Very interesting and an opportunity to understand a conservative Arab Muslim view even after decades of living in and benefiting from Western society. \n\nOne question: have you ever looked at the HDI ranking of societies and reflected on how it is that the bottom half of the ranking is where almost all Muslim majority nations rest (with the exception of the oil monarchies of course where sales from oil, oil that is contributing significantly to the global warming that is harming the Earth in a way that brings to mind the verses of your Quran about fasad-fil-ard and the command on Mankind as part of its Khilafah to uphold the Mizan or balance or else be of the transgressors, make up the main reason for not being in the bottom half of the ranking)? Hi Alina, If you can stand the quietness, relaxed lifestyle, cold weather , cheaper rent, and friendly people, live in the maritimes, Manitoba or Saskatchewan. There is a share of rude people (more like drivers)in Calgary and Toronto. Both are still considered fast-paced!\nPeople in Calgary used to be very friendly in the 90s, not as friendly anymore! No where in Canada is perfect though.\nI will really choose Lethbridge and Medicine Hat over Calgary or Edmonton. Calgary is getting more busy and people more in a rush!

Masha'Allah, I enjoyed your video. As around 8-10 years ago, I embarked on a similar journey, leaving North America for the Middle East, Far East, and South East Asia in search of a country with Islamic values and environment. However, I eventually returned back due to witnessing too much hypocrisy and lawlessness in those places. Unfortunately, there isn't a single country in the world that can be considered a true Islamic country. If you've found something that fits the criteria, please feel free to share. Honestly, I can't claim it's 100%, but during Dr. Mahathir's time, Malaysia seemed around 60-70%. The main challenge was the language; learning Malay is essential to fit in better. English is widely spoken and understood, but proficiency in Malay enhances the experience. As for Turkey, UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Pakistan, they fall short at the 20-30% level. May Allah SWT bless you, your family, and guide you to find the best fit that meets your religious needs.

Thank you for sharing. I really hope you find a warm muslim country. So many muslims around the world appear to want to escape their native muslim country for economic reasons or for reasons of persecution. It would be great if you could share with us, your discovery of 3 or 4 muslim countries that would encourage other muslims to gravitate to.

Dubai. Yes it’s not perfect and more westernized but at least you live in a civil society there. \n\nWhy Dubai is super attractive is because of the ease of setup there to get residency if you know what you’re doing. It can be done rapidly for you and your family. If a country opens its borders to Palestinian refugees, they facilitate Israel’s objective of flattering Gaza and ethically cleansing the land to allow for further expansion and illegal settlement. Israel want to get rid of Palestine and all its people, chasing them out and killing those who are too slow. By standing their ground, the Arab world are forcing the west to see what they have supported and see what Israel are doing and encouraging them to change and to act and to stop the genocide. But it is also at the expense of tens of thousands of lives and an entire nations facilities. The Arab world are letting the bodies pile high until the west can't look away any more. I understand both sides of this and dislike both options, letting Palestinians die, and letting Israel take Gaza by accepting refugees. I can't say I support Saudi Arabias actions, but I also would feel the same if they opened their doors to refugees. Neither one are the right solution, and only we westerners can make this stop. And believe me, I am trying to do my part. I have signed. I have shared. I have donated. I have protested. And I will continue to do so until there is a free Palestine

Great comparison by these ladies. Wanted to share my thoughts about\n1. lack of color in cold countries- mostly Colors are representative of nature's palette. So brown, greys, blues, black in canada due to the weather & animals like wolves, bears,. India's bright sun & animals give us vivid clothing Colors.\n2. Food tastes better in india because of the climate again. Canadian veggies & Fruits are shipped from west índies & other warm countries so by the time they get here, distributed to grocery stores they are no longer truly fresh

Very good objective video. I grew up in Toronto and had many great experiences in the city as well as commuting from west Toronto into the city for five years of high school (grade 9 to grade13). At an very early age I used to fearlessly ride buses, street cars and the subway system with no concerns of crime or potential violence in my mind. I wouldn't suggest this now for a young person unless you have 2 or 3 marshal arts black belts in your resume! The very same circumstances exist in Vancouver...quite possibly x's 2. My family and I now live a short distance east of Vancouver, but the city has changed about 10,000% since I lived there from the late '70's to the late '90's. I don't mind saying that I believe most of the problems/issues in Toronto, Vancouver and many other cities in Canada have been accentuated by poor policy decisions at all levels of government...municipal, provincial and federal...particularly since 2015 aka the J Trudeau era. This is so sad that you are leaving. I agree that things are going down hill. I am a Christian and I think that if families like yours and families like mine lived in communities together, it would make a big difference because we share many of the same values.

This concerns statistical data in Canada. There is a problem in distinguishing between a worker who has two part-time jobs and a job vacancy. When a job requires prior experience, companies tend to look for workers with the necessary skills from other businesses instead of hiring one. Sometimes, businesses even share a job with their competitors. This looks good on paper as job advertise, but it is similar to creating and buying your businesses from your other businesses to increase your revenue value on the market.

Really good answer indeed, because the whole whole should be responsible for peace in every corner of the world. However, he smartly ignored the fact that Palestine claims are based on muslim ideology, and hence muslim nations do need to take a larger part of the share in this burden. Obviously, no one wants to leave their land, but no one wants terrorists to win as well.

I came here on 28 August as international student in Vancouver from India and just after 4 days I left canada on 1 sep and came back to india. It's shocking to say within 4 days I returned back, canada is not worth it, people from all world are mixed there it causes problem of fights and #other matters, survival is difficult and cold conditions, that's why population is less there, it is aim of govt that's why attracting migration towards canada but not worth it, we're going there by leaving various things in home country such as home, car, family, nation, property this is foolishness by leaving all utilities of life and to start again from zero in Canada it is big foolishness aslo by leaving nationality, doing struggle of just settling, In my view , we have limited time in life, we're having things and doing hardwork to do those things agin in other nations, its better to do in own country. It doesn't matter opportunites are there in Canada etc, every nation has opportunity, you're from Singapore it's best country do there not leave nation, everyone not have to migrate all have to do in their home countries. In comparison of my country india, canada gone too back from India serioulsly, food is not fresh there freezed fruits same fruits and veges in stores for months, if you like this then reply back I can share my personal and known friends ground REALITY experiences with you..

I think many Canadians are soooooo disheartened to see the government’s failure to live up to its principles of justice towards the current genocide that is taking place in Palestine.

I came to Toronto when I was 11. 43 years later, my wife and I are getting out. We are even looking at getting out of Ontario, possibly Canada. It is impossible to afford to live here, and jobs aren't available if you don't look too diverse... there are tons of empty boarded up stores increasingly in the GTA and it reminds me of parts of Buffalo in the early 80s. It has changed too much for me. Thanks for sharing, we realize we are not alone.

Im single with no kids and it already worries me sending kids to public schools ? This craziness is getting only getting worse. I would love to go to an Arab country to continue practicing as a nurse bc I feel like PK isn't the safest in the cities. But im still looking at my options. :( SADLY true! I left in mid 70's as I could see housing being unaffordable even then for middle class. Only gotten worse and YES, foreign $$$$$$$$$ OWN the best real estate, leaving them empty! I start to wonder if there's anyone who is not struggling in Toronto unless rich? I got a well paying job, not even my own place (shared house with too many people) and a car and an estimate of 70-80% of my income is used for monthly bills. You don't even get the basics in this city without struggling. Looking for alternative but rental prices seem to be high everywhere even in Kingston and other places far away. Food prices are insane, going out has become very expensive. Don't even mention all the taxes and high car insurance rates. Feel stuck. It's a nightmare.

Having done a similar voyage, my two-pence is that, resources permitting, at least until you have really properly tried the other country out for a period of time, I'd recommend retaining a base, even if a small one, in Canada, leaving your longer term stuff there rather than packing everything that you own and dragging across the world. In my experience, the most enhancing and liberating situation is one where you get to enjoy the privilege of being able mix the best of the two worlds. When abroad in the other Muslim country you will have great moments but - guaranteed - also a fair share of disappointments and negative experiences. Even if you think you have thought of everything, you don't know what you don't know, or how you may feel, or what and where is better, until you've spent a longer time over there. I could write a book by now but will just leave you with go, explore, see, try, but ideally have an easy way to come back to Canada to regroup (to potentially try again, better and differently with a bit more experience). Singapore is a tiny island, where else can you go; you just circle around the same spots there. So basically, canada is is a country of introverts?! Nice. No wonder I virtually never heard of canada on the news because you guys are so quiet and keep to yourself. But funny, you guys side with terrorist state of 15@h377!?See that's why you guys can't live like hermit. We share this world, so when there's trouble somewhere rest assure the trouble will get to you if you're being indifferent. You guys need to learn to live with your community and be active in social activities.

And for all those times, i ignore him, but this Isnotrael-Palestine war has made me consider it.\nMalaysia is very beautiful, people are friendly, food is amazing! This is so odd for me because I am having a similar experience, but in the opposite. I live in a small town in Michigan, USA that is very Christian, conservative, and republican. It's very much a place that I want to leave (so maybe in that way we are similar?), but most of my family lives here so it's difficult. I crave a sense of community where I can be surrounded by like-minded people. There is a feeling of division, one that I think is amplified by social media. I don't want to add to that separation, but it seems like there's a hard line in the sand and you're on one side or the other. \n I could never move away from my home country! It's so weird watching other people do it, and it makes me think about the people who stayed during mass exodus in, for example, Scotland. It's like, I share ancestry with Scottish people, but they don't have an immigrant-based background. Ya'll stayed? How does that work?? And here I am, staying. Does that make sense?

Your better off movie back to your country. Don't move to another country even if it has a higher Islamic population. From what you shared on third video it sounds like you will be relocating again and again. It gets expensive and it will hurt your kids in the long run.
