So, those old fat rich SOBs will NEVER let young immigrants introduce new ideas, setup new startups and get frustrated and move to the US. Canadian government has to adopt Australian model for immigration and student visa. I lived in Australia and in 2009 indian students protested against Australian immigration policy , Within 6 months of crackdown 1200 low quality colleges were shut down by government and thousands of international students including me were Struggling and left Australia but that was i think good for Australia. Same needed to be done by Canada. 70% of students come to earn money and do 2-3 jobs and Canadians are struggling while employers getting cheaper labor and making money..

My Brother moved to Germany more than 50 years ago ago got a PhD from university of Gottingen got married kids are 1/2 German very well placed in high paying jobs but he still lives in rented large apartment as he finds it cheaper the to buy his own place !

Canadian born population is busy in drugs , doing labour job. Parents never saved for their kids education so they are working in Stores earning minimum wages. As cities get costly, they go far and far to earn livelihood, selling their homes to immigrants who bring and earn good money and then complain that cities are filled with immigrants. Why protest? Student visa is only for studying, that means you don’t have work permits to apply for permanent residency as per you visa guidance, if Canadian have enough jobs only to get a job for work permits, if doesn’t need to go back, you didn’t pay any taxes for our country and wasted taxpayer money

Indians have come into our community and taken over all our resources. My community use to be multicultural. Now all the jobs are taken over by indians and people are afraid to speak out in fear of being called racist.

All indian students are getting married and bringing their spouse and parents to Canada. How it's possible? Also getting pregnant so when the baby is born they can be a Canadian citizen. When they come as a student How come they get the security job in Canada? When they come as a student they have to study and go back to their country. Because they say when they apply for student visa they show that they have money. So use the money and study & go back. Canadian immigration have to stop giving them the work permit. So the Canadian's can get the work.

At the least, international students should not be allowed to work here. If they really came to study in Canada, thry better study and do not go to Food banks and collect free ration or work in Tim Hortons to make money. If they came to canada as students it means they hail from filthy-rich families otherwise how can they afford? If it is so, why do they have to work here? Local students are not getting jobs. Especially, PNJBS & other INDNS have become a MENCE to canadian economy.

Go back jobs for citizens

This is ridiculous. The majority of the homeless are homeless because they don't want to work the jobs. As a greenhouse manager, the local people don't want to work the jobs that the foreign workers work which is why we are required to bring them in in the first place. I have had many local workers try working in the greenhouse only to quit within weeks because they couldn't handle the work or even the heat that is required. So how are we supposed to depend on local people to do the work? The would be a worker turnover every 3 - 6 weeks. With this program we can bring in people who WANT to do the work because its a better opportunity for them than what they have back home. This is NOT the way to fix the homeless problem. High rent, high taxes and high economic standards are the cause of eat. People cant AFFORD to buy food, pay for living costs and even survive in todays society. This foreign worker programs ALLOWS us to get the work done. \n\nForeign workers brought in on the SAWP program or even low skill program aren't stealing job, they are doing the work that Canadians don't WANT to do as they can't handle it or even believe it's beneath them. Todays youth will never do the work that these people do for us. I respect the work that they do. I would love ANYBODY in the comments below to come to my farm in the middle of summer and spend 8 - 10 hours under the sun for a week and then see what their opinion is.

No it's economic survival. Our kids can't find work. TFW are taking jobs in fast food and retail, not agriculture. Their money gets sent home. It doesn't stay here and it doesn't benefit our economy. It doesn't support all of our social programs. If the next Gen can't get even part time minimum wage work then down the road who's paying for healthcare, education, welfare, CPP, OAS etc?? It's about time!!! The Harper Conservatives opened the floodgates of immigration with the TFW program and then the Liberals opened those floodgates even further. Im Canadian. Born and raised in Canada. I dont know anyone personally that goes not want Indians here in Canada. There might be some racist people in Canada but I dont think there are many. I do find Indians ive met have been kind but I do find they dont look happy. Maybe they didnt find the job they were thinking they would ne doing. We are very used to different cultures in our communities. Yes there is a housing crissis in Canada. Its hard to find doctors and you have to settle for a walk in clinic.
