Oh, hell no! And further to that, if I was visiting the US and got sick enough that I might need a hospital, I would do my damnedest to get back to Canada. I have heard Americans say that the healthcare is very good, as long as you have money. But I don’t trust it because Americans have been brainwashed to believe that the US is exceptional in every way (sorry guys, but it’s extremely obvious to the rest of the world), yet I have heard too many stories about things like people picking up C. Diff or other drug-resistant infections in hospitals there.\n\nI spent about two weeks in the hospital in February. You know what it cost me? Absolutely nothing. Well, I did have to pay for taking an ambulance later. But the hospital stay itself cost me nothing. Neither did the food they fed me in there, or the medication they gave me.\n\nMayyyybe if you guys got universal health care (it shouldn’t be tied to your job), and stopped shooting each other so much. You definitely have some better weather. Oh, and if you all toned down the religion a bit. Annnd stopped trying to play world police while simultaneously bombing other countries into oblivion to steal their resources. That’s been going on for far too long, and I don’t think the average American citizen even realizes it.

US - the problem is when there are obvious problems you have a system that allows big money into politics, which allows for lobbying, which in my opinion is legal bribery. The idea that politicians had ( or have ) NRA ratings for supporting openly guns and not implementing the most logical of common sense gun control. \nHealthcare - in Canada, not having the healthcare tied to your employer actually makes Canadians a more free country. There are a lot of Canadians in the arts ( musicians, painters etc. ) that have the freedom to pursue any employment that wish, and not worry about the health benefits. \nIt kind of surprises me that you were surprised about school shootings. From what we see, that is not happening all in big cities. Sandy Hook was the worst. To think that Congress didn't do a thing after that, is reason enough not to want to move there.\nAnd Donald Trump has soured my wanting to ever even go there on holiday. Unbelievable that after two years, so many Americans believe anything he says, when he claims that he won in 2020 with not even a ounce of evidence to the contrary. There is not even a theory that would explain his claims. The mistrust of Americans with each other stems from people like Trump and Fox news. \nI think as you said - Healthcare alone is enough for almost any Canadian. I don't know anyone that owns a gun, I don't know of anyone who has gone bankrupt for being sick, and I never worry my granddaughter going to school and being shot.

I mean the reasons listed are already reason enough, but additional reasons:\n\n- our labour laws tend to be superior to the majority of states (seriously, Wisconsin has no workers rights, maternity leave is barely a thing in most states let alone parental leave)\n-social security net in the event of losing a job (during the start of the pandemic, even though we did have to suddenly change the system, the fact that we already had a safety net to begin with was a huge relief to many)\n- the racism, while still obviously present, is significantly lower (experienced more racism in Edmonton than I do in a tiny town in rural Quebec). This before even beginning to consider how the police forces in the USA would be more likely to target someone like me whether I am guilty or not (have personally had nothing but good experiences with the police anywhere I have lived personally).\n\nThe only things that have ever tempted me in particular have been the lower housing costs, but… that’s clearly only the immediate monetary cost, and for me has never even come close to making up for the other significantly more important things that I would have to deal with / be concerned over.

As a Canadian that immigrated from the US over 50 years ago, NO WAY! I still have relatives there, even a brother who lived most of his life in Canada - from age 10 to 50 - lives in the US, and I won't even visit him. Find a lot of the area where you would go as a tourist, full of arrogant a'holes (including my brother). If have, to admit that I do enjoy watching your channel, and I am sure that there are a lot of nice people in small town America, but I have to agree with many of the submissions you read. Don't like the politics, gun violence and political attitude to it, the treatment of minorities, the treatment of women, the villinization of the LGBTQ2 community, the book bans in the schools - MAJOR PROBLEM - the school curriculum being adjusted to reflect history in a whitewashed manner.....I could continue.....but my answer is an obvious HELL NO!

Skipping the fetus position, shows you are a chicken to admit one of the the biggest faults of the USA. I do not take this video as seriously and you are kind of mocking us by not addressing the obvious. At least you are brave enough to talk about gun culture and killing kids in schools. You show me the small American towns that are BLUE and not RED. They are rare. Check out your last electoral map. Also we (our family of four) agree, we have decided to NEVER travel to the US for holidays again. Let alone ever live there. We would actually pick Jamaica or Fiji over any of your sunbelt states. O Canada!!!

Fairly obvious you're a truntliKan and have your head in the sand when you don't see the 'in your face' political-religious-racism all around you.\nIf you're not part of the solution...

I think a big part of the feelings most have about not moving to the US, apart from the reasons they've been able to quantify, are the fact that we see the obvious problems not being fixed. In many other countries health care, gun control, etc may not be perfect, but change and improvements are made. In the US, we see any efforts shot down time and time again because the policians seem to be owned by corporations/lobbyists, and big business likes things as they are. This significantly erodes confidence in the US government's ability to address other crises that will come up.
2023-07-17 0
There is a greater entrepreneurial spirit in the USA, so you can get richer there - if you are lucky. That is about the only good reason for moving there. About 400 school shooting per year in the USA - more than one a day, on average. I drove down the DelMarVa peninsula, and the racism was obvious, and rampant, but Americans I talked to did not even notice! The healthcare thing is another biggie for staying in Canada. I know I would never move to the USA.
2023-07-17 0
hi tyler. another Canadian here. I'm gonna have to state the obvious stuff healthcare. gun control. woman's rights. But i want to go into a little more detail. My nearest hospital has a air ambulance helicopter. In America a Regular ambulance can cost you up to 5k and An air ambulance in the USA can go upto $36,000.\n\nin Ontario i'd pay NOTHING for a regular ambulance and 45 Dollars for the helicopter You're not even in the hospital And we're already talking stupid amounts of money

I don't think Canadians so much are concerned with guns, it is the laws that get passed in many of the states. Lack of background checks, lack of firearms safety certification, concealed carry, stand your ground, and other laws most Canadians find objection to. Health care is an obvious reason many Canadians would not move to the USA. Canadians that do move to the USA usually have found a good paying job with full benefits and are of a demographic that feel more comfortable where they live.
2023-07-16 0
Tyler you are oblivious to what happens in the US which is obvious by your reaction I think you should explore more about your own country. It seems to me Canadians know more about US history past and present, your politics, religious zealots, bigotry, racism, the list goes on. By the way the number one cause of death for children in the US is guns you might want to explore that. Going around living in your personal bubble isn't helping you realize the issues in the US and around the world. The best way for change to happen is to vote in people who will work towards it at the local, state and federal level. Everything is not political it's just groups who have pushed it in that direction. The US is not the same country I visited many times years ago. Would I have ever moved there...a resounding NO
2023-07-16 0
Lol I lived in the US for 1 year but in the short period of time I lived there (California) I became paranoid. There are so many local crimes that I never feel safe alone. No gun control, health care sucks, crime rate is high, a lot of homeless ppl and no unemployment benefits. Also, streets are dirty. Our taxes might be higher but it really goes to good use obviously.

Over the years I've been to the US many times, most recently in 2014. I can tell you with 100% certainty that with the way things are now, I have no plans whatsoever to return. There are so many systemic issues, including gun ownership/violence being a self-fulfilling prophecy (everyone has guns, so I need a gun to protect myself, which means more guns in society, which means more people thinking they need guns to protect themselves, which means more guns), and that they've somehow allowed half the population's human rights to be violated (and fail to see that it's just the beginning of a slide down a very slippery slope). They tout that they have so much freedom, claim they have more freedom than anyone else in the world, but their freedoms are being taken away left and right from their federal government, all the way down to individuals who think that their personal rights and freedoms are paramount, even to the point of impinging on others' personal rights and freedoms. Add to that the obvious health care issues, the food quality, the environmental issues etc... No thanks.
2023-07-16 0
No way...no thanks. Happy to be Canadian through and through.\nThe way thungs are going down there. We obviously have more freedom. ??
2023-07-16 0
Why are the speaking English to each other.\nThey are obviously from the same country

So theyre on the border attacking and demanding? Since when is this a thing? GO THE FUCK HOME ITS OBVIOUS YOURE ALL DOING FINE WITH YOUR HIGH ENERGY
2023-07-13 0
The economics of Canada are easily explained by corruption. The basic economics of our housing crisis are literally so painfully obvious you’d have to be a liar or in denialism to pretend it was anything other than basic math that is destroying our country.
2023-07-13 0
Simply very innocently express feelings of parents's first experience of leaving dazzling desi life and obviously totally opposite life of abroad. Love this talk of moms ❤❤
2023-07-11 0
If we're one of the least corrupt countries in the world I'm terrified of what ranks at the top. Obviously we're no america but shit.
2023-07-09 0
Please do you homework before coming here. Canada is a first world Country. Not a developing, or 3rd world nation. Obviously the cost of living is higher. Amenities and services have a cost attached to them. Someone has to pay for it right?
2023-07-09 0
It's funny how you're surprised that Canada has high taxes. It's obvious - it's social democratic state. Such countries usually have sky high taxes and shitty free health services and whatever free. You pay twice for free services - it's typical. Haven't you heard about it ? It amazes me how many people don't understand this simple principle that nothing is really free.
2023-07-08 0
Why are we seeing this? Donald Trump, obviously. Biden will take care of it, we just have to make sure Trump doesn't win in 2024.

The non mexicans are fleeing a socialist country that does not work. Guess they are not ever going to Vote as directed. They are counting on the new votes mexicans will potentially provide. Every non compliant vote is going against the grain and pottentially will cause a hic up in the underlying agenda. Its obvious

Fear just dey catch me on ur behalf ?? God abeg ooo make I no jam Agbako officer for my turn ooo? me that it's always obvious I'm nervous ? I develop headache easily

Unfortunately I agree with the Republicans. We can’t have uncontrolled borders. You cannot do this in any country. We obviously need legal immigration. We have quotas on the number we can let in each year because that’s how much the system can accommodate. When we go above those numbers… it F’s up everything.
2023-07-04 0
I realy feel for these migrants theyve come so far fleeing obvious horrors and poverty but they need to go through the process man. Most of these people are probably fine folks but it only takes one terrorist one pound of fentanyl to kill millions we need secure borders and better trade with Mexico who is more closely allighned to our values than China make everybody rich cut China and people will only try to get to Mexico for a better life.
2023-07-02 0
Good job Big Joe... Child trafficking and fentanyl skyrocketing obviously has no influence on democrats policy.

My advice for Canada:\n1 - obviously LOWER THE TAXES ! ... this is basically a SCAM! ... 30$/h may sounds good while in reality is less than 20$/h because of hidden fees(Taxes) ... YOU ARE SCAMMING PPL!\n\n2 - Its utterly stupid to ask for doctors and architects when you don't have a proper vacancy waiting for them, make the immigration process way easier , as soon as a vacancy represents itself act on it and get the ppl in, don't do all the licensing/registrations ... all that over kill process slow the whole thing down , let them learn by doing !! ... that would get the ball going way easier and way faster! , just make sure immigrants who are willing to do it have a good understanding of english.\n\n3 - Easy up on the registration/licensing process , not everything needs to be perfect , let the doctors, architects and technicians work as Interns Immediately or even Pre-Interns .... that way you would have more doctors and no body needs to wait for 2 years for a fkin CHECK UP! ... that is sooo buzzer and I bit its only getting worse!\n\n 4 - try make organized Social events to allow people to socialize better with each other and make friends or families...\n 5 - for the climate, doing nothing 9 months a year is stupid! and boring! , u must find a way to make inclosed warm facilities for newcomers and residents to enjoy.

We are still the most welcoming country in the world. We are very open minded and welcoming people. When I lived abroad, I adapted to their culture and did not impose my own. I think this is totally normal, obviously you don't. You also made a pretty racist comment about Quebec, that Canada is letting us get away with this? I seriously think you are racist, think about it.
2023-06-16 0
Why dont we just invade Mexico and make the united states bigger. Obviously They dont know how to make their home worth living in so they dont need to be in charge there anymore
2023-06-12 0
Why are we seeing this, pretty obvious, was was article 47 vetoed
2023-06-08 0
CANADA IS BURNING DOWN. DON'T WORRY GURLLLL.. GOD IS HANDLING IT ALL IN THIS HATEFUL WORLD. TRUST IN HIM. HE KNOW. THEY OBVIOUSLY DON'T SEE. WE SEE IT.
2023-06-08 0
Funny how republicans are so pissed about this but they keep selling guns to the cartel. Maybe they wouldn’t want to leave their country if it weren’t being terrorized by a group that’s being funded by the “richest” country in the world. All you saying how this needs to stop have obviously had such privileged lives where you felt safe at home in your country but some people don’t get that luxury. And you claim to be Christian’s too lol the irony is too much
2023-06-07 0
They’re new batches of Biden voters obviously.
2023-06-07 0
TO ME they are NOT migrants, obviously they have become criminals! Prosecute them ALL.

I grew up in Calgary, two hours south. I've dealt with it on many levels, sometimes blatantly obvious, most times a series of micro aggressions that make you want to explode and destroy everything when it happens. As much pain it's caused over decades it's made me stronger as well as smarter. I will also say this and I can stress this enough, because of the demographics most of my friends are white and THEY HAVE MY BACK. in almost every aspect life will throw at me, they're ride or die people, I can say this with the utmost confidence The difference for me between Canada and the states is I'm not fighting alone if and when a situation comes up, there's people I can call if needed. Canada has it's issues no question and I could easily go ballistic when it happens to me or anyone I know, but we're not as bad as the states. I believe you can be heard.
2023-05-28 0
Why can't everybody just say yeah come on through it's obvious people want to leave where they're at for some odd reason like maybe war they want to live like you and me
2023-05-26 0
This is what happens when you don't address the right issues....????????? It's obvious we don't have enough clever people that can help people help themselves.... Something plain and simple has gotten seriously out of hand.... If you cannot enforce the policies and procedures that are on the books, then that means you should modify them...☢️☢️☢️
2023-05-25 0
lol people were outraged! i love how people use stuff like this to stoke division. the officer obviously wasnt aware it wasnt a weapon. i mean your wearing a blade, dont expect everyone to understand your culture right off the bat.
2023-05-24 0
Obviously, theses illegals will vote Democrats. That is why the border is not a concern to the Democrats.
2023-05-24 0
Why are we seeing this? The answer is obviously Joe Biden and the Democrats.
2023-05-24 0
Hahaha stopped em. Need to block both ends, herd them gather them up amd send them back to where they came from because they obviously have no respect for our country.
2023-05-22 0
US has had detrimental interventions on all American countries and spreaded obviously false propaganda to promise a dream life.\nHow is this phenomenon not totally obvious?\nWeird to read to that the self proclaimed Americans don't want their fellow continental brothers.\nYou asked for it.
2023-05-22 0
if i were mexican i would do this too. i'm from africa and i lost friends to the mediterranean because they were willing to go all or nothing for a better life. there's significantly less risk for mexicans so it was obvious this will happen. trump's wall suddenly doesn't sound so stupid now huh
2023-05-22 0
You're asking why this is happening????? Two words, biden and harris, that is why this is happening. They want all these migrants in swing states and to get rid of the voter id laws so they can gwt votes and remain in power. It is obvious and disgusting all at the same time.
2023-05-21 0
Theyve obviously not seen what a ish hole america has become, mass homeless, junkies everywhere, shootings everyday?put that ish on a loop on the big screen at the boarders they'll run home quick enough??
2023-05-21 0
Why dont you just put the dope dispensaries all in 1 location? Then theyll go there and not be laying around everywhere. Also where do you think you will go if you are leaving canada over systemic racism ? Especially in light of the fact 1 in 4 is an immigrant ? Couldnt they just not let imigrants in in the first place if theyre racist ? Seems to me canada suffers from the same stupid woke ideaology as America. Where every shortcoming and failure is blamed on racism . Socialized medicine in canada sucks , good to know . You keep about half of what you make because of taxes. English being not strong preventing you from getting a job may play a part in the perception of dystemic racism and the 1/4 being imigrants . Just to point out the obvious . It seems to me the best thing canada can do is make it mandatory to speak fluent english before you imigrate . Also maybe test those imigrants for illegal drugs , and relocating the homeless junkies to a centralized location. Limit dispensation of narcotics to only gov. fascilities , and create incentives for dr.s to stay in Canada.
