Is it the same for people coming to visit but under sponsorship?

I left Canada 18 years ago, never want to go back or visit once.

If Perpose of visit you won’t be leaving that easily. Everyone want the coprate and government advantage game like US. Rather than “to gather the great Canada”

Canada is dying. Soon there will be no Canadians left. To many Indians are taking over Canada. When I visited I swear I was in India.?

Sheridan College management visits India to promote Sheridan College, to bring International students here desperately. I strongly recommend to cut the funding for Sheridan College. Sheridan College management, Union and Unionized Employees are all part of this. Sheridan College only cared about their own profit and greed. In fact, I believe Sheridan College's Brampton Campus should be shut down. That will save Canadian Tax Payers money. I encourage anyone to visit Sheridan College Brampton Campus. Look at what a mess it has become. Sheridan College has professors who don't know anything about the courses they're teaching. All the Unionized Employees and Management care about their pay cheques. Most programs at this campus are useless. This campus and most other colleges in Ontario are such a huge waste of Tax payers money. This campus looks like a Punjab College in India. It doesn't even look like a Canadian College.

I am from India living in India now. Never lived or worked in Canada, but visited Canada multiple times as a tourist.\n\nThis situation is kinda tricky for everyone. While immigration is unavoidable for any nation of today, the way people immigrate to other countries really frustrates. Nations just go by whatever documents are submitted to the embassies to grant visit/student/work visas. Most of the time, the documents are cooked up or forged in order to secure entry into other countries. This is very common in India as well. \n\nIndia too have serious problem with the Canadian Govt, which openly backs & harbors terrorists from India such as Khalistanis. Of late, Canada has become safe haven for global terrorists, who need a safe shelter. I still wonder, what is stopping India from getting Canada declared a terrorist state.

?Indian here. Regarding those students if the Canadian society has some economic & cultural issues to accommodate them we are ready to take them back. Ask Canadian government to request GOI to provide chartered flights for the same. Because last time your Führer I mean PM visited we noticed some technical issues related to your national aircraft.\n\nPlease note that Indians ready to accept students those have Indian citizenship only. That doesn't mean you can resend your current MPs (including hagmeat / jagmeet whatever ) who gave standing ovation to a former Nazi inside the Canadian parliament. Hope you understand . Long live the land of ?

THOUGHT EXPERIMENT: If 100K Canadian students went to India for university and demanded the same rights these Indian students are wanting, what would the Modi government's actions be? Methinks fire hoses and tear gas would be the answer. Non citizens visiting in any country have no ***RIGHT** to be in the country they are a guest in. They have alternatives, like going home and enriching their own native lands.

Thank you for the information..How about someone that wants to visit and return but has someone to stay at his or her place instead of paying for a hotel bill, what will be your advice sir?

I remember visiting Canada and trying to get a cell phone data plan, it was imposible as a tourist without any Canadian documents. I ended up paying like $70 usd for 4GB of data with Roger which was insane. Now I just cross US/Canada border and bring my Starlink with me. The things I love about Canada is the dog friendly National Parks and the landscapes. Prices have gotten out of hand ?

So if I come to Canada to visit I need to watch for poops on street.

I am dorry to say this, but you were lied to. People immigrate becourse they can. There are countries that are better to live in where you will have more security in life. Your retirement is better, the problem is. These countries do not want immigrants, no matter what education you have. I would never immigrate to a country I have never been to. ♥️. It should be easier for companies in Canada to hire foreigners. Even if a person is visiting Canada and being offered a job. You really cant diside who a compant should hire. It is a personal preference. ?

i lived in Canada most of my life, visited Singapore twice, in my view it is the closest thing to a utopia in the world. I am curious to learn your perspectives on why you would want to leave Singapore and come to Canada, because though Canada is a developed country, it feels like a third world country a lot of the time due to all reasons you mentioned above.

I like visiting the US, but don't want to move there. I like the people however cities are not safe. My cousin told me that his small town had 110 murders (WV) . I had just visited Montreal. They have 4.5 million people and had 28 murders that year and were complaining that it's getting crazy. We live longer than Americans and deaths at birth are less. If I had to move to the US, I'd buy a gun. In Canada, to protect my home, I just put on the outside light and lock the door. However, I usually forget to lock the door when I go to bed.

It's obvious that the Immigration Department recruits too many Indians and Indians favor Indians. In 2023, more than 1 million Indians will got visit visas, while only one hundred thousand Chinese will got visit visas. Shouldn't tourists see who has money? I can't get a visa with 200,000 Canadian dollars to prove it, but Indians can get a visa with only 10,000 Canadian dollars to prove it. what reason?

They are coming to visit visa then they cross Canada border to us border but immigration officer don't see them how come and everyone applying fake documents with fake asylum sad

Although México isn't the greatest country, the part where i live (Near the center) is fairly safe, I've never been robbed or been involved in some cartel shit that you've heard of Mexico everyday (I'm 25 yo). The opportunity aren't the best either but aren't so bad...\nI mean, I've just finished the bachelor degree two years ago, I'm planning to buy a house with my girlfriend and making quick math we calculate it would take us about 3 - 4 years to save enough to buy one (Earning like 1200 USD monthly) taking in consideration that you can give yourself certain luxury's like hitting the road every weekend in motorcycle, visiting some places along the way, eating good food and stuff, with out sacrificing the rent or any basic necessities, then you remain with enough money for any emergency or urgent thing that comes out later.\nWatching this video makes me feel lucky of been here in Mexico even it isn't a very stable county i could say that the quality of life is fair enough (At least in the part where I am).\nSorry for you Canadian people... I hope you recover this crisis soon (I always wanted to visit that country)

Why are people even going into people's countries on visiting visa and then overstay your visa, all in the name of japa. Those countries too don cast?.

good evening sir, and how is work and family doing?\n\nI would like to share some information with you about my move to Canada that I would like to get your advice.\n\nI applied for Canada visiting Visa August 2023 and my visa came out by December same year. I later found out that coming over as a student would be much better than just visiting but even as that I had visiting Visa already. So I applied in a school, which I have gotten admission this May 2024. \n\nThe confusing part I would like you to advise me is , should I entered Canada with my visiting Visa and do flag pole or should I apply for study permit which I don't know the possibility of having it since I already had visiting Visa on my passport since December?\n\nPls kindly help me out \nThanks\nChigozie

People with dual intent should be deported, basically u r misrepresenting cause u r saying you are coming to visit and then you change ur visa to work permit or seek asylum should be deported if over stay cause if u r asylum seeker then u should declare at the port of entry…

Mr Harrison ,bitter Harrison u complained too much,,u didn't talk about the money the international students are bringing to the Canadian economy ,just because there was a cap on study visa for international students, many schools colleges and universities have started complaining,.............Personally I see nothing fantastic about Canada, many that have gone there were disappointed,Harrison if u don't want foreigners in Canada...........Protest to ur government and remain in Canada, don't visit any other country

Partner and I had Canadian visas accepted in February. We’ve decided to terminate them after visiting Montreal for a long weekend. What a shit show, and we’re from the UK.

It’s not even worth a visit. The people have zero personality, there is no “vibe,” it’s just a government subsidized corporate hellscape. And to make it worse: Drake lives here

Im from Europe, and we are more liberal than you guys in North America are, but you are too Liberal and free, you cant balance. your liberal policy is just give give give, let anyone in, you are a minority you are a minority everyone is minority and everyone gets some kind of money from the goverment. Where im from we are liberal and we are woke, but even this is too much what you are doing. This has moved from Freedom to bat shit crazy. Sometimes when I read something about Canada I legit believe people are brainwashed and you PM has a bunch of mental illnesses. Its worse than ever. I visited Canada in 2004 since I have family there and it was one of the top countries in the world at the time, that has changed now. And you guys even tho are liberals, you make rich people richer.. wtf?\nFor real now, people stay safe and good luck.

I got a chance to get shifted to North America 24 years ago. By then I had reached a CXO level job in India and that company gave me a choice. I decided it was good in India, and my salary went up as the years went by. In USD terms I might have got lesser than in NA, but in purchasing power, I got more, I think.\n\nThen India's growth after Y2k happened and I got other jobs, and participated in stock options with start-ups with dynamic founders (India has a decent VC-PE network now, especially for technology people). 5 years ago I decided no need to work and be on my own, doing stuff I always wanted do, but income was more priority. Today I realise most of new wealth is being created in India: new ideas, new services, products, delivery systems, etc: all being thought of in India. Why go abroad, except for a vacation?\n\nToday I have a fairly substantial net worth that got created through those wealth sharing jobs and I realize when I visit NA, that I would never have got this, not unless I had been there for a long time, and certainly not in Canada - that's pretty clear.\n\nToday, India is the place where wealth is being made. If you have a product or service that is successful, or are a part of such an enterprise and get to share in the value creation (that's a risk, not a given, not guaranteed), India is the place to be. And by going out of India, you are taking a risk, this is no different, except we know India in our blood.\n\nIf you are entrepreneurial, or have the risk taking capacity to work with an entrepreneur and share his risk with stock participation, there a great probability you will do very, very well in India.\n\nThe biggest upside: YOU are now developing India!

I’m European and visited Canada last year. What I observed in Toronto and Ottawa can summarise with 3 words: third world country. ?\nIf you want me to give some details , I can write it here in next comment.

I’m an expatriate, currently in Malaysia. Honestly, I feel like it’s a heaven. Paying $600 per month for a 1550 sqft 3 beds big apartment and having 2 bunnies ?? as our pet. Maintaining a BMW 5 series car. I roughly make $110k-$120k a year and my overall expense in Malaysia about $36-40k yearly and having a lavished life. Every month me and my wife go for trip as it has so many beautiful places including stunning islands and highlands. The only issue is here they don’t provide PR or citizenship, however it’s a truly heaven if you have a solid visa status. I was planning to move to Canada but after watching the video I’ve been disappointed and I’m afraid to visit Canada. What do you think about moving to US?

I'm born in the UK to Serbian parents, but grown up in Norway so I've seen three different cultures in my life all at once. I always liked Canada for being diverse because then I wouldn't have to switch between being English, Serbian or Norwegian, I could be more me because I am basically multicultural. For years I've idealised Canada and it wasn't until just two weeks ago that I got to visit and see for myself what Canada is like. I was in Toronto and also in Vancouver visiting a family that moved there from the UK I hadn't seen since I was a kid. I loved the nature (Especially Vancouver my god!) and the people, but I learned about how extremely expensive housing in Canada is to the point that it would be hard to make ends meet just renting a place let alone buying a house. Also how immigration is out of control and those who do come to Canada are disproportionately from one country being India rather than many different, which is not good for maintaining diversity. This is something I saw having lived most of my two weeks in Mississauga just south of the airport.\n\nI hope you guys finally get someone better in the next election, because I have more hopes for Canada than I do for the UK. Thanks for this informative video!

They're only letting in a few good immigrants. I have no idea what they look for on application b/c i have inlaws that want to visit and they wont even let them visit. Yet they bring in people who plan to cheat the system. Its backwards.

I'm Canadian; lived abroad for several years (in Europe). I returned here a few years ago and one of the things I love about Canada, which I really noticed was contrasting to Europe, is that we are not afraid to be self-critical (even extremely so), to re-visit the injustices in our past, acknowledge them, and work to try to rectify them. Also, there is a strong sense of community: most Canadians want to help improve their communities and help our fellow citizens. There are indeed some serious problems, as there are in all other countries, and we hope to overcome them and improve our society by working together. For me, one of the beautiful things about a country, what makes its society really interesting and even attractive, is our ability to constantly recognizing our mistakes and faults and try to improve upon them.

Canada? Maybe Hindustan?\n\nWas in BC in 2021, my backpack with laptop and camera was stolen. Called a police a women with a heavy Indian accent picket up, complained that my language isn't clear enough and that I have to find somebody to help me communicate with her and hung the phone.\n \nHere I am a tourist feeling absolutely safe in a country where my backpack is stolen and I am being bullied by the policewoman. \n\nAt this point a country Kenya has higher percentage of English speakers than Canada. ?\nWill I visit again, no thank you.

A Canadian here who moved to the USA back in the 1990's. Back then, and even more so today, it was pointless with the Canadian tax structure to work hard and make higher income. So I moved to the USA, worked my ass off in a progressive tax structure and am now in a place of happiness and freedom in retirement. I visit Canada often enjoying a great exchange rate. It's heartbreaking to see everyone either work like crazy to be left with almost nothing after taxes, or my unemployed friends get almost as much after-tax on welfare who complain about how the schools, taxes and government service are going to immigration. I hope Canada can start developing an identity and work towards something more positive than simply growing the government unions.

Stop the foolishness. I had my phone check at Toronto Airport in 2006 when I flew in from NYC due to my response to questions from immigration officers. I was a resident of US and my friend in Canada was undocumented, so i was hesitant to provide information about my visit. I had similar thinking then yelling at the officer as a Nigerian, but after 20years in US, I understand reason for it. If your intention for coming into the country is good, you will have no issues responding to immigration questions. You are granted student visa or visitor visa but your true intention is to stay in the country. Guilty mind always fear the truth

I visited Toronto and my home town last October. Was shocked at prices. Everything seemed to be double from my previous visit. The carbon tax is just cruel.

Unbelievable!!! I visited Canada 3 times. I think it's hard to see the Forrest from the trees. I am sure even in heaven I suppose Canadians will complain that someone else is better than them.
