The fact is Foreign countries will accept you as a refugees and grant you the Citizenship and if you work there for a several year's you will be granted a Citizenship but on the other hand if you work & stay in Middle East for a lifetime you won't get a Citizenship even if you are a Muslim. \nThe reality is we muslim dnt have togetherness that you will see in Bohra and Punjabi community.

Good that most immigrants integrate well and prefer to stay, and the free education and health care helps in a big way than countries without that. Sure there's room for improvement.

I just do not understand why they do not choose a country closer to the ones they are fleeing!? Saudi, UAE, Kuwait and why not stay in Turkey? Why travel so far to the West, to an entirely different culture? What is the reason? Does anyone know?

Why bend over backwards to these people ... just look to the UK ... stay home and fix your countries hold your politicians accountable instead of going to other countries destroying their identities !

Here in China, housing is so expensive that many young people give up on dating and getting married. Unlike in Western countries, where immigration is often blamed for housing issues, the core problem here lies with those who already own property. Why can't they stay in their own country?

Its happening all over the world. the UK is currently having riots because of this very problem and also religion differences.. its tragic. perhapes everyone needs to stay in intheir own countries and fight like Zapata did for mexico not run away from it

people are confused. Immigration is Not the problem, accepting immigrants without money/ investment/skills is the problem. If u only accept highly educated individual or someone who can bring/invest a sum of money in your country, then immigration is a positive move considering the current population of most countries are declining with a lot of senior citizens.\n\nThe money these legal immigrants invested will help boost the economy of the host country, create jobs and etc.\n\nSolely blaming housing price because of the influx of immigration is not the whole picture, if the host country can establish a strict system of requirements for the immigrants to meet, and cap the number of immigrants per year, immigration can be a positive for the host country.\n\nAn army of Uber delivery immigrants will only pull the country productivity down because they need a place to stay and they cant contribute much to the society, thus, the housing price going up.

I am English and when in the sixties I wanted to live in B C Canada I had to go to the Canadian Embassy in London with my husband for an interview….How I loved it, My husband went first and got a job straight away and i went six weeks later …My son and grandchildren are Canadian but sadly none now live in Canada…….Trudeau has ruined your wonderful country and the influx of so called migrants has destroyed it ..We now in England are overflowing with people flooding this country that have no business being here ..Why don’t they stay in their own country and build it up instead of coming to ours and dragging it down to the cutter….

Who would be against immigrants who obeyed immigration laws, followed every legal steps and waited patiently, then worked hard and honestly after they came, and became a decent and respectful citizen? No one.\n\nWho should be against immigrants who abused the system, jumped the line and got into the country or stayed in the country, by filing fraudulent claims or simply went underground, then worked illegally, or simply undermined workers' rights by accepting less than minimum wages, or jobs which totally disregard regulations required by law? Because our prime minister wants to win the next election, and he's willing to ruin our country to do it! There is no need for people who refuse to accept our ways, language, etc. If they want to make it like the country they left, then stay there! If you refuse to at least learn the language, you're not welcome in our county, it's pretty simple. It is so sad that middle eastern countries and their people believe in and run their governments by the Koran. If all of these people want it that way then they need to stay where it is the rule. Immigration is a privilege, not a right. It’s their country, their rules. \n\nI’m an international student too, and I’ve worked in the U.S. for 3 years on post-graduate work VISA on a high-skilled engineering position. But I failed to get my U.S. work visa since it’s a lottery process. Despite wanting to stay, I have no grudges against possibly leaving. It’s their house, it’s their rules.

Our university age children all hold US passports. None are planning on staying in Canada after graduation. One has already left for Europe. Why would any young Canadian with options elsewhere want to remain in Canada when mainstream political thought believes it sensible to flood the labor market each year with hundreds of thousands of people, the overwhelming majority coming from two countries.

I like multiculturalism and this country is founded on immigration. But we need to put cap on each country when receiving them so to maintain the balance of good mix.\n\nI get bothered why this guy statistically divide white vs others. In the end this land belongs to the indigenous people none of us. \n\nAnyways, most of my friends from Western Europe, Japan, Korea and Singapore - first world nations, have already moved back after couple of years of living here. Aa a dual citizen myself, I plan on retiring in my other country.\n\nThis country has to realize if they receive massive influx of people- they need to invest and build more infrastructure. Look at Gardiner- it's constantly on construction mode. Hire more surgeons and make better family doctor system. This government only legalized marijuana and brought more problems. We used to live near Trinity bellwood and the park is now filled with used needles. \n\nAs for homelessness, it's always been there and it got worse during economic depression (2008 mortgage crisis) and current prime rate/inflation situation. Even if you study stats from government subsidized housing, most immigrants work and get out of help but the old immigrants (whites) usually don't flip out of the situation for generations. So there is no reason to tie and blame the Indians for our old problem of homeless population. Stay on point and stop tying it down with non-related issues.

I am living in India and planning to go us but still i don't support immigration at such large and bombarding scale. There should be some eligibility to stay and strict laws on deporting if they fail the eligibility( like willing to embrace new culture instead of propagating their culture and try to make it their home country) Remember that most the people are leaving their country because of trend and society influence they live in. If my life was at risk and/or I couldn’t go from poor to at least middle class in my home country, I would leave too. So many Americans are leaving America, because they can’t get to the middle class or they would financially struggle here. Whats the difference? Oh right, they’re coming and they’re poor. I have only been in Canada for seven months now, but I noticed a few things about its economy that led to this mess. I noticed that Canada has no globalized companies, meaning the government only makes a little money from doing business with other nations. Businesses here are lazier than their neighbor, the USA, or even in my country, Vietnam, which could be due to a lack of competitors. Cad also has the biggest forest reserve and largest oil deposit but is the lowest exporter. So I wonder how on Earth it stays in the top 10 wealthiest countries with such lazy activities. Up to this point, foreigners are the biggest income of Canada; this country is truly built on immigrants. To keep the country running, it must attract more foreigners. Without int' students, how much do citizens have to pay to keep schools running? If you view it differently, the government also sells the PR through SV Visa because, let's be honest, if millions of investors have invested, there should be something or at least one globalized company, but there are none. From $75k to $200k, foreigners can buy PR for every family member. It is considered affordable for Asian families compared to the USA or Australia. On top of that, another scam is a carbon tax, which means the government needs to learn how to make money rather than invent taxes and sell dreams to foreigners.

They move into a country and demand that everyone conform to their ideology. It's ridiculous. If you like it so much stay where you were.

I have little sympathy for people from a religious background that is fundamentally patriarchal, sexist and fascist who then demand asylum but refuse to assimilate and value local laws and traditions. Countries in Europe don't owe these people anything. Go to Iran or UAE or stay in Turkey. You will be happier in Muslim majority countries.

I am from Poland, a country which is attacked by weaponized migrants. We have never invaded anyone, or been bad to anyone. We've been the victim throughout the last 200 years. We've clawed our way to prosperity very slowly but diligently, and now we are expected to just allow everyone into our country, without them respecting our history, language and traditions. We are a monoethnic society, and thanks to that we are one of the safest countries in Europe. And it will stay that way. Not a single illegal migrant will cross our border, and Poland will never change into a migrant hellhole like the UK or France. We will defend our country, as we once did against the Nazis and Soviets, so will we defend ourselves against forced change of culture and banditry.
