in 1995, and..also one in 1919...when they first wanted to separate. The Quebec gov't treats Anglos that live there like 2nd class citizens and pass out language fines if French isn't displayed 2x as large on storefront signs...English family speaking kids cannot attend public schools in English, all are taught in French. There are only 3 english speaking higher education schools out of 17 universities and over 70 colleges.\nImmigrants have 6 months to learn French in that province, after that, correspondence with the gov't is all in French.\nAhh...Plus...\nHow many political and social organizations are there in this province that actually PROMOTE the separation and outright superiority of Quebec over the rest of Canada? \n\nFrench supremacist much??\n\n?\nRiiiiiiighttttt....

Throughout the decades, Quebecers have voted in legions of woefully ignorant politicians who understand virtually nothing of the day to lives of the people they purport to represent and politicians that have never wavered in their misguided attempts to create disharmony amongst citizens in the name of protecting the French language which should have been an integral part of the education system from the beginning. Most people get along very well with one another and; politics aside and as one who has travelled extensively throughout Canada, I concur with Quebec being the number one best province to live in. On the other hand, if you are part of the native population throughout Canada which has been treated criminally and shamelessly by all that came later and will still be seeking completion of restitution for culture, freedom, land and life that was taken from you and your forebears a century from now, I totally appreciate that you may be offended by this entire exercise.
