It’s really very simple. Just look at Singapore, Switzerland, etc. How often do you see their citizens leave such countries for another? Almost never. That’s why.\n\nIt sounds like she’s trying to make an argument that this rule shouldn’t apply to Indians because India’s economy is powerful. You need to convince this fact to the Indians who are leaving India, because if you can’t even sell this point to those Indians leaving India, then you don’t even have a case.

I’m not Indian National however I feel proud that this nation has build ‘herself’ as the 5th largest global economy and if some of the following ways are adapted by Indian Gov, the Indian passport will be saluted.\n1) Make your currency strong as in Raja Ranjeet Singh’s time 1 Indian puree was ten (£10) British Pounds, today it’s 100 Rupee to £1.\n2) Need to hold educational tests for everyone going abroad with a minimum level of English language.\n3) Emphasis on etiquettes and local Knowledge of the country where the traveller wants to visit.\n4) Stop all of illegal immigration via people smuggling agents as this gives a bad name to the country.\n5) Set a minimum benchmark amount of funds required before applying for an overseas visa.\n6) Make it mandatory for all travellers to have a full fare return ticket (12 months validity) on them at all times to show strong ties to return back home after trip.\n7) Create strong religious tolerance and harmony within the country so the world can see no religious discrimination being reported on international media worldwide.\n8) The Indian embassies all around the world should be aware and weary of each Indian national traveling abroad in real time so they f any help is require they can assist 24/7 without failure.\nThese are some of my points and opinions for a better India.\nI hope the people who read above will not be offended by any of my opinions as this is not my intention and I am well wisher and want to see this nation thrive, always.\nGood luck and all the best…

Give the break down by reason for rejection. That's the real story. This story is more about Indians believing they are entitled because of the size of our economy. We'll that can only get you so far. If you lack civic sense, if you lack education, if you lack financial means, if you lie or plan to migrate well then you deserve to be rejected.

These countries should be prepared to refund rejected visa applications. Just a small service charge, those countries take the money and return 70%-80% of the balance. That's fair. Then you will know what real rejection is.

Palkhi as much as I like watching your news your views here need to address real issues. I am a proud Indian who has lived in the UK for over 50 years. However I have to say whilst there are a lot of highly skilled Indian immigrants on work visas who contribute immensely to this country. however we now have a huge community of Indians those who have come over on illegal documents or on holiday visas and then never go back. They end up working in menial jobs or not working at all and perhaps this is an issue India needs to address. Sadly these immigrants will never be an economically contributing asset to this country or any other country and I am not surprised that the visa rate rejection is so high.

I live in Canada. A citizen now, love this country but India is and will always be a home. Canada is facing hard times currently, which is being faced by every country now and then but even the cause root of all these problems Canada is facing right now is coming from somehow from India. The most disruptive and disturbing people are here from India only with no civic sense. They come here and do not value the Canadian culture at all. They do all sort of illegal activities and try to do jugaad in everything, from which we escaped from India. Even on political grounds, the man who somehow messed up everything was under the influence and pressure of the man having Indian roots. I love India without a doubt but we can’t deny the real facts why Indians are being hated everywhere. People in my community here ( whites, First Nations, old Indians) love me and my family because they know how we respect the culture and values and laws of Canada. But there, where people don’t know us personally, we get judgemental eyes because of our colour and we know why, it’s not all of us, but still majority of us have destroyed the image of India and yes Indians deserve to be banned now. It's not just about the largest economy we need to consider the real fact for visa rejections, one of them is not respecting the visitor visas restrictions i.e. overstating and working without work authorization. I have seen so many Indians selling fruits, flowers and gift items illegally on the streets of Europe and Americas.

Indian govt must grow some kahoonas and reciprocate the same conditions and hoops for tourists from usa, UK, Australia, nz, Europe that are subjected on indians.
