What we need to do is start a nationwide boycott of any canadian company that currently employs international students as more than 10% of its ENTIRE workforce.\n\nAnd a federal law that prohibits a company from hiring more than 10% of it's staff from anyone that doesn't currently posess a valid canadian passport. If a company is found in violation.. their business licence is automatically, immediately, and permanently revoked.... not just suspended.. but cancelled and the business shut down.

as an international student myself, I do believe canada NEEDS to work on in this situation, International students pay 5x the tuition and get exploited by these agents they have back home. Simply put, shut down colleges for international students and if you want to study get into a university and ACTUALLY study something rather than going to some diploma mills.

Why would this be any different than what Canadian students do after they are finished with their education.. Shut down the foreign student programs and this will contribute to reducing the housing pressure. Less foreign students will result in reduced rents and allow post secondary to be more feasible for domestic students. Investing in domestic students in essential for Canada's long term growth as opposed to this short sited tactic of training foreign students who leave. Also, encourage domestic students into the trades as we already have too many with university educations. We need trades people more now than ever... the housing shortage is a great example of this.

They need to get rid of those consultants back in foreign countries who misguide kids to take up useless courses in those shady colleges. College/Universities needs to prequalify students before admitting them to a particular course and by that way it’s easy to filter out candidates based on the current job requirements. Having a territorial cap is just a smokescreen by liberals. Canadian economy doesn’t need more sandwich makers or food delivery drivers, be it be in Saskatchewan or Manitoba. Territorial cap is actually gonna backfire because it shuts doors to intellectual kids who would foster innovation and drive the economy. \n\nWe need politicians who could think logically and voters who promotes those !

Diploma mills need to be shut down. We're becoming a joke internationally for our education. We cheapen it overall and thats just bad business for Canada internationally and internally. Schools should be providing housing, we shouldn't allow unaccredited schools to be allowed to accept international students. Accredited schools want to being em in to learn they better provide the supports so that were not putting kids in jeopardy like this.

I totally agree that this country will break your spine and test your ultimate willpower. Me and my wife came here 5 years back and we decided that we will shut ourselves like a tortoise. Forget about savings and forget about everything else. Only and only one goal we had in mind is that we will live in the basement and earn top dollars. Just to give you a perspective. My first pay was 19 dollar per hour and my current pay is 87 per hour. My wife started with 16.5 per hour and now earning 69 per hour. Even though our income grew substantially, we never raised our expenses. Answer to all problems in Canada is income. Now after 5 years we bought house worth of 1.4 M. We moved out of basement and felt immense pride. We paid 37% down payment and 3 banks approved our mortgages in a heartbeat. No debt at all. We paid up our car in full. Just a regular new suv nothing fancy. \nEveryone is different, we all are unique and I believe you took a right decision. Each and every word you said in the video is true. \nWe cried , we fought , we felt that our life is ruined but we both thought that ek bar to Canada ko harana hai. I’m American from New Jersey my husband is from Alexandria Egypt we have a house there that his parents lived in until they passed away we use to go for 6 weeks every couple years last time we were there was about a yr before she passed now his sisters just watch over our. House I told my husband I kinda wanna sell it and buy a better one cause it hurt me when we went the last time to be in my bedroom because I knew that was my father in law’s favorite place he could go in and shut everyone out but losing his ma I don’t think I can handle going in there now
