you need a certain amount of money to live on for 2 years plus job prospect plus no criminal record a good edjucation to come here legally so Canadians that pay super high taxes do not need to worry about taking care of people that think they can just come here and exspect its people.to support them and there families .You cant get welfare for 2 years either.We need to keep Canada a.smart and wealthy country .Yes we can help some in very bad situations but we are.only as strong as our weakest people . If that caravan reaches US soil...I have no doubt they will go straight towards Canada ?‍♂️ then they will try to change our culture history and the housing market will suffer. why not just make your stay here legal? stop hiding, pay taxes, gain rights, live in a house and get a job. if youve been hiding in a church for 15 years. youre not doing your family any favors. just do what it takes to become legal. i know its harder said then done these days but its gotta be better then hiding in a church basement for 15 years. plus you need rights, you need to be able to call the police when theres an emergency with out fear of deportation. come on! one time i hit an illegal with my car. destroyed the back end. i felt so bad! i have great insurance and wanted to take care of their car, and make sure they got checked out at a hospital but they refused cause they didnt want to get in trouble. their car never got fixed.... even though I wanted to fix it! i mean come on people supporting illegal imagrants are puting them in danger. they need to be given a path to legal citizenship and stopped from entering with out doing so.

As someone who is more liberal minded, I don't agree with illegal immigration (I'm also pretty fiscally conservative). I'm open to the idea of healthcare for all, I'm open to legalized pot (even though I hate pot), I don't agree with most wars, and I don't give a rats ass who someone marries or who makes your cake. But all those things are for CITIZENS. That CITIZENS should have. Not someone who comes here just because they think everything is free, don't need to learn English and probably not pay taxes. This is supporting something illegal. I wish democrats could stick up for this country, rather than certain demographics. I believe we would never lose again if they could do that. This is the reason healthcare for all cannot be talked about right now. We have people thinking they can come here and do nothing with how things are now. Imagine if healthcare was free.

We are putting refugees in hotels and motels temporarily because we have run out of public housing and shelters....unlike the States we take care of those who needs help....I don't mind paying higher taxes if it means we have a better education system, health care for all, less crime etc and most of all a most just society....

We don't have jobs and housing for Refugees. A lot of Canadians already need help and support from the government. If you're coming here, do it the right way. We do want liabilities here because there's nothing for us already. Don't take away our pension and tax from us.

From what I heard coming from other source .Also when I see them at food banks taking home more than $150.00 in groceries from just 1 food bank they goto 9 amonth .their cell phones are top of the line .Clothes and shoes brand name only .Gold jewllery ladys purses $300.00 and up .And they all have cars from 40 thousand and up . One place i never see them is value village .How do they do iit ?I had 2 kids and on welfare a few years back and I had a hard time trying to get some things that we badly needed and could not afford and things were a lot cheaper .The most I ever spent at no frills been on assistance was $75.00 for the whole month .6 years ago and no cell phone gold. or cars .So how these people do it ?oh and by the way I go ti no frills once a week .Those same refugees are there every thursday spending $500.00. on goceries and none of them work .Some time neighbours talk and thats how things are know .Our government is a big lier .We the tax payers are paying for all of these Once a refugee of this country one canot be sent back or deported so if this refugee never finds a job you the tax payer and I will pay for his or her assistance and maybe for a life time .like in the case of gypsies refugees they are all on assistance go to all the food banks rob the community of their belongins their cars items from stores donations in front of churches and stores they dress the best also spend hundreds of dollars on food they shop for clothes at the mall and we the tax payer brake our backs 6 days a week 10 hours a day like me and I cant afford even half of what these people can .So even if they become criminals we have to support them .Some refugee law and rights should be changed to ensure that tax payers are not been taking advantage of .

I am a TPS holder from el salvador for about 20 years with 3 kids born in Tennessee. and that program will end in September 2019, , i have to go back to my country and there is nothing i can do to stay in this country usa that have gave me everything what i have ; a beautiful family and a house that i am selling for 300,000 a nice car Toyota camry selling for 7000, a Nissan Frontier selling for 8000, a HVAC technical diploma and a good hvac job(60,000a year) but i just woke up and i found out that this dream already ends, ,,,,,,,,,,,, but i am not crying feeling like a Donald Trump victim.........guest what? Canada have a point based migration system that i qualify,,,,,,,requirement are; 60 percent English, high school, a trade skill training, or a degree or a diploma, no felonies, no debts, 2 or more years of experience in a skilled trade or profession, and 15000 dollars, also you need a a job offer on a level A,B and C for Atlantic Canada and a job offer level A and B for the rest of the provinces, i got all of these requirements,,,since i need a red seal for my hvac trade i only qualify for the Atlantic Canada on a level C,,,,,,,,,,,,i already fill it out all the papers and transcripts my high school and took my English test in Nashville,,,,,,,,,,,so i guess will be in a matter of weeks that i will receive the letter off invitation to emigrate to Canada,,,,,,so amigos gringos i can kiss goodbye uncle sam land,,,,wish me good luck,,,,as soon as i enter Canadá i will get on my knees and kiss the land of that great nation that i will settle in New Brunswick with my lovely babies and my lovely wife, i will show my babies to love and give their lives for Canada very well,,,,psss and don’t worry about the 315,000 dollars amigos gringos, uncle sam will tax that

He is not speaking English and expecting to find a job in English speaking country? To answer your WHY THE PENALTY TAX, it has only been that way the last few years, the idea if UNIVERSAL HEATH poisoned the USA. Canadians and Europeans kept insisting the USA needed GOV MANDATORY HEALTH, and some morons in the USA listened to you and now we have the penalty tax. The answer - families don't have as many kids. Why? Kids are expensive, and when your giving over half your salary to the government, having no kids may be your best option financially. So the government responds by keeping taxes high, and making up for smaller family sizes by recruiting immigrants from the Philippines, Nigeria, Sudan, etc..
