Local here, born and raised in BC. As much as I love our country and history, I don't see myself being able to live here in the future. Real estate is the driving factor for the economy and with those housing/COL prices going up, I won't even be able to afford a split mortgage even if I had a steady 6 figure job. I don't want to leave Canada but I'm being indirectly forced to by the current Liberal government. Sure, our dollar was tanking before Trudeau enter power, but while he has been in power, it has barely changed and now is very close to reaching the same values we had in the Covid pandemic. Experts are estimating it to even go below that. It is not a good time to be a Canadian.

Any politician/corporation/CEO that supports, ignores or enables the breaking of laws, should be considered to be in breach of those laws as well. I'm also an immigrant, been in Canada for 16 years, came here initially for uni. It's funny that I have no negative feelings towards immigrants from any other countries but India. And I didn't have any negative feeling toward them before I came to Canada, if anything, I only remember something positive my grandma telling me about Indian people being beautiful, that they have big beautiful eyes. After I came to Canada, over the years, based on countless personal experiences dealing with them, sadly my conclusion is 99% of them are bad, 1% are the exception. They are aggressive, rude, stinky, unhygienic, dishonest, always trying to take financial advantage of people or situations to save a few more bucks by being super annoying or cheating, extremely disrespectful and aggressive towards women!! Really nothing is appealing about them. And at a job position, 1 Indian will bring 10 Indians, 10 will bring 100, they are slowly encroaching the environment and taking over everything. Other races try to assimilate into the local culture, while the Indians are imposing theirs onto the local and other cultures. Canada feels like it's turning into a second India. It's lost its politeness, manner, rules etc. I no longer want to live here, I plan to move back to my country after a few years. And I don't really go to Tim Hortons anymore cuz the Indians are taking over all the franchises and lowered the standards of Hygiene and friendliness. I don't think I'm being racist, cuz I'm not having all these negative feelings based on their skin colour or origin. It's purely based on real life experiences in dealing with them.

I love Americans. Although that's a general statement and just like Canada, there are jerks there just like here, for the most part I get along great with them. There are pros and cons to living in Canada and the U.S., For the most part, I believe Canada is the superior country. We have a superior healthcare system, superior banking system, superior snacks, and superior safety. However, Trudeau is killing that. He's destroyed our country to the point that one more term, and it may well be expedient to move to the USA. He's destroying our economy, our values, our culture. We have the resources to top the USA in every way, but we've never had leadership to make that happen. The U.S. has a superior economy, retail, and military. Although some may argue that the USA has superior freedoms, I'm not sure I agree with that. I know I don't feel freer when I travel there. I will definitely travel to the U.S. again. I have lots of friends there who I love and would love to see. However, it will take more Trudeau for me to want to move there. Since it looks like he's on the way out, I better just stay put at least for now.

Merit Points Earned , be taking after hour studies in Canadian History , Politics , and learning either or both of the founding languages French or English . I was born in Quebec, moved to BC and then too Ontario. You should ask why so many of us left Quebec (the last place I would want to live ) why I left BC (most woke province ) and settled in Ontario. I love Atlantic Canada but only as a place to visit. I would move to Alberta for it's politics but not it's weather.

As a born and raised, WHITE Canadian, I NEVER had an issue with Indian immigrants, of all the immigrants to Canada, they were the most respectful, and the most willing to “assimilate” to our culture. The recent influx of immigrants/migrants from India, are the most disrespectful, disgusting and violent people I have ever seen. Shitting where they want, throwing garbage everywhere, not learning English, disrespecting our wildlife, by trying to kill and eat everything, and the latest, hearing a march In Brampton where new immigrants/migrants saying “Get out British speakers, We are the real Canadians, go back to Europe”. My patience and hospitality has limits. Trudeau let this influx happen, assimilation is not possible on this massive scale. I feel sorry for those seeking a better life in Canada, but native borns are being left behind and are angry, so this is what you get. Sorry….just being honest

I have no issue with an immigrant keeping their traditions. However, some immigrants seem to feel that once here that Canada owes them every single thing that they want. Immigrants forget that they chose to come here. Instead it feels like now instead of becoming part of our society, many come here and want to change our way of life to suit them. It's not right.

Went on a work lunch with a Hindu (born in Canada) coworker and was surprised to see him actually eat steak! He mentioned that the first time he tried beef was when moved out of his parents house. Initially he wanted to throw up after trying beef but after a few more tries he liked it and almost always orders it when he eats out at a restaurant.
