I am not really a fan of the tariffs Trump is imposing like lightning with Canada. I do think they should stop the walk thought to Us boarder security. I think they should however be an equal partner in securing their boarder. I don’t believe it is as much of a fentanyl thing but maybe I don’t know enough details in that.

Typical Americans and Trump. Sign a free trade agreement and then when you feel like it just violate it for your own interest. They only play by their own rules. If Canada violated the agreement they would all over it. A while back they tried to nail Canada with 4 billion in softwood lumber tariffs in that they claimed Canada violated the free trade agreement, which they did not. The arbitrary trade council which oversees both countries ordered the USA to pay back Canada the 4 billion. The USA never did. Trump claims Canada treats them unfairly yet they are the ones who violate the agreements. They are the poor trading partner. Canada should trim the exports to the USA significantly and find alternatives. Just cut out the corrupt Americans led by a convicted criminal.

Way to go Canada, USA business will just stop shipping to you and what are you going to do without USA goods and services?

I hate that Canada is having to stand up to my country, but I'm glad that they are willing to. We are going down a very dark path and as much as it pains me to say, I think that distancing themselves from the US is a very wise decision.
