Many Christians and even atheists are unhappy wit the level of degeneracy in Canada and also other western countries.

As a canadian i never thoughg of living anywhere else vanxouver is so beautiful. Growing up govrnmebt started cutting programs and services in schools ans public resources. And kept doing it. \n\nNow they are removinf beautiful homes to build ugly apartments no yards .\n\nThere is not enough public space. Everyone is moving to the city. We use to be able to go to the beach on a weekday in spring and there was no one. Now its packes. To get to the bathroom was almost a block long. The bathrooms are small. Goos for population we has in the early 90s. We need somethings 4x larger now. \n\nIm ok with new comers but if they create a new community in the rural areas. We have so many areas up north no one moves to.\n\nOr lots of space to build new communities up north, not deatroy the current communities that already exist. \n\nWith all the new apartments there is not enough space for cara, no parking and no room on public transportation.\n\nSimply, the city cannot support anymore people. Its unrealistic. \nI worked with a girk who shares a 1 bedroom apartment with 5 other people and she still paid 1500 a month for rent.\n\nThis will soon be like america - run down, extreme poverty & homelessness. The homelessness has gotten so extreme.\n\nWages havw increased maybe 3x since i was a kid, but pricea rose eveey year.\n\nAs a kid we paid $850 for 3 bedrooms. When i mo ed to my first apartment i paid $800 for 3 bdrms. My friend pays $3000 now for a 2 bedroom aptt.\n\nThere are more crimes more thefts now. My old houae was 600,000 that same house is now 1.5 mil. \n\nI make 2x what i made 3 yeara ago ans things are even more expensive than, i have less now vs when i was making less. Ill never affors a house i can barley affoes to save.\n\nIm certainly looking at gettinf out of here. This country is going to trash

I would hope you could find happiness in Canada. One of my concerns about living in a theocratic country would always be, is this choice really your own? Can you ever be certain, if faced with violations of your rights, that the choice is really yours? And, if not, can you consider yourselves as choosing Islam, rather than being forced into it, even if in absence of theocratic rule, you would have chosen it anyways? Maybe I’m overthinking it. I have the tendency to do that. I think if I were Muslim, I might choose Tunisia. I’ve known people from Tunisia and it sounds like they’re pretty open-minded, but still obviously predominantly Muslim. I’ve been to Dubai, and while I see many people recommending it, I honestly thought it was the worst combination of East and West. All the commercialization of the West, but none of the democracy. Plus, if you are not native Emiratis, you will always be second class. I’m from the US in what I think is the mini-Canada (ok, the Twin Cities) and we have a big Muslim community, but I’m very concerned Trump will win again in 2024, and I don’t know what will come of it. My daughter is part Afghani, but raised Catholic because her father’s side is irreligious. But I still worry for her, looking like she does and carrying that last name. People are so awful.

Canada has slidden farther down the sewer than even the USA. Both are currently controlled by WEF, WHO, CDC socialist puppet leadership. Be careful with your choice of a new country because many such as New Zealand or Australia are even worse. Look for how their respective populaces were treated during the C19 fear narrative for a hint and how the same gov'ts will act in the future.\n\nAs a former religious person I have no judgements and you should believe or worship as you please no matter where you go. Over time as especially Western societies are in a state of collapse, that will be increasingly difficult. As far as the genocide in Gaza, you will find almost all Western nations will fall in line and be fine with it.

A big part..........at least here in Vancouver why the healthcare system is broken here is due to the ongoing opioid crisis. The downtown eastside where many of the homeless and drug addicts live is known as the vortex because it sucks in all 1st responders across the lower mainland. Yet when someone who lives somewhere else in the city needs an ambulance you are screwed. Last year I had to wait over 8 hours for an ambulance........I live less then 10 minutes away from the nearest hospital. Because I couldn't move I had to sit there while my roommate had to call 9-11 over a dozen times to get me an ambulance. Doctors are even telling people to take a cab to the hospital if they can walk, because it's faster. \n\nAnd even when I finally got to emergency I had to wait hours to get looked at. The doctor didn't see me for almost 6 hours while i'm lying there screaming in pain. And this was on a Tuesday night, not even a weekend.

The Book of Amos (Bible) historically documented the people of Gaza committed a traitorous atrocity that incurred God's wrath that they lost their land against to many nations, like to Ethiopia for example in B.C. era (before Christ was born). These facts are also documented in history. So the Palestinian claim that that is their land is a big LIE to begin with. The Book of Amos should bring chills down your spine. Cause it is accurate in its prophecy. God wanted the people of Gaza to be obliterated because of what their ancestors did. If you'll research their history and culture, you'll learn that they worshipped Baal, which is a demon. They even sacrificed babies to their false gods. So its a no brainer that Gaza is destroyed right now after the barbaric atrocities they comitted on Oct. 7, 2023 against Israel. Beheadings, raping women hostages, burning Jewish babies alive would enrage God. So none of the world is surprised when Gaza was decimated after the discovery of Palestinian terror tunnels and the Palestinian hospitals,schools, mosques, residential buildings being used as hostages hideouts. Gaza keeps losing their war over and over even today, coz they never followed God's will. Bottomline, God's will be done.

For people commenting about house helps and maids being available in India, is it a healthy thing? The reason even middle class in india boasts about maids is the overpopulation of unskilled people and no minimum wages act that prevents exploitation of those house maids. Let government fix a minimum wage of 25000 for a full time maid and then see how many of us are able to afford them?

They come in without any vaccinations at all and are not required to have even standard vaccines like tuberculosis, rubella etc…they aren’t forced to take the “covid” vaccine either and yet Americans lost their rights in so many areas, they couldn’t go to Church, into places like restaurants, their gyms along with many other places they were either shut down or required you to have the vaccine and many lost their Jobs if they didn’t submit to taking the fraudulent and experimental vaccine. Funny that the left are STILL unable to process the fraud and lies that continue to be the real plague in the US.

I have only lived in four countries (more than 3 months). I have visited 38 countries in my lifetime, you do will not see what is not out there bad with those countries, I would not trade Canada for any of those, even inside Canada there are many places more desirable than other parts. GOOD LUCK with your ENTITLEMENT like decision.

While there might be wonderful places to see, and interesting people to meet and food to eat, I would never even visit there for more than a day or 2.\n\nSome times traveling by road, it is faster to drive through the states to get to other parts of Canada, and that level of visiting would be barely ok.\n\nYour government is actively making it unsafe to be alive there, for so many types of people. Unless you are part of the elite, making gallons of money, your government doesn't even want you to live. It's horrific.\n\nAmerica is bad y'all. Just so bad.

Well, as a person who grew up in a Muslim community, I respect your view but I disagree with Azan being loudly heard. I just hate it. It is like a noise interrupting in the daily life. I believe there are apps that play it and you can use them. As for Palestine, sure Canada is on the wrong side but the UAE is the same, they recently normalized the relations, Saudi Arabia said just two days ago they are willing to do so, and most European countries are similar. The US is even worse. How many good options do you have?!

This is my 13th year in Canada, I am so sad to see the change, I really hope it will become a better country again with Trudeau stepping down. But we also have to be fair that there are not many countries become better since COVID. Many of you leaving or planning to leave Canada are more like rich country retirees taking advantage of the wage and currency differences between rich and poor countries. So let’s put it this way, if many of you have not worked your whole life here in Canada, will you still have a quality of life in your home countries, such as Southeast Asia or South America? I doubt majority of the population there is make a good money and having great work life balance, and everyone there could afford a decent retirement life. what is more close to nowadays reality is people coming here and hoping they could have a better paid job and settle down here, but most of them found out they are struggling to even maintain their normal life in this country, so they left. For those who came years ago, they made a saving which may not be enough to support a good retirement life here, but is more than enough in other countries, they also choose to flee. Then those successful immigrants will stay here with the option to travel anywhere they want. My son's classmate's grandfather immigrated to Canada long time ago who later become a well known cardiologist and was rewarded as one of the top 25 immigrants Award, all three daughters are now specialists too. I really hope Canada could rise again!

It's a sacrifice for the first gen but your kids will have infinite opportunities growing up in a western country compared to india. In India outside IT and a few select fields it's impossible to get a well paying job. In western countries there are much more optionsk, even plumbers, electricians, etc make good money there. They have so many disciplines in undergrad which we haven't even heard of, and much more flexibility of switching careers, longer shelf life of getting degrees etc. \nPlus, your child gets to experience so many things like every child there learns swimming, hiking, skiing, seeing beautiful museums, etc.

In this modern era of aging populations, it is mathematically impossible for socialism to continue. As a Canadian, born and raised, I am much more proud to be a Canadian than if I were to be a U.S. or U.K. citizen, given the way they are regarded in most of the word. I have travelled Europe extensively, Central America, as well as parts of SE Asia. \n\nCanada is indeed expensive and has become moreso because we too easily accept the rising prices, just so we can feel good being a Canadian. Tipping culture is ridiculous, even for bad service, many feel the need to tip 15% because of fear of being regarded as a cheapskate or avoiding offending the service provider. Companies should be paying their staff a better wage where 20%+ tips are not expected for every restaurant, cafe or delivery service. We're helping corporations make more profit by subsidizing their staffing expense. This isn't the case in most of the world. \n\nMy eyes were opened when I saw how you can live an equally good life at a third or less of the cost and I have grown open to the idea of living elsewhere once I have enough money to retire early (I'm talking around 55) and enjoy life without feeling cash-strapped. World class private medical care can be found for prices that are unbelievable and without the multiple appointments and wait times.\n\nI will always be a Canadian first, but there is room for a second citizenship or a backup plan should living in Canada become an impossible place to live or retire, unless you begin with a financial advantage. By no means am I poor, either. I got lucky with both real estate and stocks. Yet, I feel like I am working to just get by, while being taxed well beyond what I am getting in return.

Its like the west and their supporters are devolving and we all know why when it comes to how many people are on the streets now days or broken. \nMuslims haven’t done anything to humanity. \nWe never had a Democratic nations. Who cares why you left... Canada is a great country and not so far gone to have it back on the right track. Sure everyone likes to bitch about something, it's human to complain when your having a bad day,week, or month. Even in the darkest times humans find the ray of sunshine and start to chase it knowing that it will be better in the future. To make a video that you had to leave ...who cares, your mom or family or friends. Did you think about the thousands of Canadians who went to war to fight for what you have today? Respect is lacking for many young people in many countries. Canada needs to stop thinking it has to fix all the problems immediately like some fix it pill. Band aids are for first aide not solving complex issues. Issues should be sounded out by Canadians for Canadians and only then we can start to logically and with forethought address issues using our great minds to solve issues with the future in mind. Leaving Canada is not using your talents to help your country who gave you everything up till now, it's opting out of assisting your forefathers in completing the growth and direction of your children's future and the future of Canadian society. Have a nice vacation because the world outside of Canada is not your home...it's just a hotel.

Toronto and Canada claim to be inclusive and diverse. I know many gay men who have been beaten up on the TTC. One buddy was beaten to a pulp, and no one helped him. People just sat there are let it happen, didn't even call the police.\n\nI would never live in Toronto, I'm leaving Ontario because this province is going downhill fast. In Windsor alone dependence on food banks and homeless ness has increased 500% in the past year. And their solution? To continue to raise taxes and give millions away to China and Ethiopia. When I moved from Canada, back in 2002, I couldn't believe how Canada was talked about. People spoke as if Canada was some dreamy, perfect world. It didn't resemble the truth in any way, even then. People of other nationalities believed such outlandish things about Canada. I realized, suddenly, that very little truth was reported about the country. For me, once I reached adulthood (1990s), I knew I wasn't living in the country I had thought Canada was. Even then, it just seemed that whichever province I moved to, people were just barely getting by, yet were strangely content or complacent in life. It was generational, social conditioning. Many can't see beyond it.

Consider moving to Kosovo-it is a majority Muslim population that is western oriented but also traditional in a cultural sense (not necessarily a religious sense). Although it is majority Muslim, there are secular Muslims as well as Catholics and Orthodox Christians who live in peace. You can hear the call to prayer five times a day and see observant Muslims without it being all consuming like somewhere in the Middle East. Since you are from Canada, you might find it a little suffocating to move to some place like Saudi Arabia, even if you are observant Muslims. Finally Kosovo has a very cheap cost of living, many people speak English, and you can be on the beaches of Greece within a few hours drive. Probably not on your radar so just a thought.

Yes. The western way of life is not perfect and hard for a true Muslim believer. They have hard time to accept the other, especially gender wise as spoken by this lovely couple, eloquently. Hmm ..I dont think even muslim countries will be better. For so many reasons.

This is a very thoughtful and balanced review. As a retired Canadian who had a good job for most of my life, I'm saddened by the decline in almost all areas of life, lifestyle and and people's aspirations in this country. This decline actually seems quite rapid, I would say from 2015 onwards. Housing in major centres was expensive, but it has skyrocketed in the past decade. There has been a decline in many institutions: 1. health-care, especially noticeable since the pandemic that coincided with many boomer medical staff retiring, but also by our sclerotic institutions refusing to enable foreign-trained doctors to work here. Many foreign-trained doctors in the Vancouver area are doing jobs way below their qualifications while many people cannot even get a family doctor. Crazy. Econonically, there seems to have been no plan at all from the government as we exited the pandemic. At least the US had a plan, to 'build back better'. Our government just floats along as if everything is fine, when the decline is very visible especially to older Canadians. We have admitted 1/2 a million people a year from overseas, so our economy should reflect this and show an upswing. But no, we're in a 'technical recession' as of December and probably a real recession as of last week. I have never voted Conservative in my life, but Trudeau is a flaky dimwit with a famous name who has no clue what he is doing. A fool, in fact. He's mismanaged our foreign relations beyond belief, and nothing has improved domestically. When Pierre Poilievre says 'Canada is broken', I believe it. We deserve much better leadership; in Canada's case, the rot does come from the top. Justin the entitled idiot is much more like his mother than his father.\n\nLong rant. Many of your numbers are wrong sweetie. Here are the facts;\n2 years ago, you would go to IGA (where food is fresh but it is pricey), you would get out with 2 bags of groceries for about 120$. Today, it is 180$ for the same 2 bags. this is NOT a 10% increase... but almost the double in price!\n\nRent, in Quebec province, have gone from around 1,000$ to 2,400$ in less than 5 years, and each time a tennant leave his place, the landlord rise (against the law but nobody can do anything) the rent often by 25 to 40%!!! The Demand is so high, that he can refuse you for any reason (including racism, children, pet, smokers) he can think of. Again, this is against the common law but in truth, there is nothing anybody can do, unless you can bring him to court, which takes lots of money...\n\nSo in reality, from the last 5 years, almost everything has double in price and salaries have barely start to rise (mostly due to unions who revolted) but if you are not part of one, your salary basically stayed the same.\n\nA very good advice, don't come to Canada. There is no 'dream' here anymore. it is hell. And even if you find a decent job, you will be ask to do the job of 4 peoples and taking your vacation will be near impossible without losing it. If you are not dying in your country, don't come here. I knew some people that came here from France, and although the situation is bad in France, it is still easier to live in France than here and so, they returned.\n\nWe are called a social-communist country by US standard, but the truth is, we have never been so far away from it. We are now into a company distopia that have monopoly on prices, control over any legislations, and our government steal money from its citizen to give it to companies so they grow artificially without giving any more good jobs to people. I foresee a citizen unrest if not, a revolt, in the near future. The domestic violence is reaching new heights, and if you don't believe me, just look at the current news; this last 2 days have seen 2 women beaten to death by their husbands... and that is just the point of the iceberg we see... People are stressed, angry, broken, and even if we keep making jokes ( that is how we are...) we are all worried about the future of Canada.

The biggest cause for the cost of living increase we've seen in Canada in the last decade can be largely attributed to government policy regarding immigration. Not the fault of anyone coming here. Foreign immigration agencies and the Canadian government are selling people false hopes. They are doing newcomers and Canadians a disservice. Unfortunately the government has no intention to put the brakes on the flow of new immigrants, even when there is not enough housing for everyone. We are at a breaking point in many cities and immigrants are being blamed, when the blame should be squarely on governments at all levels.

Respecting people's rights to choose what they believe and practice - but saddened that so many people\nfollow religions and do not truly research the symbolism, the history, the connections - no one should \nbe attacked for wearing a head covering etc - at the same time Muslims, like many other religious\ngroups just follow what the leaders say - and - if they truly researched they would find out that \nfollowing men and clerics is not wise and not even what our Creator wants for us.\n\nI was raised in a large world wide accessible religion - then, when I saw and heard things that\ndid not add up - I prayed for truth and then pro-actively researched - I compared the teachings\nof that religion from materials with in and from out with - and drew my conclusions - I also\nbeleive that I was led to find some very useful information not of myself - I learned enough\nto make an informed decision to leave that religion. My journey after that has not been an\neasy one as there is a lot of conflicting information and factions in this world - but over time\nmy original decision has been re-enforced by facts - I also came across the origins of Islam\nand who controls it - and that would be a surprise to many - and likewise would surprise\nother people in other religions ( including the popular New Age / Eastern Mystic religions)\nare all run by the same group world wide - and The New Age / Eastern Mysticism have\nbeen marketed as some kind of non religious freedom - but are, in fact religions with\ndogmas and leaders.\n\nThe Truth has set me free - I continue to study and to have faith alone in our Creator alone\nand I try to continue to learn what I can about the world and about spiritual things - to aid\nmy understanding and discernment. May more people seek truth for themselves, stop\nblindly following men and traditions and actively study and research from a rounded\nperspective. Best Wishes.

Not sure why I got this in my recommendations but I gave it a watch. I would agree with most reasons for your wanting to leave, even as a non-muslim. But what bothers me is how many Muslims are discontented with the social values and economics this federal government has been promoting and implementing - but they helped elect that govt. They threw their support behind the current federal govt because they seemed Muslim-friendly, while at the same time that same government promoted things that contradicted Islamic social values. Also , its my opinion, that govt is responsible for the runaway cost-of-living via inflation because of their horrible fiscal policies.

Even though evil is trying to spread and the world has been watching this barbarism...people are always waking up. The many victims that these unimaginable atrocities have claimed so far (not just now, but over the last few decades) will not have died in vain. The world will wake up. A disgrace in God's eyes are the so-called Muslim countries that stand by instead of rushing to help their brothers and sisters. they too will be defeated. The tide will turn and evil will be wiped out\n\n\n\n​

May Allah makes it easy for you. As far as Palestine and genocide in Gaza, I'm afraid even some or many Muslim countries are complicit too as they were complicit with war in Iraq, Syria...etc. May Allah guide us all and unite us. So, as painful as it is, I would think that through from that perspective in terms of choosing another country. Also, as you know, unfortunately many of our countries don't offer path to citizenship or even permanent residency and you don't feel truly settled. Keep us posted!

Because the US destabilized their countries and put dictators in place that did what the US wanted them to do. No Republican president include Cheeto and the Republican congress has every passed or even tried to pass reasonable and humane immigration laws. And they reason why is because too many lemmings buy into the us vs them. Instead of us the citizens vs our politicians who will sell us out for as much $$ and control they can.

I tried Turkey but they hate foreigners, especially Arabs. Now you need 250 000 USD to buy a property in the first 30 days to qualify to stay on a residency visa and that property NEEDS to be bought from a Turk as buying from a foreigner doesn't qualify. And cars have a bizarrely high tariff so even a VW or Toyota will cost you over 75 000 USD. Plus almost nobody speaks english or arabic outside of Istanbul and there are many areas where foreigners AREN'T allowed to buy/live!

I would personally say go to Bursa or Alanya in Turkey. But even The Netherlands might be good transition from Canada. The winter also ain't as cold here as in Canada we also don't have a lot of snow here. You only don't have many locations to hear the Adhan. I am north east Asain/Canadian and i have moved out of Canada few years ago, actually lots of friends of mine also move back to their original countries for better working opportunities, basically there isn't much good opportunity in B.C. people from highly developed Asian countries like Japan, S.Korea, Taiwan, even China has a higher tendency to leave Canada, the future is in Asia, tons of much better opportunities than Canada. Also after i have travelled many countries i realize if ur rich there r lots of other countries that u can live way better than Canada, the house, food, tax is much more affordable and local ppl r super friendly. They also established Salah places in work and education and public buildings, and also the rights to practice your faith and take time for Salah in working hours.\n\nNow, my family are the fifth settled generation and alhamdolillah, we have many madrassas, islamic schools, and children becoming Hafiz. \n\nWe live in harmony with non Muslims and many are converting daily, the question is if there was no Muslims, how would the Deen be shown and expand in non Muslims countries. Even our Sahabahs went into the world to teach and expand our beautiful faith Islam.\n\nMany Islamic countries are only Islamic my name, they are the biggest contributers to the genocide, as they have not spoken up or helped their Muslim ummah in Palestine. You will also find many covert doctrines in their governments that you may not agree with.\n\nLastly, many Muslim children attend public schools and are being exposed to the LGBT community and we as Muslim parents are teaching them in our homes from a young age, that in islam there is only a man and a woman and no third gender and only a man can marry a woman.\n\nYou can have the best of intentions but you can wrap your children and one day they will be exposed to what is not Islamic, and they need to be taught how to deal with it and hopefully, by showing them their own Islamic values, hopefully also change people's perceptions as they come into Islam.\n\nMaybe, if you stayed in Canada, you could establish an islamic school for your children and other Muslim children to attend, look around where you live, see where you can establish prayer areas, talk to the mall managers and finance prayer rooms, talk to schools, public restaurants, and establish halal foods. Please look at what has been achieved in the UK and you are at the beginning of that in Canada, and think of the Islamic foundation you are setting the future generations of Muslims and also many more Muslims who may convert one day. insha'Allah

As someone who moved Canada 3.5 years ago, I agree with all the reasons mentioned. There are many things government could have done better to fight against the inflation, housing crisis, high cost of living and rise in crime and homelessness. I don't even want to mention about the taxes. Like I am almost giving half of my salary to the government yet they are still taking %13 more on what we spend on, yet I've never seen a single place where that money was used to address any of these problems. One of the reasons I moved to Canada was to have a better life style, more buying power and better future for my future kids. But at this point I feel like I am living in a zombie land. High skilled workers will have some other opportunities elsewhere but refugees and low skilled workers will be stuck in Canada and it will get only worse with the current policies.

Canada used to be a great country. Now it's a good place only for the rich! Yet, the country is still accepting 500.000 immigrants per year and the fact is many will have to leave simply because they will not be able to earn enough to support themselves. They followed through, and Federal Finance Minister Bill Morneau sent a detailed response, signed by him but likely written by his staff, explaining the revised criteria and suggesting other potential programs. Provincially, my MP's staff guided me through various programs. Ultimately, I received nearly everything I needed to survive and potentially thrive through the pandemic (to be confirmed in 2024).\n\nTaxes are high, but I feel safe in Quebec City. Crime rates are low, and I've experienced little racism, possibly due to my fluency in French. Starting a business here has been easy, with minimal costs and bureaucracy.\n\nAs a gay man, I've never felt endangered. I can comfortably express affection for my spouse in public without feeling judged.\n\nHealthcare, including access to medication and doctor consultations, is extremely affordable. The biggest problem on the planet is that there are simply too many humans! From 1 billion 100 years ago to more than 8 billion (and growing) today. The associated problem with that is that it's a taboo subject and so we cant even talk about the merits of Zero Population Growth, where population is reduced in the future by natural attrition and lower birth rates. \nCountries that can't control their birth rates of course are the ones who send millions of migrants to the rest of the world so that they can overpopulate all the other countries.\nYou can't bring in half a million immigrants per year and expect to house them.
