I am Indian living in Canada and I hate a lot of what these new comers from India are doing. They are exploiting immigration system, tax system and everything they can without any bit of shame. These days most crime comes from only one state in India. Most Indians dont even want to live in Brampton or Surrey, I definitely dont want to live there !!!

They all want a fine room at a downtown hotel in New York, 4oo dollars a week without having to work, American Dream

Indians are like Chinese.. They don’t respect rules. They take what they can take without regard to norms.

The housing crisis in Canada is partly due to 4 things \n1.Restrictive government policies on apartment construction\n2.A lack of tax incentives for building affordable housing\n3.Rapid increase in immigration without sufficient housing supply, \n4.High rates of unemployment or underemployment

Why is this a news item ? Canadians are struggling and chances of recovery seem difficult. Canada needs to deport millions including students, refugees and temporary visa holders in order to ensure Canadians have employment. Canada is not in good position and its economy is struggling and if the trend continues there will be riots on the streets. Canadians are not able to food on the table and there are many without roof over their heads.

These people are INVADERS ! COMING WITHOUT DOCUMENTS ! or Fake students and FAKE tourists from India or Punjabi means They are INVADERS

No need to protest. Just overstay your visa. You won't get deported or fined....after all You indian all working in supermarket and as securit, so without you there will be no food and security hah???????

Instead, they create workplace tensions to drive out the locals, and once they got onto managerial positions, often conduct preferential hiring towards people of their own ethnicity / village. \n \nThis trend must stop. \n\n1. Someone who has a desired skill, and are ready embrace other cultures, should apply work visa. \n2. Someone who is a scholar, or geniunely wishes to study in foreign university, should apply student visa. \n3. Someone who is a mediocre opportunist who wants a quick backdoor to a job or permanent residency in other country, should not disguise themselves as a student. \n \n\nNot that hard.

This is caused by sanctuary cities offering free living expenses without having to work. The want it free so much they are willing to over run CPB and even injuring officers to get the free life.

Why are housing prices so high, when you can just not pay rent and live rent free without eviction? Seems like I wouldn’t want to invest in the real estate market if people can do this easily.

We have many Indian people occupying jobs, working for less and leaving other Canadians without work. It's not fair!

Why doesn't this guy mention how we don't do a good job in Canada of screening people who come here? He doesn't want to admit we have a problem here with that, the government has lowered standards and removed restrictions in order shovel more and more people into the country without properly assessing them.

Poor, one sided journalism. Canada often denies visas even to retired members of Indian security services but never denies visas to veterans of Western countries which have a mile long documented record of human right abuses in foreign countries in Asia and Africa. Canada gives visas to criminals and gangsters from India, even citizenship! Canada now wants India to give visas blindly to Canadian citizens without checking their antecedents, particularly relating to issues of attack against Indian sovereignty and terror links! India is not Canada and India considers visas to foreign citizens a priviledge extended, not an unfettered right. Actions have consequences and India, unlike Canada, takes terror related issues and foreign conspiracies working against integrity and sovereignity of the country very seriously indeed. Canada does not get White Man's Priviledge in India. That boat sailed a long time ago.

If i look as a german guy , you can rent a house in calgary for 1200 € brand new , if you look here in germany you rent a appartment with 4 room's you pay 1300-1400 € (2338 CAD) without extra costs. I pay 3607 CAD only for energy for 4700 kWh for a year.

Same thing happening in Italy .i was talking to my nephew in Rome, he works as a janitor at school, he said there were 20 East Indian pupils out of 30 in one class! Post war Europeans immigrated to North America and built this rich continent with SKILLS and hard work without any demands, now these people come and they expect things on a silver platter! It is Canada's prerogative to formulate or revise their immigration polices as they think fit, without any discrimination towards any country or national.It is true lot of Indians especially from Punjab migrate to Canada after spending huge amounts of money even by selling their land. Rents and forget about buying a house in BC, AB, Quebec, Ontario. High unemployment, Inflation is high and going up more. We also do not have a military defense system and the U.S. is tired of Canada not spending money to meet their responsibility as a Nato country. Many Canadians are leaving the country permanent. Investors and businesses are pulling out. Canada is trillions in debt but keep printing more money (toilet paper). Canada has gone downhill significantly over the past ten years. Born Canadians and legit immigrants having to go through a rigorous immigration process are very unhappy and cause conflict. Besides all the different ethnicities cause unrest and are ungrateful, daring the burn the Canadian flag, uttering death to Canada, death the US and Israel. These trouble makers have not intentions to assimilate into Canada's culture and are disrespectful to the Canadian government and it's citizens. Our youth are very unhappy and do not see a future for themselves yet have to work very hard and pay unbelievable high taxes. A extremely high cancer rate, young and old, diabetes, depression and other mental disorders are rampant. Our children and grandchildren do not have a future so why bother going to school or work. Our kids live on the streets, shelters, camping in the woods and using fentanyl and meth all kinds of dangerous drugs. The cities and small towns are full of used needles, pipes, and more paraphelia just thrown on the trails everywhere. The US will not assist Canada when a possible War 3 will occur, and we the people of Canada and the land are easy prey. If you do not believe me, just come visit RED Deer shelters and walk around on the trails, go to Vancouver but becareful because random assaults are happening every day, people living in tents, using the streets as toilets, drugs galore, even the police is unable to act nor arrest criminal activities caused by desperate people who need to survive. Canada's economy is about to collapse and fall into a recession. We have too many people coming in our country without checking their back ground and many criminals and terrorist groups are entering declaring refugee status whether it is true or not, we do not know. Student visa’s always been easier way to get in to any country, and yes, easier to get in Canada than any other country. Go home and apply for permanent residency like others do so through proper steps! No more student visa as the back door to get in this country. If universities can’t run their schools without fees from international students, they should shut it down. Canadian universities are a joke with poor quality programs and faculty members. They need a complete overhaul.
