I was told i couldn't use my citizenship card to prove I'm a citizen then when it was stolen I tried to replace it and the office that deals with replacing citizenship cards and documents refused to help me replace my stolen card they sent me to a site that wasn't updated since 2016 and the sit told me to go to the office i showed the officer this and they said it wasn't their responsibility

Many Canadians are leaving Canada, most of them highly skilled. Reasons are the expense of living here is astronomical and we have a totalitarian liberal/ndp government ben ton making the country as miserable as possible to live in. More are leaving and not being replaced by the equally skilled, quite the opposite. Good luck finding a house.

Many recent immigrants I have known have left Canada because the cost of living is too high. From my experience they work very hard, usually working 60+ hours a week. After some time they crunch the numbers and realize no matter how hard they try they will not get anywhere so they leave. For those born in Canada we find ourselves being chased out of our hometowns because it is too expensive to live there. For myself it was either stay in Vancouver, surrendering more than half of your income to rent or move out of the city to buy an apartment. In the major cities there is a mass exodus of young people and the strategy has been to replace that exodus with immigration. The problem is that is not sustainable as now new immigrants, seeking a better life are not finding it in major Canadian cities. For those who already own property in the lower mainland the selfish mentality is to do whatever you can to deny construction, thus maintaining the scarcity and value of what little land/housing there is in desirable areas. Zoning laws are beginning to change but progress is slow and municipalities have failed to keep up with infrastructure so the growing pains is going to be immense. It's beautiful here now doubt but if I had no ties and a solid financial footing I would have left long ago. Generations ago you could show up to Canada with no money and thrive if you were willing to work hard. Now hard work won't get you anything.

As an immigrant and naturalized Canadian, the Canada I have known and loved from 15 years ago is way different from the Canada I know today. The politeness, discipline and good manners that Canadians are known for seem to have been replaced by uncivilized and inconsiderate behaviour from immigrants who do not seem to care to integrate and adapt to the Canadian culture. This is extremely sad to see.

It made life enjoyable, and only one parent had to work, so Canadians could have kids. Thanks for sharing the info atleast it will be useful for millions of Nigerians,in my own case I used an agent and it was last year April 2022 but I didn't get the visa until this year 2023 and so I decided to embarked on d journey last month Oct but to my greatest surprise the immigration officers turned back from Cairo airport ,later I got the letter from my ircc stated that I used invitation letter to apply and what I applied with was my hotel booking so they asked me to replace some expired documents within 7 working days which I later did and then ive been waiting for their reply since, plz kindly assist me and explain to me better with your experience ma,thanks Yemi

I live north of brampton of DT Toronto i use to work the east end of Toronto. I get burnt out from driving to work 2 days a week really fast, becase traffic and our transit system is just terrible, it takes 2 hrs for me to get to work and 2 and a half hrs to get home and recently my work place was cruel enough to replace me with someone thats cheaper. Toronto is deffinitly not a good place to move to if you don't love the city

The government could try to incentivise families to have more children. Canada like most Western nations has a low birthrate that does not replace itself, therefore immigration is needed to fill in the population gaps.
