Canada still uses 70s and 80s mentality when operating the country.\nImmigration is important, but is managed extremely poorly. Many new migrants struggle to find a home and to get the proper documents to establish themselves, like the rest of us.\nCanada allowed foreign buyers to buy properties and lands, which have driven the housing market to an insane level we see today. Canadians have to go into debt just to have a roof.\nThe current government spend too much time/money trying to look morally correct than actually doing his freaking job to balance the economy. I don't understand why Toronto and Montreal still vote for that drama teacher who is as horrendous as his father was in the 1980s. Now all we have as an alternative is a neanderthal from the conservative party.

Reading the comments of other Canadians here makes me realize we're collectively and angrily going to vote Conservative in 2025 and then watch as nothing changes.\n\nI await the comment replies.

Conservatives giving it all away, and the Liberals doing nothing to fix it.

“Why are we seeing this right now?” Bruh, conservatives have been warning about the border issue and trying to get congress to address it for a while. CNN knew about it too. Don’t play dumb. It was only a matter of time

Well guys you could have voted for PPC instead you voted for retarded liberals and equally retarded conservative party. Maxime addressed this issue years ago on his campaign and instead of using your brains you did not vote, and called him a racist for having common sense. Congrats.

100% with you. It’s the liberal government and especially CBC and other media that are pushing a far left ideology. It’s destroying everything that make the country work.\nThe taxing rate is destroying the economy. You are left with half your income, out of that you get taxed 15% on expense and if you buy expert (plumber, carpenter) they too loose half of it. This is destroying the productive free economy. It’s at a point it might collapse.\n\nIf we want to save Canada we have to vote conservative and return to the value that work, freedom, low taxes, small government.

the key point of this clip is that these are Venezuelans. They are still allowing all the other nations to come into the US through the border. They stopped allowing Venezuelans since back in October because they have a tendency to vote conservative after living through Socialism in their once thriving country that has now turned to a complete communist mess.
|
| 2023-04-05 | 0 |
Biden and the Democrats are evidently very selective about which migrants they want to let in. They want to keep out Venezuelan refugees because they are fleeing from the tyranny of Venezuela’s Communist dictatorship. Venezuelans are potential future Conservative Republican voters.

Ya know what, they tend to vote conservative. Let them thru.

Let’s get one thing straight, CNN was recently bought by a conservative owner. If I remember correctly. Not to mentioned this is from mainstream media. Not as bad a faux news which is worst, but mainstream media nonetheless. I wouldn’t take this clip or YouTube short to heart.

Conservative laws and policies like banned-abortions and pedophilia plays a big part of poverty and overpopulation in third-world countries.

Democrats are why we are seeing this, and any time we've seen this and all the other crap we're going through now. VOTE CONSERVATIVE

I have a background in Nursing and a Bachelor of Conservation Biology, Ecology and Biotechnology. I wanted to go to Canada to work for a couple of years but the visa process is too damn hard, I should have just walked into the country without a visa, why didn't I think of that before ?, I was doing it all wrong (I am being sarcastic).

Self entitlement is a leftist idea, not a conservative value. You’ll never see Brandon saying we don’t have the money for this, unless it would be some sort of right to life, initiative, or second amendment, initiative, or anything that makes America great, but when it comes to government spending money we don’t have and pay for it by printing money. He will do that.

Fire some tear gas into the front or bean bags. We can shoot our own people with non lethals for conservative protests but antifa blm and immigrants get treated like children?

They want to escape violence. But let’s remember American conservatives didn’t want to let Jewish people come here from Germany during ww2. Conservatives are vile lower life forms

Conservatives always say they want less government...

They fight to come in but won’t fight for their own country…? That’s the total opposite of the American spirit. We don’t want someone like that hear. Turn your asses around and get a job. No more hand outs and free stuff from our hard earned taxes(stolen money). Then a lot of these ppl if they do work send it right back to their country and don’t spend their money in America those a lot of self owned businesses could use. Like we need them for sure. But not that many and not like that. I wish we could do a study where only liberals get to live in an area with their rules and only conservatives with their rules in a different spot. Then maybe the libs can see how dumb they are. On the libs side You would have homeless ppl every, no cops, no locked doors since they want open boarders, the government controlling your every move, guys in girls bathroom(creeps included), 70-90% taxes, segregation since they think ppl of color should have their own spaces. Only criminals with guns and since no police that would be tough. \n\nAnd the conservative side would be like America only more freedom, barely any tax if any, guns everywhere so you can protect yourself, closed boarder but do it legal way more than welcome. And little things like higher speed limits, cheap gas. And FREEDOM as long as you aren’t hurting anyone else. \n\nI mean how can the left really not see their side sucks… democrats want to control you, republicans want you to have freedom…how is this confusing lol

The Marxists hiding as democrats, don't want Venezuelan immigrants, because they flee for communism, that is taking over the US and the west right now. The Venezuelans turn mostly into anti communist conservatives.

I am latino and i hate how people would rather risk dying to get to country where they are not wanted and will be discriminated against even if they did go through the system correctly. Why not use that courage/bravery to fight your countries tyranny. I would rather die in the country that i was born in then to fight for a country that is divided and very prejudice against others. Also it sucks that lot of latino migrants are usually from southern latin America and they will try to tie them to Mexicans. Most of these people arent Mexican and trust me Mexicans are also somewhat conservative and have tried to tell migrants to not try this.
|
| 2023-03-29 | 0 |
They’ll take them from everywhere, but they don’t want the Venezuelans or the Cubans because these people are well aware of the horrors of communism. These will be conservative voters if they can become citizens, so they will definitely stop THESE people from crossing into the United States.

Funny how CNN is acting shocked on this after years of bashing conservatives for saying it was a problem. This is your fault, own it.

This is a complete war time invasion technique of overwhelming the enemy with sheer numbers. I think two million is a conservative estimate of how many have illegally entered america with the help of much of the u s government. \nBut Not President Trump.

We need more and better resources for immigration in Canada. The immigration offices are often overwelmed and ends up delaying immigration by way too long. Canada needs change in a better direction, conservatives and their backwards thinking are gonna ruin this country.

Canada has been run into the ground by government after government for 40 or 50 years now. Every level of government in Canada serves itself at the expense of the people paying taxes. All government employees have unshakeable job security, unbelievable benefits and pensions, and a total lack of accountability of any kind. Debt has been run up over this period continuously at every government level. In spite of the huge taxes, government continues to borrow ever more money to serve itself.\nI wrote a letter to then Prime Minister Brian Mulroney decades ago asking why the government was continuously running deficits and how did he expect to pay for it all? All I got back in response was a bull$hit form letter. Now with the liberals in government you can see the bloat in government and it's spending increasing even more than under the conservatives.\nThe most frustrating thing about Canada and Canadians is that they keep voting in incompetent and spend thrift governments. It seems that in Canada the dream is to get yourself a cozy government job and just turn into a taker rather than a creator. This idea seems to be very strong in new immigrants as well.\nCanada is done. Stick a fork in it and turn it over.

Canadian police are like American police, they only attack conservatives, and the laws don't apply to immigrants.

So, they are allowed to enter even though it is illegal— because of this liberal government. Hopefully the conservatives in the future takeover the whole government, not islamic conservatives

Conservative Canadians want order restored and a fence put up , it's called following our laws not crashing the border and creating yet more expenses for us and we are damn close to fighting our idiot left wing neighbors over this self destructive liberal agenda and knocking some sense into them! Almost time to take the reigns back by force from these idiot socialist/globalist elements!!

I thought conservatives said the border is open why are they being stopped if Biden opened the border for everyone \n\nIt's almost as if conservatives are creating this problem by telling the world our borders are open when they aren't

1 US has 50 states that function like countries. You can choose a Liberal or Conservative state to live on. Canada is all liberal, no options to choose. Point for USA
\n2 Housing is expensive in Canada. Housing is also expensive is the US (liberal state) but also cheap (conservative state). You have the option to choose. Point for USA.
\n3 Migration is discriminatory in Canada (based on points); if you are a poor, old or non educated, have no chance. USA does not discriminate. Point for USA.
\n4 USA has more family values and more respect for religion. Point for USA.
\n5 Gun rights prevent any country to have dictatorships like Nazi Germany, Venezuela or Russia. Point for USA.
\n6 Health care. USA is too expensive. Point for Canada.
\n7 Work-Life Balance. 40 hours a week is the standard work schedule for both countries. You are not obligated to work more than that in the US. It's a tie.
\n8 Parental Leave. It depends if you ask to workers or entrepreneurs. I prefer the point of view of entrepreneurs because they create wealth and jobs. Point for USA.
\n9 Education Cost. USA is too expensive. Point for Canada.
\n10 Summary: USA is the winner.

The bigots are conservatives and Christian’s and those type of parties like they freedom movement. That are against multiculturalism. Most people part of the freedom truckers movement are bigots and with a small amount of people from other cultures that are too stupid to understand who they are standing next too or are grifters.

I was born & raised in Canada, and always planned to move back. \nLived in Taiwan, S Korea, Ireland and now the States.\nAfter losing my mom to cancer in BC - I was shocked with how the health care system has deteriorated. Tests, procedures were scheduled horrendously far apart. She died w/o having one Oncologist appointment. Even more shocking was learning about Canadas rationed inefficient monopoly. \nUntil it emulates Bismarck models of European countries & allows a 4 profit private sector to run alongside, will never move back. Will only vote for the Conservative Party now - which wants to emulate Bismarck models like Germany, Japan & Netherlands to create a strong public sector. \nNDP/Liberal want to maintain the inefficient status quo that wastes taxpayer $ and don’t perform as well

It can be put this simply. If you are a liberal, you will love Canada. If you are a conservative, you will hate it. Even many of Canada's conservative politicians are liberal as hell.

Im in rural California in a conservative area and we don’t worry about crime or the tap water. We are all on a well. The major population centers tend to be left leaning, crime ridden, and dirty.

For the vast amounts of segregation, thats cause America was built off racist policies including jim crow, redlining and steering and everyone knows it, but never mention the truth to white conservatives. Them mfs have amnesia like a mf and will even confuse you with revisionist history to avoid white guilt and accountability like the plague.

I moved from the U.S. to Canada. Some observations:\n1. It's unbelievably safe in Canada. The most dangerous places in Canada are still very safe compared to much of the U.S.\n2. Outside of DC and New York and I guess Chicago and L.A. in the U.S. and Montreal, Toronto and Vancouver in Canada, you need a car. I disagree that city planning is that much better in Canada.\n3. The maternity leave in Canada is great \n4. The unemployment insurance in Canada is great too\n5. I prefer the Canadian health care system. I never experienced any long wait times. My wife had literal brain surgery and it was free whereas it would've been hundreds of thousands of dollars in the U.S.\n6. Canada is further to the left and is much more woke than the U.S. Everything here is about equity, diversity and inclusion. Even many Canadian conservatives would be moderates in the U.S. but most people know this already.\n7. There is a better work life balance in Canada. I worked a lot more when living in the U.S.\n8. Most Canadians live by the U.S. border so the weather is not that different than most northern American states. But once you go to northern Canada, it is as cold as they say it is.\n9. The U.S. is better for making money.\n10. It is much more racially segregated in the U.S. \n11. Outside cities like Montreal and Toronto, Canada is very white.\n12. Things are much more spread out in Canada. When I lived in the U.S. driving for 1 hour to go somewhere was a long drive. In Canada, that is normal.\n13. Canada is pretty great if you like the outdoors. There's only 36 million people here and outside the major cities, you find small towns and the wilderness. \n14. Canadians are quite friendly. I know my neighbors in the country. I never knew my neighbors in the U.S.\n15. Canadian politics is boring and I like this. However, in the rural areas, it seems that people really hate Justin Trudeau.\n16. Since Canada is so similar to the U.S. it is very easy to adjust to life here.\n17. Outside of Quebec, you really don't need to speak French. \n18. The nationalism of the Quebecois is very surprising. There is no group in the U.S. this nationalistic.

Right off the bat you kinda made the point that most conservatives try to make when discussing States rights... Every state has its own thing, there are regions that adopt similar qualities, but generally speaking the USA is multiple States who have a union... but our educational system has spend decades brainwashing people into thinking that its all one big thing, and the Federal government controls all of it, like an empire.
|

We're run by a minority liberal government, Most of us are conservative.

The CBC is a huge issue in Canada. It’s funded ENTIRELY with tax dollars therefore the government decides what we watch, even if no one wants to watch it at all, and the CBC is 100% in love with the Liberal government and all of their news is blatant propaganda. Why not? The Liberals increased the CBC budget to 1.6 Billion a year of course they want to spin the news to help them especially when you consider the fact that many Conservatives want it defunded completely because they are tired of the spin. \nAnother issue is that some areas of Canada make the decisions for the rest of the country. Ontario and Quebec have large populations therefore when it comes to federal elections they basically always get their way even if everyone in Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba disagrees. \nAlso, Quebec gets treated completely differently than the rest of the country. They have special deals when it comes to university tuition and child care, they have their own political party that no one else can vote for, and they force the rest of the country to have French all over the place and on everything which is mostly pointless and very few people in Canada can only speak French and can’t understand the English. The amount of crappy, unwatchable French TV/radio shows we outside Quebec have to pay for with tax dollars is beyond ridiculous.\nI know this comment will get hate especially since I mentioned Quebec which is a touchy subject.

OK … here me out . Back east sucks ! It’s a freezer box for 5 months a year . Canada is ultra socialist and socially conservative. Passive- aggressive really from a sociological perspective . Huge taxes . Multiculturalism has done huge damage to the society by segregating people in essence. I live in SE Asia for half the year - have been doing this since 35 years old ?. Great value and super happy people . . Great break from the Canadian cold …

I am not a conservative. But in the spirit of Trudeau, good job avoiding using credible arguments to prove a point just redirect and insult me instead. If you cannot see what is wrong with the current government you are blind. Not once have you made a credible argument to support your point a view...I am pretty sure you are just repeating things Trudeau has said about the conservatives. Do you have any original thoughts? You are just bad mouthing me and others like me because we want our government to follow through on what they say they will do and what they are supposed to already be doing. Why are you trying to turn it into something else. I sorry that me thinking the government should actually do the job they are paid to do offends you. Maybe you should just stick with cartoons, they might be less offensive to you. Have a nice night friend.

Alberta's biggest problem is its warlike politics. Very discouraging that aspect is, along with these wild highly conservative types that make home here.
