It’s a disgrace. Citizens who had gone to the U.S. to work are deported, return home heartbroken, and are met with no words of support—only to be told they have no place here. Such cruelty is beyond comprehension. The excuse that they were in handcuffs is absurd. Whether they were criminals or not, if there’s a chance they were treated unfairly in another country, shouldn’t their own government investigate first? A government that can’t even protect its own citizens can hardly be called a sovereign state. Now, these individuals face a future of detention if they return to the U.S. or a life abandoned by their nation, left to wander like outcasts. A president like this is nothing short of a devil.

Well, maybe the Venezuelan and Colombian citizens leaving their country should ask their leaders to help them with air fares since these leaders are worried about their citizens dignity ?

Now why would a Colombian president refuse a transport playing carrying his own citizens?? Hmmm...

Invade their airspace and have the migrants parachute back into their nations. What does that tell you if these unstable Latin American nations refuse their own citizens?

Civilian airlines for criminals, safety risk. The US has a trafe deficit with most countries in the world, including Columbia. So countries need to be responsible and take their own citizens and look after them.

Once a president is allowed to do something like this, it just shows me that he doesn't respect people's basic human rights. We are opening the door to him to do whatever he wants to all American citizens. None of us are safe.

In my opinion… if those other countries won’t take back their own citizens… offer the illegals an opportunity to withdraw their patronage of their home country denying them to ever go back and grant them citizenship after serving 1 year in prison or serve in our military for 4 years for illegally crossing the border breaking American law.

He didn’t refuse to let in its own citizens, US didn’t followed the protocols, it’s not only about dropping off people in a military plane without no info and communication, there are agreements between governments and no one has exceptions, quit misinforming.

The police acted surprised when they discovered the migrants were all handcuffed and leg ironed. They were removed, fed, showered and returned home by Brazil.\nThis was big news throughout the Latin countries.\nThe Colombian President would not accept his civilians being treating as criminals. Colombia ?? sent a plane to pick up their citizens without the mechanical restraints.\nColombia has now imposed a 50% tariff on all American products and seeking other countries to partner with, in effect shutting out the US. This is gonna be so good for china’s ?? economy

Are deportees verified as USA citizens before being loaded onto planes. We should be concerned that expediency will establish the precedent that may make it possible to strip 2nd and 3rd generation citizens, or anyone who this administration wants to silence.

This is a much easier fix than what’s being portrayed. We need to make the ability to become a temporary citizen easier than it is. Background checks, usable skills, and political or criminal affiliation. If it’s not possible to access, so is your entry. I support my president and my nation completely and yet I still understand that the deplorable conditions of these broken nations is something I too would want to escape from. By making it so impossible to legally enter, we’re funding the criminals who will do so illegally. \n And can we talk openly about the real issue as well? It’s time for the U.S to clean house too. Government officials taking bribes from the Cartels and making it harder for us to put safety measures in place. We have to stop being in business with these criminal elements. I get it, the money’s being used to fund our military initiatives that tax dollars can’t, like in the 80’s with Contra, but how many U.S lives have to be lost to secure a foreign policy???

Other countries could treat citizens of the US with the same courtesy. It's impressive how such uneducated and arrogant people see themselfs as the center of the world.

You know what I liked about Biden's Open Door Policy? It didn't exist. Truth is Biden's administration deported more illegals than Trumps first one, and Obama deported more than the two combined, but you didn't hear about them, why? Because they didn't take Victory Laps, they didn't use fear and hate as a political tool. Biden and Obama ran a Professional Operation, it wasn't half-assed, sloppy, or ham-fisted. And do you know what half-assed and sloppy creates? It creates Mistakes and breeds Escalation, that's what scares me the most. We've already seen the mistakes, legal citizens picked up, sooner or later, and probably sooner, the Escalation will come, somebody will do something really stupid and blood will start to spill.

Tells you that other countries know these are bad people that they won't even accept their own citizens back.

Why? Those are their Citizens.

These leaders really need to call an Emergency Meeting and figure out a way how they’re going to pay for the International airfare for these natural born citizens returning to their home country. Not doing so would put their own people at risk and create a humanitarian crisis.
