If all the trees in Canada obsorb the1.5%of the CO2 ten times over how come we have a carbon tax? Does CO2 stop at all the worlds borders or doe's it cross over and our trees are taking up CO2 for other countries who don't pay carbon tax. If we remove the CO2 from the air what will the trees have to make us our oxygen for us to breath? How come money isn't being used on Methane from the land fills.It's 26% of the GHG causing climate change.Why doe's Canada and it's people need to be the ones to set an example for the rest of the world when we produce a very small amount of CO2? Maybe the rest of the large CO2 producers need to be paying us for carbon capture because we take care of our trees. \n \n \n \nReply

even my country is doing this mistake , you could have made around 1.4 k euro as a food delivery guy now because a of indians came here a lot of the people that worked those jobs quit and moved abroad again , and this indians make about 700 euros but they pleased because they have housing and food given so they sent all the money back wich is like 3 salaries there probably , this sort of imigration is not sustainable

I'm gonna make this real simple; Canada's open door policy to accept all the world's problems is turning Canada into a third world country. We manage our resources piss poorly by giving far too much away while depending on over-inflated price gouging foreign resources. In the eyes of our own government Canadians are no longer people, just life-long tax payers, and the middle class is now almost non-existent.

I moved to Canada as a child with my parents 41 years ago. It isn't just inflation and cost of living that is the problem. It's the dramatically increasing racism and discrimination, even against people who have been living in this country longer than the racists discriminating against them. Seriously? This is not the Canada that I came to as a child, grew up in, or have lived and worked in for many decades. I made the mistake of working around the world for a short time and picking up an accent that wasn't even mine originally. I had a Canadian accent before finishing elementary school. To come back to be asked to go home or 'we don't want your sort here' is not just simple racism, but hatred that makes me regret ever having agreed to taking on Canadian citizenship. My kids and grandchildren have Canadian accents and were Canadians from birth. But should they leave and return to the same crap??? What disgusts me more is that the PM dares to include immigrants with refugees, under the banner that 30% of the population are immigrants. Under the law, refugees are temporary migrants and usually nothing more. To bundle immigrants who came to Canada through legal means of applications, brought hundreds of millions dollars into Canada with them of their own hard-earned money from their own countries, to have it taxed out of them, and their families deliberately put into poverty so Canada can fulfil its 19th century-PM Macdonald immigration policy of, and I quote from a Canadian federal government website, quoting PM Macdonald directly, about breeding out the Indigeneous people, is beyond sick! The refugees get a free ride at the expense of hard-working Canadians, 90% of whom came from immigrant stock! What happens when Trudeau says these deceitful lies about legal immigrants is that the racism and discrimination increases dramatically. I have been left in agony in hospital due to evil racist Canadians who thought that my accent meant that I had just flown in yesterday and what right did I have to be there? Police refused to charge a neighbor whose son was threatening the life of my grandchild because the neighbor works for the CRA! Other people have the same complaints. Democracy? What democracy, oh, and please spare us Mr. Trudeau the claim to be a constitutional monarchy, when most don't want the monarchy as a head of state for Canada! I have been honored to have known, still know, and will know in the future, many good, hard-working, caring and decent Canadians, but Mr. Trudeau, can you explain to me, how many of those were actually of immigrant stock and how many have forgotten where their families came from? Canada used to be a good country, but when a person has to keep explaining where they got their job experience from and if they have any Canadian experience for every time that they look for a job in their lifetime in Canada, something is very wrong with Canada. Most jobs in Canada are blue collar and very few are white collar, yet Canada still continues to deceive the world into believing otherwise. Canada is a great vast and beautiful land, but only a small percentage of it has any infrastructure, roads, or homes sufficient to house what is a decreasing fraction of society. Refugees take preference over immigrants and citizens alike. The lie about the homeless is getting bigger. Most homeless Canadians today are veterans, elderly, disabled, mentally ill, poor, and professionals and trades people, yet Canada brings in countless professionals, claiming that their education and experience will get them into the professions that they are coming from. It's all a scam! Canadian education is not the best and yet people with better educations and job experience are being forced to spend all their money to go back to university or college to get jobs that they rarely will be hired for. Canada is not short of doctors, just short of professionals who hire professionals without using discrimination, hatred and racism for their HR kit! Many taxi drivers are doctors, engineers, and so on. So, please stop lying to the world and tell the truth. And no doubt this entry will be taken down because it offends a Canadian who doesn't want the world to know the truth.

in Canada we have a large issue with the racism and hate from the USA coming into Canada to the point people are okay with politicians saying they will take rights away from entire groups of people just because it might make their life easier, we also have a country that is now run by corporations and not the people

Our corrupt system allows the elected party to make key decisions. Turdeau isn't making a mistake. It's INTENTIONAL. Mass immigration into western countries is part of the depopulation agenda. It drives up hyperinflation, social conflicts, destroys the middle class, makes people easier to control.

700,000 of the 1.1 million that came to Canada are students. The international student system needs to be overhauled. The university/colleges who want international students must register with the feds. Those with permits MUST BE MADE to build, own, and provide international students with housing. When an international student is offered a placement in a Canadian education institution, they are also offered housing built by that institution. Once acceptance is made, then the details are sent to the feds and the visa is finally issued. This way, everyone who comes, has housing, it takes pressure off the domestic housing market, the students themselves know where they are going to be and how much things will cost, including the housing, and the Canadian institutions who want the stdents, have to now pay for them. This will force the education institutions to build more housing, lower the number of students they bring in, and offer much more remote learning opportunities if the program really does not require the students to come at all. Pass the bill onto the institutions, and the problem will quickly resolve. The federal government is being LAZY. If it wants people, it has to focus on a system that makes sense for people to come to Canada, insure the institutions dont take advantage of these students AND NOT shift the housing problem to the domestic market. The federal and provincial governments also need to organize themselves with each other. The provinces should tell the federal government how many they can take in based on housing stock and unemployment rate, and the feds only grant visas based on those numbers, and the visas require those coming to be in the province that has space for them. This way, you help to take pressure off the larger cities and spread growth to areas of the country that wants the growth. The approach needs to be bottom up, so needs and capacity drive the numbers allowed in.

it's the immigration policy. It's changing the cultural landscape of the country and making it less friendly, less safe, and more stressful and competitive. People are too afraid of being called a racist or biggot and we're going broke because of it. I'm a resident of Canada for the past 40 years and I've seen the negative changes. It's not nearly as of high trust society as it used to be. It used to be quaint and free, now it's stressful and shitty.

I came to Canada as a toddler in 2001 and it was like a dream come true for someone from a poor 3rd world country. But as of 10 years ago, the quality of life as well as the quality of services has just been getting worse and worse. As an immigrant myself, i know i shouldn't be saying this, but we seriously need to put immigration at a halt so that the current inhabitants can pick themselves up.\n-The job market is in a crisis, you can have a Masters Degree and still make less than 50K a year\n-We're facing an economic crisis where the cost of living is higher than what you're making (Low-class & Middle-class)\n-Free Healthcare is no longer worth paying for but we have no choice because majority can't afford to pay for Private.\n-Education level is a joke in comparison to Asia and Europe.\n-Most people are too old to even realize that they're voting for the wrong parties to run the country.\n-Depression rate is higher than ever. Satisfaction of life is plummeting, Suicide rate slowly increasing every year.\n-Public services are becoming more expensive, which once used to be Canada's greatest selling point.\n-No one wants to work the jobs that are available and in demand because immigrants are getting to pick and choose.\n-Properties are being bought out by foreigners thus raising the price for citizens who can't afford to buy anymore.\n-Birth rate and relationship satisfaction is slowly declining giving immigrant families access to Citizen status facilities.

Canada has issues and opportunities. You need to look into it before make the decision of moving to Canada. Sadly there are many people or businesses that only want to take advantage of young professionals or young students. The country is very expensive even for locals. The minimum wage is no enough to live comfortable and as a full time student you wont be able to work full time. So take your time and do an honest analysis weather if you have the money and spirit to come to Canada. It is a great country, but definitely it's NOT for everyone.

I came to Canada as an immigrant in 2020 and immediately went back to my original country. However, I feel sorry for the nice people of Canada that unfortunately don't have other choices. You feel that the Canadian system is designed to make people poor.

At the start of the video there were statements made that the immigration: foreign workers and international students - is putting a strain on the Canadian safety net. When the narrator was talking about homeless population there was a video piece showing opinions of some of the homeless people. Are those homeless people immigrants? If not how can you use that video piece to support your point?\n\nThere was also a chart showing how shelter occupancy grew in Toronto and how expensive it is to buy a house in Toronto. Toronto is not the whole country, you can’t make it seem like the whole country can’t “afford immigrants” because housing in Toronto is expensive.\n\nI view this report as an opinion piece: there were some statements made at the beginning but as the video progressed no evidence was provided to support those statements.\n\nI agree that there are problems that are tied to immigration in Canada but you can’t just state something without providing a factual evidence showing how immigration is linked to the problems covered in the video. This looks like cherry picking, not journalism.

People made a lot of money during the peak of economy all over the world…now they are on vacation…because they saw the recession coming because production halted due to the corona virus…banks lowered the borrowing rates to keep the economy going…only the greedy with no knowledge of economic cycles, people who didn’t invest and the retirees are suffering…and that is a global trend…of course the Indian state funded news channel will continue to defame Canada while everyone is suffering all over the world…atleast the western countries delayed the recession through money printing….this channel was saying beat a steel plate to make corona go away from India which the Indian PM suggested ???

Healthcare costs spending in Euro counties isn’t a fair comparison because it ignores the nature of the geography. Canada is the 2nd largest country on earth by land area and much of the country is made of smaller, remote regions where it is beyond expensive to render heath care services onto the population. There isn’t a single Euro country with a population as spread out as Canada. I wish more people would move closer to urban centres so that it is cheaper to render services to them, but the fact is, you won’t find a single Euro country that deals with providing care to these extremely remote towns that make up so much of Canada. We have entire provinces that are mostly comprised of remote, hard to access towns. It’s just an unfortunate fact of the nature of where we live.

This lack of access to health care is a new thing. I agree with your assessment. It now seems lonelier in Toronto. \n\nCanada used to be different because anyone with a good job could afford at least a condo, but life became unaffordable not just for immigrants, but for everyone unless you are in your 50s-60s and own a home. \n\nI have friends working double jobs supporting family back home in other countries, but for some of them the family back home sound like they are doing better than them and own a home. It’s like they are sacrificing their life to be in poverty or full of hardships and their families get to go out for dinners and drinks with friends. Not them. Not true for everyone, but for some yes and I worry about their own retirement because retirement in Canada without lots of savings means you might be homeless or forced to live with family even if it’s not your preference. \n\n without investments and savings, it will be hard to beat inflation. Getting into debt and getting bad credit can mean not getting an apartment. \n\nThe birth rate is going down because it is expensive to have kids and income isn’t enough to match with living costs. Getting help from government is really not something everyone gets access too. One person might get housing support, 10 others may get nothing. Different governments offer different things. Programs end and change often. \n\nIn Canada definitely bargain and shop around for good phone plans. one idea is to get a pay as you go until “Black Friday” then every year or two when your good offer expires there will be many others. It’s the time with the best deals saving almost half. For instance, I have 50 gigs for $25 for two years from a large provider. Telephone companies are the one place where people must bargain and even ask for better deals as a must.\n\nThe people you see living in big houses, will have kids that can’t afford the same. This is because prices keep rising. The system protects the very rich, but will also drain the middle class often within 1-2 generations. Do not link your business to your personal finance, or creditors can take your home. Some not knowing this lose everything and rich people know better. \n\nPeople live until they are very old, so inheritance is pretty much meaningless to rely on, so no matter what your parents have you must hustle in life. \n\nI do think Canada can become what we want over time. Citizens need to fight the trend of great community spaces, restaurants and bars going out of business and dumb corporations move in with bad boring restaurants. Like a McDonald’s where maybe a popular cultural hang out was. \n\nPart of the problem is a lack of mixed income housing areas, so it’s hard to stay living where you grew up. Artists and musicians help make a city great, but many cannot afford to live here.\n\nFamilies and communities staying together means more support for those with young kids and older relatives when they need help. Yet how is this possible in a city that is always pushing out lower income people when wealthier people desire the area. \n\nIn Toronto, every time you move you have to take what is available and that might mean moving an hour away from everyone you know. This weakens communities. Plus, if you live too far from your work you will have no time to socialize for most the week due to travel time. \n\nI think those who grew up in Toronto do have a certain culture of acceptance with others from many cultures, because your friends at school were from all over. But with new migrants sometimes it isn’t until the second generation that their social circles get diverse. This can be isolating and it’s even isolating as those from Toronto eventually leave dreaming of staying in one spot and not forced to move constantly when a landlord investor sells every house you move into. \n\n\nToronto really needs to protect affordability of housing for at least some housing in every section so that people can save money if they live in the city, and not have to leave their communities and be far from their friends and family. \n\notherwise eventually people get sick of the hustle and it’s too tiring to travel 1+ hrs each way to visit someone during Monday to Friday. \n\n20 years ago any professional could at least buy a condo. Not today. There is too much competition now and investors are allowed to buy up all the most affordable housing that once was a pathway to owning a home. \n\nRich policy makers got greedy and destroyed canada and hopefully diversity in leadership will help make Canada better. But they perhaps people knew to Canada can reject this lonely structure and help us rebuild Toronto into an amazing place. \n\nWe need to make sure everyone can afford housing with 30% of their income. I feel like moving as a lifelong Canadian. I love people and love culture. I don't like extremists. \n\nMy problem is simply I don't our government is ethical nor caring to it's citizens, and as far as immigrants go, I am absolutely all for it with a reasonable rate without displacement or a negative sum on people that have built families here already. You can't just say we want to help and not give one thought about implications whatsoever. \n\nWhere I live you can't add thousands of people without thinking about making roards wider or more busses.\n\nWe don't look like idiots, we are. Let's welcome a host of new beautiful people into out country and not have a single plan in place besides pay for their housing (not necessarily bad), pay for their transportation (not necessarily bad), and allow a rent bubble to put our welcoming citizens with Trades to live in tents.\n\nHow about this as a sane alternative, the billions of dollars in road tax from gas prices which hasn't improved the roads, and the billions from legalized gambling...how about we audit our government and take a hard and difficult look as to where all this tax money goes, and more importantly the detailed justification? \n\nSame thing, same day. Canada has to be corrupt as the day is long OR our greatness was built on an history of lies. I came in Windsor Ontario as a foreign worker in 2009, wasn't the best time to look for a job there but still. I did 1 year of studying, worked again, left for Alberta in 2012 where I still am. Got my PR in 2014 and citizenship in 2022. Most of the things I hear against living in Canada must be true, I don't doubt it but I'm just not aware of them. I didn't even know there was a bank account freezing during COVID. It wasn't easy to get a good job, I had to leave for a small community in Alberta to get the most of what I wanted and that's why I am oblivious to the harsher reality that people have to endure in Toronto or Vancouver. But the thing is, as soon as I landed in Toronto and got robbed 50$ by some guy (this is just an anecdote not the real reason), I knew I shouldn't try to make a living there. I know job opportunities are in those big cities but please, if you can, there are great communities that need people, workers, consumers and families. If you can land a job there, move! At least try. It doesn't even have to be that far up north, nor to be a mini small village. Small city, rural living, no criminality, cheap housing, lots of space, family friendly, no traffic, no wait time to see a doctor, friendly people, douchebags, we have it here. Are they drawbacks? Yes of course. Need to drive 1 or 2 hour to get a scan or an MRI, car dependance is exacerbated but hey, it feels like a free country where no one have been overpriced...yet.

Trudeau our P.M. is really the problem, since this man came into power 8 years ago, he has spent our money helping China and other countries while ignoring its own citizens. His plan is to make Canada a communist regiem and distroy all our freedoms!!! Who ln their right minds want to live like that? People are loosing their homes at an alarming rate, and there will be more homeless then ever before. We are so far in debt. that only God can help us now, and thats another thing, christians are now under more persecution then ever before.

This country has never been good lived here for 38 years in small towns and the small towns are exsesivly criminal cult like and act like independent countries seperate from Canada I have had many family members die from lack of health care and I myself spent 6 years being sick with no diagnosis and malked and patronized the entire time took 5 years to find out I had a leasion in my stomach and almost 7 to find out I had a hiadious hurnea I was a happy home owner and was forced out of my house by fraud which I have proof of so one of the cool kids could have a house police in this country and you can just google the amount of times people have reported to police and nothing was done the biggest criminal organization is the police and just like they did to the Mofia made Reco laws they need to bring out new laws for charging corrupt criminal lazy incompatant police because there are millions of them out court systems are a joke I tried a civil prosecution against people who have committed crimes against me and was denied to go infront of a judge because I was part native and had proof of white crime I'm a 20 licensed mechanic and have to live in my car because I can't afford rent or a house have a 100 grand invested in tools and a tool box and have the choice to starve to death or live in my car and eat I hate living and working in this country as Canada has no work place standards and the labour board is corrupt and takes bribes instead of charging business owners example east way blew up killing six people in Ottawa nation's capital I had friends who worked for that companies and reported it it has hundreds of complaints to the labour board and nothing was done and six people died I have worked for two employers who have had death in the work place and almost died three times in the work place with proof one time I was struck in the head by a sledge hammer almost killing me another reason I hate working in this country is the monopoly it is employers pay and do the bare minimum example I produce 40 to 60 thousand dollars of work every two weeks out of Wich 20 to 30 thousand is profit for the owner I make not even two percent of that profit and all services in Canada are fake useless and a run by under educated lazy incompatant people go canada

Country were you pay tons of taxes, but you don’t get good medical care, they make you wait and don’t have enough medical staff to help people.\n\nYou get underpaid, the salaries don’t keep up with cost of living.\n\nA country where you don’t elect your prime minister. It is just the clown that happens to be the leader of the party that gets more seats in the parliament.\n\nAlso you need to ask for government permission even for doing stuff in your own property. It’s a scam for sure I’ll be planning my escape from Canada before I get too old and break a bone in the winter because I slipped on ice I didn’t see because the city didn’t clean the sidewalk properly.

A lot of immigrants to Canada have no intention of making Canada their home. They want the passport and citizenship status to have as a status in their own country. Often these people speak of how lame they find Canada to be and how little they could care about what Canada is as a country and a nation. Our Government doesn't care about making the qualifications to becoming Canadian a more profound commitment. The Federal government leaves the cost and the burden of assimilation on the Canadian tax payers so they don't care. The government makes their money.

Until 2020 (pandemic), most lifelong Canadians would have proudly & quickly said Canada is a great place. For multiple generations (young & old). It still is in many ways. But like all countries, a bunch of things have made life more difficult lately. \n \nDuring the COVID lockdowns, many people went wild wanting to buy a house (urban & rural). Increasing demand and rising prices. Not long after, inflation caused mortgage rates especially to rise. Rent costs soared too. People interested in working in hospitals declined. Less doctors etc.. \n \nSimultaneously in Canada, the number of people coming by air, land and boat to claim asylum skyrocketed. For example, in 2023 alone, in just one region (Central Canada) around 400 people arrived per day (on average). Ditto for other populated provinces. Also the number of international students SKYROCKETED too. In 2023, averaging around 2,000 per day across Canada. Years 2021 and 2022 had high #s too. \n \nThe majority trying to migrate to Canada recently have been from South Asia. And it's become extremely obvious to Canadians. Even those that are very used to much diversity & many cultures. Plus neighborhoods now know that international students are using schooling as a 'back door' ticket to come to Canada for permanent residency. No one says it in public amongst strangers, but everyone knows because they've witnessed the extreme PR frenzy firsthand by now. To many Canadians it has felt like a tidal wave that has reached all cities and small towns, with a post secondary school. This extreme situation never existed prior to 4 years ago.\n \nHospitals have been hit with many wanting free healthcare. Less doctors/nurses etc., means greater waiting times. Plus a VERY SEVERE HOUSING CRISIS has occurred in many western countries including in Canada. In ways not seen in people's lifetimes. And if you do find a place to live its quite expensive. Including small basement rooms. \n \nNow westerners want the money greedy agents (pseudo smugglers) in other countries to stop marketing & LYING to their own people about access to PR or citizenship … or accommodation/jobs … being easy (to get). And for any greedy people living in western countries to be ashamed of themselves if they're hurting students. Anyone doing things to make $ off of people's PR desires. At best, there is a 25% chance of gaining PR (better odds if you are masters/medicine etc.). \n \nNot all players across the board have acted honestly over the years, i.e. contract marriages (IELTS spouse), anchor babies, fraud, false asylum claims. Canada has asked the India government to prevent “ghost consulting”. The new PRIVATE (non-public) colleges are being investigated (including looking for strong oversea ties). \n \nCanadians are meeting students who told Canada they have enough $, but it turns out they borrowed it (some borrowed it for the application process only). Canadian food banks and other CHARITY services have been recklessly advertised on YouTube (by India students in Indian language). Many transit services have launched stricter rules, i.e. lost monthly bus passes registered in your name are now never replaced (unlike before). \n \nThen this year throw in all the Palestinian vs Israeli angry protests happening regularly in cities. Plus the Sikh vs Hindu violence/extortion mostly happening in Ontario and British Columbia. Plus the Canadian government also recently launched investigations in regards to foreign interference in Canadian elections. All stemming from Asia continent. Hate crimes have gone from rare to occasional (primarily South Asians against South Asians). \n \nCanadians are so so so so so not used to all this. So many, who have embraced multi-culturalism and immigration for decades are now VERY worried and fearful (due to all of the above). And all are praying it doesn't turn into great anger (like in the USA). \n \nCanadians want multi-culturism to succeed … and for all people (including immigrants) to be okay. Everyone I know is VERY happy with Canada Immigration's recent changes (reductions & investigations). Including multi-generational long-term Asian-Canadians where many have been the most upset (by all of this).

Funny how they want to blame immigration. Jobs are everywhere but employers know that immigrants are more disciplined, hard working and appreciative of the opportunities provided, when compared to the average Canadian-born citizen. I've seen it first hand. \n \nOh and, the influx of Indian immigration boosted Canada's GBP by $20 Billion, last I checked. America is a good example, Indians and Pakistanis are the most successful ethnic group, everyone else is behind. Not only that, but they have to work TWICE as hard to get HALF of what their white counterparts do. \n\nAlso, lets not forgot how unsympathetic white America was when black Americans were going through the crack epidemic. They didn't get a shred of the support that's being given out today, instead it was jail. \n\nWhite Privilege is very real and especially in countries like Canada and the United States. If white people fall through the cracks this hard en masse in a society that makes it easiest for them to succeed, then it's truly over. The decline will continue.

I truly believe this all revolves around the housing crisis. Not enough housing can be built. Canadians with options are not taking low-income jobs. It's not a survivable wage anymore. Canada's #1 GDP is Real Estate. Potential first-time home buyers are not willing to throw themselves into a lifetime debt for a weak economy. \n\nSo what does Canada do? Fill these vacancies with immigrants. Not inherently wrong, but it's a band-aid solution to temporarily pump up the numbers. \n\nImmigrants, specifically refugees are taking low-income jobs. Speak Arabic? You can easily fill your job positions for minimum wage. Just like mafia tactics in third-world countries, the government takes their passports away and they must fulfill their duties at a very low wage and very high cost of living under threat of being thrown back into a potentially war-torn country. Came to Canada as a Dentist? Doesn't matter, you need to climb the ladder again and in the meantime work as a Receptionist making minimum wage.\n\nImmigrants with money are obligated to prove themselves. Buy housing, start a business. Numerous cities such as Brampton are being filled with slums. Housing a double digit of residents in the basement at absurd costs so the landlords can afford their ridiculous mortgages and lifestyle off the back of other immigrants/refugees.\n\nThe main issue is the hate directed towards immigrants. First of all, in the video it was disgusting for the man to acknowledge that someone was wearing good clothes and asking where the refugee center is. Someone can be a refugee and still have money. That's the ideal refugee. Someone with money in a war-torn country such as Sudan are high targets and completely deserve to run away to a safe country like Canada - especially if they can afford to spend money and stimulate the economy.\n\nStop attacking the people. This is a housing crisis issue that has been so poorly managed that these deeply rooted symptoms are beginning to show.

If I was Prime Minister. I would Ban the immigrant Visa program for the next 10 years. I would deport anyone who has overstayed there welcome (those with expired visas) or are here (illegally) and now (not documented) \n\nThat alone would take many out of the shelters, homes, rentals, streets that should not be in the Country anymore. Leaving the resources and the people who work and volunteer for those resources to help the Canadian people (which would be the prime reason for this) Canadians first ! \n\nI would cut the Carbon Tax. Lower the Property Tax. Put a cap on all Strata fees. Lower the deficit. \n\nBuild more Hospitals and treatment centers. Put a ban on drugs and safe injections (as we know there is no such thing) \n\nMake it mandatory for those in need due to drug and mental issues (that have been diagnosed with such) to go to treatment centers (while building more centre's and hiring qualified professionals workers) to stop the crisis. \n\nChange laws on crimes and the time and penalty behind them. Doubling and tripling the time served and raising bail fees by 50% to keep folks that have criminal pasts off the streets <---- for first time offenders. \n\nFor those that have multiple offenses. Quadruple the jail times and put bail amounts 100% more then what they are now. \n\nGive those that kill, ra*e, torture, (and things along that nature (the death penalty) \n\nI would remove the mandate for Electric Vehicles for Canada. Where only 1 vehicle per manufacturer would have to be Electric. So if somebody wants it. It's there but the majority would be. Gas / Diesel etc. \n\nI would build more housing / schools / retirement homes / hospitals / recreation centre's / Library and walk in Clinics. \n\nI would write a law that the roads in Canada must be fixed properly. Not just patched. \n\nI would raise the taxes on Multi Million and Billion Corporations and those that make $400.000 or more to pay a higher tax. While those that make less than $400.000 get taxed less. \n\nI would Lower the provincial taxes by 2% effective immediately and the Minimum wage across all provinces would be $17.75 an hour for full time workers (over 32 hours per week) with .25 cent yearly increases until 2030 to be reassessed. \n\nI would give Tax cuts to those who want to open businesses and build and sell Canadian Products to make sure Canadian Goods are affordable to make. Still have a profit to slow down overseas production creating more Canadian jobs for Canadian People. \n\nEvery Worker that works 24 hours or more weekly is getting Benefits making it mandatory for all types of business owners to make benefits available to the workers and ensuring the plan covers a minimum of 50% throughout the entire year. \n\nI would raise the pension to those who have worked 25+ years in Canada and remain in Canada as a retiree for a minimum of 6 months of the year 5% \n\nShrinkflation will stop. With major corporations getting fined if they don't smarten up and change the way the make and package goods. \n\nI would put a cap on Car insurance for those that have never been in an accident before and lowering the monthly cost by 10% \n\nCondo sizes would have to increase the square footages by a minimum of 10% of the national average to make sure that there is enough room and peaceful environment for those that live in those spaces. \n\nI would ban that you would have to pay additional for parking at every Rental property including lockers, that the property owners purchased during pre construction as well as lower the public parking costs nation wide in parking garages by 20% and cap it. \n\nI would Lower transit costs nation wide by 20% and cap it. \n\nI would bring back texts books and paper to schools so kids read more. Write more. Understand more. Learn more for those in grade 8 and under. \n\nI would ban every Pride event in Canada and charge people fines if they hang rainbow colored Canadian flags anywhere on any property including ban clothing with those colors on the Canadian Flags immediately. Failure to do so would also Ban same sex marriage the following year on the same date that the first ban was made if Failure to comply. \n\nI would ban any book or literature for kids that is LGQTB written. \n\n& that is just the beginning.

Canada should be hiring more people like Karma to encourage these disgruntled Indian immigrants to go home. We need more permanent residents anxious to build Canada, work hard for education, careers and learning more about our wonderful country. I am a 12th generation Canadian. When my forefathers arrived here in the late 1700’s they didn’t have all the amenities that today’s immigrants are in-tilled to.They taught two world wars and struggled through a decade of depression. Immigrants arrive expecting free healthcare, education, infrastructure ect. We had generations of struggle to make Canada the wonderful safe democracy that it is. Keep the 10 requirements for eventual admission to our country. But the Mikey Mouse easy education should not be one of them. They should be required to spend their first 5 years vs the current 3 years in Canada and not India . They should be required to learning about Canadian culture, Christian based laws, learn one of our official languages and much more. I was moving back to Edmonton in October 2023 and the vacancy rate was 0.0001% the apartment I got, if i did not take it (the area is so rough) I would have had to stay with a friend and hoped and prayed that in November more people were moving so something else could/would become available. \n\nThen I talked to everyone in this building. Once the 1 year lease is up they months rent 250$ so they suck you into a an apartment where homeless are sleeping in the laundry room smoking meth for $1000 and then up the rent to 1250$ and the area is like the ones you were exploring. If anyone knows Edmonton it’s a block off 118 ave or Alberta Avenue. And I work at the Royal Alexandra Hospital (inner city) it’s heart breaking ?. It was always bad but since moving to the country in 2020 and coming back late 2023 the decline is devastating. Even a very close friend of mine went from packing her kids lunches, working casually (when they needed) as a janitor at Edmonton public school board to staying at salvation Army and it getting full to living in Tent City. She had to make her way to Calgary for shelter. ?

As a new citizen of Canada who came here as a refugee, I feel for Canadians who have been here for generations. No other country would tolerate this. I have nothing against people who come here to make it from less opportunistic places, as I was one of those people, but if you're gonna come to another country, respect its cultures and norms - don't act like you're still back home.

Woke laws and culture which marginalized men who are driving force of society. Very weird working experience. Work for yourself or get enslaved by another employer that's why people would love to work for government. Housing prices skyrocketing in big cities and there is no foreseeable future for its remedy. Cold weather for six month of year and at the end COVID force closure killed many of people and hospitalization was so bad. Anywhere there was no hospitalization people life were saved. There is no open market like many countries which are backed by government to buy goods in reasonable price for low income people. Very restricted laws for driver license. Life in Canada is far from normal kills you or make you disable for life without getting you paid. Now I disabled for couple of years and I'm outside of Canada and just my family saved my life because I couldn't work because of disability due to spoof call attack which cause severe peripheral neuropathy. Even there is no any protocol for this illness to get cured and forced me to see many MDs and cost me lots of money. The shelters for single men in Toronto are terrible, for the most part. The majority of people don’t understand the plight of the homeless and blame them for the situation they are in! It’s a judgement made out of ignorance of people, who are so far removed from their reality.\n\nIt’s not just bad in Toronto … other cities are facing the same problem. What’s causing this? I strongly feel it’s how the governments (all three levels) are running things … they’re inept! There is no excuse for this … it’s mismanagement/misappropriation of tax payers money! And they’re sending. Ill ions of dollars outside of the country. Well charity should begin at home … take care of your citizens before you start giving money outside of the country! Just makes no sense!

Many of us Canadians who are born and raised here have been living here for generations. Our grandparents and great parents immigrated here and helped build this country. Many of us are hard working people and have no problems with immigrants that move here to WORK, go to school get an education become a productive member of society, make a good life for themselves. The immigrants that come here expecting a hand out, expect Canadian laws and Canadians to occomidate them. To expect our laws to change to accommodate them, well that won't happen here. Many of us are hard working blue collar people especially in the Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba and Northern Ontario. Most of us won't put up with bullshit. This isn't being is racist or predjiced it's called show some respect.

I wonder how many people watching this, realize that the reason that we have such high prices in Canada is that we have a government hell bent on destroying the energy industry. The price of goods is directly related to the cost of energy. When taxes make up more than the actual fuel cost it causes an inflation. When the cost of producing goods is increased by the cost of energy it causes inflation. Inflation caused by government is the number one issue in all western countries. The only way to slow inflation is to vote in governments that will focus on energy and not focus on green agendas.

What I'm amazed at is the number of people who are under the impression that Justin Trudeau is at the commands of this country's policies.
