We need more immigrants to fill the job vacancies because Canadians are too spoiled to work when they can sit at home and collect, more immigrants to fill jobs to make taxes because Canadians who sit at home and collect don't pay taxes. This country built on immigrants. Stop blaming immigrants for for problems that have nothing to do with them blame housing industry for building unaffordable condos and houses instead of affordable housing. Put the blame where it should be with the ones in charge and it is not always government but the greedy industries. Get a education get a better job and don't sit home and collect pay your taxes. Stop thinking you too good to fill job vacancies dont complain about losing a job get retrained get different job

Canada is tundra region. Historically humans never lived in masses above tropics mean humans are not biologically conditioned to live in that region. All pure or majority Anglo Saxon nation like UK, Canada, Australia and NZ have high property prices by design as it gives false sense of prosperity among service class if export is not huge. Canada and Australia has resources but what Australia has is good weather compared to Canada which is not really suitable for humans. To live in such conditions humans need to earn much in excess of what rest of the world earns else new immigrants will ditch Canada for other comfortable places to immigrate to.

Can confirm, we Canadians like to form small social circles and otherwise keep to ourselves. We're also much more cautious about offending people and therefore ask very non specific, open ended, questions about people.\nTip: if you want Canadian friends you need to be fairly proactive, ask them out to trivia night at a local pub. I’m in Australia doing my md & working full time in a public hospital. Making good money, yes we don’t have a maid but you can have a cleaner part time. It’s all depends on the income!!\n\nAlso, you can get a trady, handy man, to install your items and do small jobs and not charging you plumber & electrician fees. \nI think 2months isn’t enough to draw a conclusion on such matters.I think you needed to go alone first, once know the system a bit better, then get children joinefy you.

With all due respect, comparing US and Canada to European in general doesn't make sense(please excuse my words). Compare them to European countries like Switzerland, Denmark, Norway, Luxembourg. And talking about countries with more billionaires, you can only do that on per capita basis looking at the American population as compared to these countries, and with that the statistics has proved that Scandinavia has more billionaires than US and Canada on per capita basis. Countries like Germany, Italy, Spain, Belgium, France Holland and all those other countries limit you because you're not allowed to work more than one full time job at a time, but in a country like Denmark, the wages are higher and you can work as many hours as your strength can and on top of that you get free healthcare, free education, and a lot more social benefits. So these countries come no where close to a country like Denmark. The language barrier is very valid, but putting in efforts to learn languages of countries like Denmark, Norway. Switzerland is worthy than getting a degree in country like America where inflation is out the roof and debt to gdp ratio is over 90%, having to borrow 3 to 4 billion every month in 2023 to stay afloat.. You need to read more on current state of the US.. It's been predicted that in mid 2024 to the end of 2024 5000 people could lose their job every month due to companies shutting down. This is never a good time to relocate to the States! lol

Mom, maybe you saw private college but if you want to see good college, like conestoga, Humber, Guelph campus, doon velly camps, or more others. College and universities are really vast and beautiful. \nAnd if i talk about vegetarian food, its hard to find options. \nHealth treatments, but you can find vegetarian food at indian restaurants.\nThere is health care system slow, but we have options that where should be go. We need to use. If we are serious conditions then go to hospital, otherwise walking-clinic are good to go. Nice video. If you are moving to any western /developed country, you need to be able to do things by yourself. If you are someone who prefers domestic helps, cook etc. Then believe me, these countries are not for you. The key is to understand what is priority for you in life. If it is cleanliness, safety, good infrastructure, health care, children education and their future, then go for it. If you are the lazy kinds who prefers luxury and rely on others to do daily household chores, very attached to friends, relatives, enjoy going out and eating in Indian restaurants, not ready to be patient and willing to slog for the initial few years then any of these developed countries is not for you. Entirely depends on what are your priorities in life are.\nAgain these countries are good for the tradies - electricians, mechanics, plumbers etc. These guys can make a fortune here. So, for all those tradies whose priority is to earn money, yes these countries are good for you.

Europe is a scam first you come and you need to learn the language which already you started in your country then working and working and your salary can just pay your bills and if you are lucky you have some money to go for a cheap vacation ... after that if you want to move to another country in Europe it is the same like to move to the US ... the schengen area is good only for citizens of Europe that is all any reisdent is not allowed to work anywhere else iit is like a prison to use you and then throw you back to your home country when your visa is canceled .... they have many rules many laws many bureaucracy it is a nightmare i hope i move out to canada very soon and i will never comeback to Europe even for a holiday !

The USA is good if you’re willing to overwork to make money… you will basically work work work and that’s not a good life. I recommend USA if you are young and want to flex in the future. I work every day in America and I’m not missing anything but I feel like a slave honestly. Canada is good for foreigners that are trying to get PR and a Citizenship from a western country quick because Canada needs a lot of immigrants due to its size. Canada is not good to live because it’s just so damn cold and housing costs too much. Europe is good if you’re trying to be lazy because the government likes to give money and health insurance is free but it’s hard getting PR and Citizenship. In Europe the income is very low on average compared to the US but the reason is cause there’s just so much overtime available in the USA and things are more 24/7. Europe is better to start a family and safety security…. But you will be giving up working super hard in the USA to make good amount of money…. Pick your poison. I recommend going to Canada to acquiere a Citizenship quick then go to USA and work like a slave with a lot of overtime for 10-15 years and before your 40-55 years old you move to Europe…

1) Toronto is poor value. Getting housing of any kind (buying or renting) is stupidly expensive. And the quality you get for the price is lousy. Especially the newer builds, which are just thrown up as quickly as possible and sold to investors. Policy measures generally all seem to serve to just inflate the price of housing further. The occasional lip service given to affordability is amusing, but ultimately sad. There are lots of people who really do not want the housing bubble to pop. They will fight against it with all they have.\n\n2) It has become kind of boring. There is lots to do if you have money, but it’s harder to find entertainment on a budget. Even the free stuff like parks are filling up. Stuff like sporting events, eating out, going out is very costly across the board. Even the “cheaper” stuff is expensive. It seems like a lot of local culture is disappearing. Even the cool neighbourhoods are filling up with the same chains. I think the high commercial rent and bureaucracy is deflating a lot of would-be entrepreneurs. Most landowners seem to just be banking on cashing out their land for condos.\n\n3) Canada overall has a high cost of living compared to salaries. In the US you can find lower cost of living areas that still give you a real city experience. And in Europe you can be poor but still live a decent, if no frills, life. In Canada the basic necessities are all expensive. Phone bills, grocery bills, rent, insurance are through the roof. Domestic travel is expensive. And the dollar sucks if you want to travel abroad. Health care is free but good luck finding a family doctor or waiting 8 hours in the ER these days. It’s expensive to be poor, or even middle class.\n\n4) Most of the Greater Toronto Area, outside the core, is soulless suburbs with awful transit - very “American” except with worse traffic congestion. You will need a car, which is another huge cost. Row upon row of old cookie cutter suburbs with the same crappy houses. Good luck walking anywhere, and if you do you will need to walk down boring, treeless arterial roads with cars zooming past right beside you, and cross giant eight lane intersections that were never built for humans on foot. In a rainstorm or on a fall evening you have to be really careful not to be run over by aggressive drivers.\n\n5) It is hard to raise a family in an apartment here. You can do it but it’s not very easy, and also you are still kind of judged for it. Lots of young people are feeling stuck and are deferring or avoiding starting a family. Buying any type of house, even a basic townhouse, requires pledging your soul to a bank by taking a massive mortgage with eye watering debt in a volatile market. But few apartment buildings have the kind of sensible gentle density, the family unit sizes and the common amenities, like little courtyards with jungle gyms, that you might find in Europe. No one ever contemplated that anyone would ever desire to raise kids in an apartment. It’s just a cultural thing that has worked its way into how things are planned and designed.\n\n6) The transit system is ok by North American standards but awful by international standards. There are only two real subway lines, one stub line, one line that is permanently out of service after a derailment, and another line that was supposed to open a couple years ago but still has no date for opening. The subways go out of service frequently, sometimes for the dumbest reasons, and then it is a zoo of shuttle buses. The streetcars are nice but so slow. The buses are fine if you find yourself dreaming about riding a daily herky jerky rolling tin of sardines. They are building a lot of transit but it will take decades to get done.\n\n7) There is still a lot of cool multiculturalism and opportunities to experience different foods and cultures - one of the best things about Toronto. Increasingly though it seems to be losing the fun vibe of the 90s, when everyone celebrated each other’s backgrounds and was chill. It seems the immigration is not as broad based anymore and also people are importing a lot of their “old country” grievances here. The immigration system also kind of preys on people abroad by selling them a false fairy tale, so they end up dejected when they arrive and see how things really are.\n\n8) This one might be controversial but it’s kind of an ugly city. There’s nothing particularly of historical meaning or value. Some of the older neighbourhoods are kind of nice, but the last 25 years they have only built giant glass skyboxes, one after another. There aren’t the cool “missing middle” walkups like in NY, Chicago or Montreal (or even LA). There are very few buildings with much architectural character. Some of the buildings they deem “heritage” here are an embarrassment.\n\n9) For safety, honestly on this score I think Toronto is not bad. There are not too many real “ghettos” and it’s night and day compared to much of the US. With that said, there is more vagrancy and social issues these days, with tents and such. It’s very sad but the shelters are full, lots of homeless go into the libraries, parks and transit system. It does make it harder to enjoy these public amenities safely. It is nowhere close to Europe where you might let your kids run free around town. Canadian parents still helicopter their kids and the place again is not designed to really be safe for kids, in the same way as Europe.\n\n10) Finally, a bit of a double edged sword. Toronto had a lot of youthful energy - people coming here from all over. It is definitely not as sleepy as many parts of the world. With that said, it is becoming a bit of a transient place (minus the world class experiences like London or NY). If you are from elsewhere you might find it hard making and keeping friends. I’ve seen lots of people struggle because it’s is hard to build a strong social network. We have a very “shallow” culture here - people are extremely polite but not overly warm and hospitable. We treat one another kind of like neighbours - meaning we’d like to have a cordial, drama-free coexistence and otherwise kind of stick to ourselves.

Have visited many countries for on-site business work, including Canada but India is good despite all the chaos, espcially South India. Over 95% Sikhs are just like me and patriotic and Love India, but yes there are issues in Punjab which need to be addressed...\nBut a large portion of the blame sadly goes to Sikh politicians. I want to tell the youth that Khalistan is a waste of time and politicians in Punjab, especially sikh politicians are completely bullshit. They are corrupt and have no vision and rely on rural votes which is sikh majority and Jazbaati over every issue and largely into farming. The Punjabi Hindus, baniyas, aggarwals and Jains own the urban economy and are comparatively more practical and forward looking in life. Many of these sikh politicians sadly themselves are involved in drug, own illegal abortion centres and labs, and even coaching centres to send students to canada on fake letters in exchange for a lot of money...\nI want to tell the youth, There is a lot of good opportunity in India. I know Punjab doesnt have much as of now (hope someday one of us can take our experience and setup a startup hub there), but other cities like Pune, Hyd, Bangalore, Mum, Chennai etc are good and once you have a stable job, its quite satisfying. Punjabis especially Sikhs are also loved everywhere by common people. Please dont spend your money on fake asylum letters and Canadian Dreams without thinking and planning.

I’m sorry, but that is really disgusting. We do not need more immigrants. Our infrastructure and medical system is already burdened. Not to mention the government often pays for everything for them for the first year so they think they’ve got it good and suddenly when they can’t get a job, because Canada may not recognize their degrees, then they are struggling again. And sadly, if they are Muslim, sometimes they just don’t want to integrate they just want to live their own ways here, but have a better life in our country, and that’s not fair to us. That’s just my big overview and don’t get me wrong in every day life, I have some friends who are Muslim.

If I can afford a home, why would I want to leave? The housing crisis is a big deal for many. You can't find suitable rental in the GTA when you make well over 120k cad a year. It's not just the barriers in professions. It's the lies about prosperity and growth fed to the immigrants. You just need to work hard, and you'll live your dream is a lie. Immigrants end up eating from their savings instead of saving. Fix the housing crisis, invest in public education and health, and no will will want to leave this beautiful country. The more you earn, the more you are taxed and if you are a single earner in your family, you're punished for it. I don't want to go out and work and leave my kids in daycare when my husbad is doing a good job. I don't want my kids being raised by strangers while me and my husband struggle to maintain a decent lifestyle. When 120k isn't enough for a family of 5, it's time to leave.

With no ill meaning let me say good, this is best for everyone. They were lied to when they were told we could afford to take them and had the means to support their transition into our work force. We were lied to when we were told they'd fully integrate and are doctors and lawyers and yadda yadda. The reality is we had no real system in place to verify and transfer their qualifications and credentials. Doctors couldn't be doctors. They needed the work, we needed the doctors. It was a lose lose.

It’s been 5 years for me here and I honestly can say I have achieved nothing in my life yet. It scares me when I think I can’t return whatever my parents had invested in me. The fact is you’ll never have a good paying job in Canada being an immigrant. When I say this trust me I mean it. Most you’ll get is a minimum wage job which can make you survive the life here. Taxes are high definitely and what I feel is you’re working to make someone else’s life easier. \n(P.S: people who’ve stayed in Canada will understand who I’m implying to)\nNo one wants to be your freind, scope of socializing is zero coz mostly it’s cold round the year so everyone hardly come out, especially in Northern provinces like Yukon, Saskatchewan, Manitoba.\nHealthcare is a joke. If you feel sick and not well and you wanna see a doctor be prepared to wait for hours and hours. I once had stomach infection and I had to wait 5 hours till someone could see me. I asked for painkiller at-least so I could bear the pain but they refused that as well. You might well see someone you love dearly and with whole heart die in-front of you and you could do nothing. (I’ve experienced it myself hence saying)\nYou’re a lone survivor who’ll always keep fighting. \nThe only person who can make money here is businesses and high paid jobs which are reserved to Canadians. We need good political system

The problem is very serious, on the one hand they let in people who are not contributing and giving added value to the country, quite the opposite, and on the other hand Canada has fallen far behind countries like Germany, France, Spain or the US , When bringing qualified people for specific fields, what is the difference, two things first, the ridiculous Canadian experience, is nonsense, the other even more ridiculous, the paths for recognition of all types of credentials do not even match the needs of the country and less than when those laws were created, they are completely out of reality, the paths were created by a person without the slightest vision, the aforementioned countries never ask for experience and the path to recognize credentials is easy, above all fast and practical, that is delaying Canada!! and it is leaving it very far from what it was, with so many good professionals who do not work in their area thanks to the terrible policies. \nThe result, true professionals go where it suits them best.

The underlying problem needs to be addressed: the reason we *need* immigration is because citizens arent getting the support and opportunities to start families, get higher education, work in rewarding labour and essential service jobs that can keep us out of food banks and precarious living. Fix all this stuff and we won't need to import voters, further driving us down the spiral.

People think of Canida as great. Wide clean open spaces, Free Heath Care, No Trump but a lot of people either don't follow threw or realize quickly that its also snow and wolverines and bears and higher taxes and learning French. Im shore all places have bad and good, but I feel like people are rushing in with out considering all possibilities. You may enjoy the Hocky and the moose and the pleasant locals but it snows in October and the sun stays out after midnight. Everyone has their own experiences. But the hospital incident I can relate. One time I took my son in emergency and the doctor gave anesthesia to my son in his finger and then got busy worh other patients and when she came back the affect was almost done and when she gave cut in his finger, he was in real pain and I was literally in tears. \nAfter few years when my situation was grave the head of the department herself took permission in the meeting for my immediate MRI which takes longer if you not in dire need.\n\nBut she gave the perfect review. Never come here to study in college. You won't get anything except wasting your money. For me it's been 20 years here. Life is not easy at all, but I'm used to it. May be because I don't need friends to share happiness or my sorrows. I'm a strong woman and can handle my ups and down. \nLife is all about paying bills and bills here and I now I don't have any regrets, so I'm okay with it. Winters are good as long as you have proper clothing and shoes. I never had an issue.

I always wondered why I had to be here when the snow tilted between 45 and 60 degrees in winter and hit my face at 30-40 km/h.\nquality of food, transportation, service from employees, speed of processing time, etc there were many things that made me really unsatisfied being living in Toronto.\nsame, at the first time I came Toronto, everything looks great. but not anymore \nI'm korean and I feel really unsafe when I go and live abroad. Korea, Japan, Singapore mainly all Asian countries are top 5 in safety all over the world I think. \nAsia especially Korean and Japan have great service, quality of food with reasonable price. I think I don't need to move foreign country. \nmy background is in South Korea but I can say living in Toronto Canada was horrible and harsh for Korean. Because of multiple reasons but the harsh weather is the biggest for me. Feels like winter in Toronto is 7~8 months long if I compare it to winter in Korea. Fall and Spring?? No, they don't have fall and spring and it's all winter. they have snow in early September late April or May. It was horribly hard because the cold air from the arctic and really powerful wind came all together. even though the weather and temperature look a little bit off from Korea, Canada has a much more harsh location with weather. not only harsh weather but they do provide really embarrassing experience such as expensive payment for everything, a lot of factors disturb me from leaking money. I don't think Canada is a good country. my view of this country totally has been changed 3 years ago.

You r used to spoon feeding in india so. In foreign country we need to do anything. Thats y u felt like that. If your kids want to do drugs they will do even if they r in india. It depends wat type of friend circle he chooses. And 2 months is very less for your judgement in any foreign country. Yes if u want good life u need to struggle for few years.

The problem is people who did not get seats in good Indian universities look for an easy way out. To go out and work abroad, you need good English and good basic subjects. Scamsters exploit these hapless youngsters who did not make the grade in India.

Our Health Care system is broken. We have very bad doctors and insane wait times. Our Health Care is tax funded and it's impossible to sue the hospital if they misdiagnose or mistreat an illness. When you pay for your doctor you will get the best care. Not up here though. One thing per visit and you must see a medical clinic first, if you can get an appointment. My last 2 visits were 14h wait times, and that's at the biggest hospital in BC. \n\nWe don't have free speech. We heavily tax our poorest people. Our gas is over $2 a liter. Food is very expensive especially at fast food places and restaurants. \n\nOur internet is third world at best but with some of the highest data costs in the world. \n\nWe have a run on our borders and our infrastructure is bursting at the seams. We put the needs of other countries before our own. Could be a good thing but not when helping the world is making it harder and harder for those born here to actually live and thrive here.

I thought ur going to share some serious issues bt this are common in all countries except our home country. I agree with you for 50% Here its completely independent life style . Once u start living here u wil know ur capacity and be proud of urself like u can do all ur works by urself. Missing family members and loneliness is definitely true. Education is much matter in india that is also true. And last wt u said was 100% true if ur earning good in india no need to move to other countries u can hardly save 50k to 1 lakh compare to india . To just save this no need to come so far from family.
