The cost of food is the same as England £4.50 for strawberries ($8.00), £3.00 ($6) for milk, and £5.50 ($9) for cheese but gas £2.90/L ($4.10/Litr) way more costly in England. It seems like it’s mostly Canadians who ONLY know Canada and immigrants who expected life to be magically easy and handed to them… ? ?‍♂️ I had to learn to be grateful living outside of Canada, the whole world is facing inflation right now! Europe and North America. But Canada isn’t as bad as many places. But then again, I’m not a quitter. The best way to survive is getting a good education and a stable and high in demand career. Nurse, doctor, teacher, lawyer, dentist, psychiatrist, etc etc. Then you will find you might complain a bit less ?

It's sad to see you being pushed out of Canada. Unfortunately this is happening to a lot of people but what we're witnessing, especially over this last 10 odd years is the symptom of the underlying problem we have. It's happening in Europe, the UK and the US as well. We are losing our young people which IS the future of this country but unfortunately when they see no future here it's normal to start looking elsewhere. Wherever you have decided to move to I hope it works out beautifully for you. While you are away, maybe, just maybe we can make Canada an attractive place to lure you home again. I'm in LatAm and I can say that the difference in quality of life compared to Canada is getting smaller and smaller very fast. Not because it's getting better here. It's Canada getting worse. It's bad someone gets treated this way . But the real question is why these people are going to the country whose Ideology is totally opposite of their. The problem here is that the roles that are required to be filled are expecting experienced people or roles in high demand such as on nursing and medical services.\nFrom my POV German employers are cheap Bts, they don't like to compete with other employers on wages, and German Governments have obliged and effectively changed the labour market rules to favour a race to the bottom on wages. In many ways the merchantile policies to lower labour costs are there to keep domestic demand low and the economy focused on exports. This means that the wealthy families that run the big companies will only get richer while the common folk will struggle.

Many of my friends who studied Masters here in Germany are struggling to find a job and yet they say we need skilled workers. Where are the jobs.\nFor language issue why can't you work with companies and give conditional offer to employees that in 2-3 years you have to be fluent in German and give them an opportunity to learn the language and integrate.\nBut did we see this no and yet they say we want workers..Yes you will get people obviously the world is big but not the quality one and in some time your situation will become like of France and UK.\n\nAnd though I have finished my Master and working in a company for very less salary still i regret my decision to come here leaving my well paid job in my home country was the worst mistake. \nBut now i have to find a way out from here

As to why, all those immigrants don't start building new houses and apartments in some suburban extra land upon arrival??? That's fucked up and it makes really freaking mad. I worked so many years and over times for what. I got chronicly ill didn't work for 3 years and got SSI and I don't even get $900 dollars. Migrants just walk over and get $1,400 WTF I'm a citizen who came here legally and paid my way ? I have nothing against migrants but darn you get all those benefits why then give them so much money. I got deported from Canada for having an overstay on my visa tried to get it fixed but couldn’t was very expensive so came back to Europe which is going the same way as Canada mass emigration scary how quick it’s happening.

Canadian immigration is a joke. I earned a masters here from a reputed university, spent so much time and money, 6 years later I became a permanent resident. I was so grateful. Now, anyone with a sob story in the name of “persecution” can just come here and actually get government money for a good while to settle in. And now, we have entire flight crews just simply “claiming” asylum. The government has made everyone who took the right channels, faced so many hardships in the way are effing losers who could’ve just gotten in through the many bogus channels. i love this country, but it has gone to the dogs steadily since 2015.

Western welfare and assistance programs used to be support systems for needy citizens. But in last 20 years its become a buffet feeding frenzy for the rest of the world to just get into those nations any way they can, legal or not, to get in on it as its an upgrade to the standards of where they come from. But we cant support it anymore. Government policies have not adapted to the changing world. Only citizens should have access to this and legal vetted immigrants. Any illegal immigrants or refugee claimants should stay where they are until their applications are approved. We are stretched beyond our limits.

Same problems everywhere. Its not racist or far right to demand a limitation of immigration. In Germany its very difficult to find room to live. Often the state pays for the rent of immigrants which makes it way more difficult for German inhabitants to get room to rent.

As a Canadian, I think it's pathetic that we're making it so easy for migrants to come here then sneak south across the border. I wished to move to Canada 12 years ago. I am American. I was told that I needed a job and that job NEEDED to be filled. This would allow me to move there. I didn't move. Now with the migration crisis, too many immigrants at one time will overload the system and overpopulate a country. I fear with the climate crisis constantly reshaping our futures, that immigration will be an ongoing problem for the entire world. I believe countries must plan for even more immigration waves due to climate change. The Earth is changing...people will be moving to save their lives, to have a future. As human beings we must adapt to these pressures and changes in our planet. Make it livable, or else face the consequences of seeing millions of people die because you were unwilling to open your borders. There is room, just get rid of the greed. This planet , its peoples,must find ways to live together. Education, to keep the planet healthy, stop overpopulation, keep the air and water clean...stop the greed are the goals we must strive to follow.

I know this because I took a trucker course 5 yrs ago and to obtain your class 1 or 3 cost 1.5 thousand dollars NOT 10 GRAND. I’m immigrant from Iraq. Came in 2009 and I can say Canada has immigration problem. There’s no way you are getting these students back to India. When I came to Canada I came because I wanted to make it my second home. A country that I’m willing to actually fight for. These guys are here just to make money and send it back to India. They don’t like Canada they don’t like Canadians they don’t care about the country and the land. They are here to milk Canada and it’s effecting Canadians. When a store whole operation is run by Indians do you think a Canadian will get hired?

A tenant of mine - a social worker - shifted a homeless man into an empty apartment in my house without asking for a permit. First of all these are not refugees as most of their countries are considered safe and they have also crossed many safe countries on their way to Europe. The only true refugees to Europe were the Ukrainians as European countries were the first safe countries they could reach. These are economic migrants who chose their destination by the benefits they will be given. These are also people no one in the world wants. I'll admit I could be more educated on this but also why is running to America the solution. Watch our news. They use this for political gain. Yes, you might get away with a year or 2 of not paying rent, but at some point, you'll get evicted, and your name will be on the Openroom website, how TF then you'll get a landlord to accept your application then ? You might saved 20 or 30K, but you'll spend it in few months living in a hotel hoping for someone to rent you their place

I been living in el pasonfor 8 years now. And when I first moved here I barely ever seen vagrants or homeless people. During covid it was a ghost town downtown. And now you drive down town it's 100 homeless illegals on every single corner and 40 in between the central park down town can't even see the grass cause so many illegals are camped out shitting on the street and in the bushes. Crime shot up by 300% in just 14 months. It's about to get wild here in the states because millions more illegals are on the way as I typed this
