the problem with Trump is he's like a big child along with his monkey Vance
2025-03-04 0
How many people grew up in Divorced families with arguments and name calling and all the insults? I’m just wondering because the way our president in America is acting along with JD Vance and all the MAGA politicians they all act like those parents with the constant negativity and verbal abuse that all the crap that they put the American people through!!! How many times has our country gone through anything serious within or outside of our country? I am 62 years old and I can tell you there has been many, but we have never had a president / vice president and all the politicians on one party sit there and act the way these IDIOTS act! I was just thinking about this because of the constant stress I feel on a daily basis with this administration! It is a public disgrace as our trailer trash parents fight in public! Makes you want to run away!! I cannot stand the people responsible for what we are experiencing in our country right now! I blame Trump, Musk and all those American that voted for these idiots!! F” off!!

I'm European and I really can't understand how you can make an economic trade war with an ally like Canada, a close and so friendly neighbor.... A dumb decision not only for the W Post... And all of this will end up heavily impacting Americans as well, also because besides Canada there is Mexico, China and the whole of Europe. In such a war there are no winners.... I really hope that the American people understand this and start fighting for this nonsense to end. \nAnd when I then hear President Trudeau called governor.... Well I get even more angry. This shows even more (but there was no need) who trump is. A suburban bully. A rude man. An unscrupulous man who passes over everything and everyone.\nAmerica is turning into something I no longer recognize....\n\nKeep going Canada!

When our friends are doing what our enemies would like to do, what are they? Our enemies too. This is a miserable move from Trump
2025-03-04 0
So, has the USA under Trump turned into a Russian asset.?\nSeriously, the rest of the civilised world especially us in the UK are looking in open-mouthed astonishment at the behaviour of the nominal leader of the free world.\nAmerica is morphing into a broken and divided society, but in the meantime, you're scaring everyone else guys, including your historical allies, because Trump is untrustworthy, he's coming across like a gangster who sees everything as a opportunity for self-enrichment.\nTrump is looking like Putin's Poodle.\nPutin really has got him on a collar and lead, definitely his yappy little Handbag dog..!!!
2025-03-04 0
I don't think this is about drugs or border issues at all. This is about Trump wanting to rule an empire like his hero Putin.
2025-03-04 0
Thank you president this is what a president looks like not what the United States has Donald Duck has missed the United States completely up we are so sorry I did not vote and put him in but those that did this is what you get for putting Donald Trump in office everything he said he is doing so sad?????❤❤

Canadian is crying. Will be tough for them if they rise usa tarrif tax. Look like he is dump to copy Trump tarrif.
2025-03-04 0
Come on... We know why Trump targeted Canada. Its because he was upset when Justin Trudeau was caught on a hot mic back in 2019 in London when he was talking about Trump's press conference. Trump is a child who likes to get his payback for people who he believes wrong'd him.
2025-03-04 0
Yo Trump, Canadians are wild, bro. They may be polite and all but not in a fight. They know how to fight dirty… like really dirty. Buckle up American! Ol’ boy Trump gonna get us in a big mess.
2025-03-04 0
Trump as he announced wants Canada and Greenland that is why those tariffs are in place , that is why why he thinks of Putin like his hero and giving on Ukraine. Tariffs war is just a beginning
2025-03-04 0
You say this Trudeau at the same time people are blaming you for your country’s economic failures. Like trump said “ we don’t need you lumber, oil, cars, and milk” . Let that sink in.
2025-03-04 0
I am Canadian and wonder how long will it be before Trump starts to invade Canada like Russia did to Ukraine
2025-03-04 0
It’s nice to see Trudeau talking like he has a pair. He spent the last 9 years destroying the Canada so let’s not act like all our problems today are Trumps fault. Too little too late my friend. You should’ve woken up earlier but it took Trump for Canadian politicians to realize oh wait maybe we shouldn’t have all our eggs in one basket ? - from a Canadian
2025-03-04 0
Trump it's dump like a rock
2025-03-04 0
Trump doesn't care. . . just like the first time he was president, US farmers lost their farms or got bailed out. Many of the US farmers killed themselves. . . Trump just doesn't care. . . He just does what Putin says, whose goal is to divide western countries.
2025-03-04 0
How Trudeau stands there with his head bombers lying to the world, he thinks we don't know about what he is trying to do to us, just go away and leave our country alone now he helps Ukraine destroy there country under the NWO right under there noses, everyone should beware of Justin Trudeau and Mark Carney, he tries to make it look like Donad Trump is our enemy knowing it is him himself who plotted against Canada
2025-03-04 0
It's more like Canada vs. Trump..... NOT Canada vs. America
2025-03-04 0
The only reason Trump set tariffs on Canada is because he would look like a racist if he only did it to Mexico. I have a feeling soon Trump will lift the tariffs on Canada citing that Canada has complied with his requests. He will keep the tariffs on Mexico though.
2025-03-04 0
As an American who didn’t vote for Trump and thought Kamala was too right, this is like watching a sinking ship, but I have to watch the people who drilled the hole realize that it’s not such a beautiful feature for a ship.?
2025-03-04 0
Has Trudeau become more attractive since resigning as PM? lol or is he just bluntly and deliberately screwing Canada up by talking down to Trump like that; knowing it'll become Pierre's problem shortly... lol
2025-03-04 0
Trudeau and the country Canada are also been gifted and lied to by Donald Trump all the wonderful things that he said that he and Donald did together we’re all self-serving for Donald. He never has any intention to keeping allies happy that chainsaw that they broke out on the world stage is coming for everybody. But guess what we’re not gonna stand for it. They thought they were pandering this to a bunch of sleeping idiots but we’re awake and we have been awake. What a decent and humanitarian president going to figure out how he can help Canadian businesses whether this storm while Americans are left in the dust with their cabinet of curiosities screwing them over with no way to survive. I can already hear Trump’s read to the media. Canada has not done enough on the final on fentanyl they haven’t done enough. I told them they had to do XYNZ and they haven’t done enough. He’ll lie to everybody all over again, like every day of his life, the biggest liar.

With friends like Trump who needs enemies?
2025-03-04 0
The United States has become an unreliable world leader and trading partner, which will not put America first. The USMCA trade agreement between Canada, Mexico, and America, initially brokered and lauded by Trump as “terrific,” is now being scraped. The stated reason, a national security threat due to fentanyl originating from the Canadian border (approximately 43 pounds in 2024), is bogus. This pretend “security threat,” allows Trump to circumvent congressional oversight and undermine constitutional norms. Canada's historical contributions to the United States are extensive, including WWI, fighting Hitler in WWII for two years before they joined the fight, declaring war against Japan WWII after Pearl Harbour before America did, was 25% of D-Day’s landings, support during the Iranian hostage crisis, after 9/11, in Afghanistan, and during natural disasters like Hurricane Katrina and California wildfires. However, Canada is now being treated transactionally, with a lack of respect to a historical friend and ally.

Canada is already heading into an economic crisis, and what Trudeau just did might be the final nail in the coffin. This is his last big mistake — and he’ll soon blame Trump’s policies to cover up his own failures.\n\nLet’s be clear: Trump’s tariff policies aren’t some random attack — they’re based on a simple reality: The U.S. doesn’t need Canada. Here’s why:\n\nEconomy Size Comparison:\n\nU.S. GDP (2024): Over $28 trillion\nCanada GDP (2024): Around $2.3 trillion\nThe U.S. economy is more than 12 times larger than Canada’s — the leverage is completely one-sided.\nTrade Imbalance:\n\n75% of Canadian exports go straight to the U.S. — Canada’s economy depends on the American market to survive.\nMeanwhile, only around 12-15% of U.S. exports go to Canada. The U.S. can replace Canadian goods easily through Mexico, Europe, or Asia, but Canada has no backup plan for losing U.S. access.\nPopulation and Consumer Base:\n\nU.S. population: Over 330 million\nCanada: Around 40 million\nThe U.S. is 8 times the market size, meaning American businesses would always prioritize the U.S. market over Canada.\nNatural Resources & Energy:\n\nCanada’s oil, gas, and timber exports rely heavily on U.S. buyers.\nThe U.S. is already the world’s top producer of oil and gas thanks to its shale industry — it can easily survive without Canadian energy.\nCanada, on the other hand, would struggle to find new customers fast enough to avoid collapse.\n\nDefense & Global Influence:\nThe U.S. holds dozens of trade agreements with major powers like the EU, Japan, South Korea, and Mexico.\nCanada’s economy relies heavily on U.S. investment, which could be cut off or redirected if necessary.\nBottom line: Trudeau is dragging Canada into a crisis of his own making. He’s gambling with his country’s economic future, knowing full well that in any economic war with the U.S., Canada loses — fast. When the fallout hits, Trudeau will shift the blame to Trump, but the facts are clear: Canada needs the U.S. far more than the U.S. needs Canada.
2025-03-04 0
It's almost as if Trudeau doesn't even know who Donald Trump is! Speaking to him directly and addressing him as Donald instead of President Trump is a blatant show of disrespect. \n\nGuess what Canada. We don't need you for ANYTHING! I already boycott Canadian Club. Not for political reasons, but I don't like drinking bever piss. And I'll start buying my maple syrup from Vermont. So, you keep your shit, we'll keep our shit, and good luck to you.
2025-03-04 0
Sorry Canadians. Trump is a a psychopath like Putin.
2025-03-04 0
Trump uses drugs as the reason we all know that is not true. Trump has to be the feared leader, as he cosy up to Putin. Trump likes isolation he wants America to be Russia allied We the people will survive but know that gaining our trust back will not be easy but we are up for the fight. We will not get in bed with a country that is siding with Putin
2025-03-04 0
BTW, Zelenskyy is Giving in to PRESIDENT TRUMPS DEMANDS …, SOoooooooo I guess PRESIDENT TRUMPS Tactics worked. NOW YOU LOOK LIKE A WEAK DUMBASS for saying what you said, robertedward7023
2025-03-04 0
Putin is not playing Trump, they are allies.\nTrump do indeed do dumb things, but often what looks like stupidity is just evil. The US is now in the hands of Vladimir Putin. In the end russia won the cold war.

The Mexican President CLAUDIA SHEINBAUM writes to Trump and Musk on behalf of THE REST OF THE WORLD:\n\nSo, you voted to build a wall… Well then, my dear Americans, even if you don’t know much about geography—after all, for you, “America” is your country and not an entire continent—it’s important that before you lay the first stone, you know what you’re locking out with this wall.\n\nOutside, there are 7 billion people; but since the concept of “people” doesn’t seem to interest you much, let’s call them consumers instead.\n\nThere are 7 billion consumers ready to replace the iPhone with a Samsung or Huawei within 42 hours. They can also swap Levi’s for Zara or Massimo Dutti.\n\nQuite comfortably, within six months, we can stop buying Ford or Chevrolet vehicles and switch to Toyota, KIA, Mazda, Honda, Hyundai, Volvo, Subaru, Renault, or BMW, which are technically far superior.\n\nThese 7 billion people could also cancel their Direct TV subscriptions and—even if we wouldn’t like it—stop watching Hollywood movies, opting instead for Latin American or European productions, which are superior in quality, content, and cinematography.\n\nAs incredible as it may sound, we can stop traveling to Disney and instead visit Xcaret in Cancún, Mexico, Canada, or Europe—there are many incredible destinations in South America, Asia, and Europe.\n\nAnd believe it or not: There are even better burgers in Mexico than McDonald’s—with higher nutritional value.\n\nHas anyone ever seen a pyramid in the United States? In Egypt, Mexico, Peru, Guatemala, Sudan, and many other countries, there are pyramids with fascinating cultures. Take a look at where the wonders of the ancient and modern world are located… None of them are in the U.S. Too bad for Trump—otherwise, he would have bought and resold them!\n\nWe know that Adidas exists, not just Nike, and we can start consuming Mexican sneakers like Panam.\n\nWe know far more than you think; for example, we know that if these 7 billion consumers stop buying your products, unemployment will rise, and your economy will collapse so severely within your racist wall that you’ll beg us to tear it down. We didn’t want anything, but… You wanted a wall? Then you’ll get a wall.\n\nSincerely, \nTHE REST OF THE WORLD. \n\nPlease forward this message to 12 people. If you don’t, nothing will happen—except that many people won’t learn about these realities. \n\nCLAUDIA SHEINBAUM \nPRESIDENT OF MEXICO

When you look at the various things that have happened in the past few days it is like Trump is directly enacting Kremlin policy. What the hell is going on America? You need to wake up!!

As an American and a Trump supporter, I agree with these tariffs, but only equal to the tariffs other countries charge the United States on our imports. I do not agree with imposing this on our brothers and sisters to the north. I’m speaking of the good people of Canada. I have traveled to Canada and crossing the border was just like crossing into another state. Yes, there was a border gate which there should be, but I had absolutely no problem whatsoever. I hope our government can work this out very quickly and stop this foolishness. But to countries like China and Europe the United States should charge a reciprocal tariff as to what you charge us on our import. It’s only fair. Why are we paying an exuberant tariff for our goods entering your country and you expect to pay nothing with your goods entering ours. Most Americans, love Canada and love our Canadian brothers and sisters, we’ve always supported each other in world, wars, and other attacks against our respective countries. I pray this is resolved quickly, and then we can once again live United and in harmony.

I’m an American. I admire Canada as an Ally and neighbor. I can’t imagine a better international neighbor to have. The people there are kind and strong. The Trump administration is single-handedly trying to tear down alliances. To what end? Most likely self enrichment. I’m hoping for a normalization of relations as soon as possible. I don’t want a trade war, or any kind of war with Canada. ?? ??
2025-03-04 1
Interesting. So it sounds like Canada just started last year with stopping drugs from coming over the border...remind me, how long have drugs been coming across? Bluff called, Canada, you were abusing the United States, until Trump came around...shame on you, too late. And like he said, this will be tough. But drugs stay out, child trafficking stays out.

While I don’t agree with Trumps tariffs, I understand why he’s doing them. As a Canadian citizen, please don’t glamorize Trudeau- hes a spoiled rotten brat of a former PM. Nothing more. You’ve not lived the last 10 years under his totalitarian govt, suspending the rights of Canadians at will, insulting and dividing our country at will, taking away legal firearms owners rights rights at will (people who had to pass safety courses and are more vetted than RCMP officers). \n\nHe’s proven to be more fake than a $3 dollar bill. All the liberal & ndp’s in Canada are. He has the worst record in Canadian history as a PM, including the highest taxes, home prices, massive, unsustainable immigration, and the worst healthcare crisis in Canada’s socialized medical system since its inception. \n\nHe’s accumulated more debt than all previous PM’s COMBINED (as per the PBO). \n\nThen he comes on here after he resigned on Jan.6th - yes after cratering Canada’s economy methodically for the last 10 yrs - to inflame the POTUS and who will pay for that? Canadian and American working class citizens. \n\nIf you think Canada is so great, you’re either a wealthy boomer, or have no clue what it’s like to work for a living in this modern economy in Canada. People are required to work 2-3 jobs just to afford the basics. Wages have been stagnant since the 90’s here, with cost of living rising 600-700% in the last 10 yrs.

Trump could never even remotely deliver a speech like this ❤️
2025-03-04 0
Agree with Trudeau here, and as a Canadian conservative, that’s not something I say easily. But let’s get real here. Trump is NOT a smart guy. He has cratered most businesses he’s started, he has no understanding of economics whatsoever and he speaks like a five-year old. Conversely, here in Canada and around the world (including many in the US who are voicing heir support here) we have A LOT of smart people and an enormous amount of good will, and we will persevere and overcome. Bring it MAGA!
2025-03-04 0
When trump recommended terrifs everyone cried “oh that will only hurt Americans” but then Canada does it in response and everyone cheers? Like isn’t he by your own logic now screwing Canadians? Which is it people?
2025-03-04 0
This is what a sane logical leader sounds like...please watch this video Trump
2025-03-04 0
LOL, I like how he didn't say President Trump , because no other President see him as a president but as a russian asset.
2025-03-04 0
As a Canadian, I am proud to see our Prime Minister answering directly to Trump. Mr. Trudeau spoke like a great leader of our country, we are with him and with every Canadian against an unpredictable predator. I'll support our governments in any actions that will be taken to answer to this attack.
2025-03-04 0
seems like a stupid idea to respond like this. why not instead react by removing the tariffs you already have on our country. that would end it immediately. this war was started long before trump took office. if you think were going to let you continue ripping us off then good luck with that.
2025-03-04 0
It starts to look like Trump is on pupose isolating the US so he can roll it up in a compleet dictatorship that nobody will stop him to do so. Like Putin creating rule by the super rich which are no more than pupets he keeps on a string.
2025-03-04 0
I love Canadian people I do not like your leader. He sounds righteous today. Make no mistake of the Skeltons this man has. I do support President Trumps decision we neen to make changes for our country as do you guys have to do. Better days are coming us all things will get rough for a while. Loll to your leader to do his part for your country. He needs to get creative business wise instead of putting blame. Why is your leader looking to fight he should be thinking about how to solve problems and create business. I love Canadians We will get through this. Bucket up thing will get rough for all of us we all have to make changes. We believe in Donald Trunp and the many men and woman that have stepped up to change this country. May God be with us all may we get thought rough times may these wars come to and end.

America is in good hands. In God we trust. He is doing a great job through Trump. Darkness does not like the light therefore it lies, manipulates, controls, and twists the best interest Trump has for America and her people first. Gods will be done for the USA though President Trump. According to God's will and plans.
2025-03-04 0
Like many Americans, I am embarrassed by King Trump.
2025-03-04 0
Everyone likes to talk tough against Trump and then in the end they capitulate to him.
2025-03-04 0
Canada's $63 billion trade imbalance is a bigger issue. your telling trump the last time he was in the white house you would be spending 2% of your GDP on the military by 2024. Now you say you will get to 1.8% by 2027. Open your trade. Like JD Vance said we can keep going up on Tariffs until you balance trade.
2025-03-04 0
This is Trump killing the stock so he can buy low and sell high IF he leaves office. The only president to not divest and place assets in holdings. He plans to make money.\nAnd if Polievre wins elections, he is a Trumpster, and would likely toss Canada over as the 51st state.
