First let me say that I fully support anyone who is fully physically capable of doing whatever job that they are either enlisted to do or has been assigned to do within the military. \n\nIn a time where special forces doesn't mean bulked up freakishly high endurance or specific physical requirements are necessary.\nSpecial ops nowadays is also about mental acumen and ability to assess the entire picture and it is absolutely well known that certain physical factors are required to be on the front lines but to remove a very capable force that is a force multiplier in a time where it's absolutely needed and cannot be replaced quickly or even adequately is doing a massive disservice to our military and the citizens of this country just for the sake of a small group of individuals with small minds that couldn't step into that vacant position and adequately fill it with the same caliber of talent regardless of how they identify themselves!\nBeing the most lethal fighting military requires many talents and to remove those talents from the soldiers they support is absolutely hurting our military in ways that will take decades to rectify!\nThat soldier on the ground calling in drone strikes to get his or her soldiers out of the danger isn't going to care if they are trans or identify as LGBTQ only that they are able to safeguard their soldiers in whatever way they have been trained to do..\nOur military needs to be the most diverse in order to be the most lethal in the most diverse situations throughout the worlds stages!

I stand with our transgender members of our military. They chose to service and defend our country. I do not stand with the Jan6 insurrectionists who chose to attack our Capitol and assault police officers. They chose to tear our country down.

Can't go to battle on the front line in some other Country when you require medication on a regular basis, it may not be available for weeks or even months. So do we pull people off the battle field and send them home because for whatever reason they can't get their meds? That's why it isn't acceptable

I support Trans people doing what they want, but the military is not the environment to project your sexual identity. Yes, there are some Transgender people who are very capable of performing in the military, but some of the behaviors that are normal in the LGBTQ community are not normal to the heteronormative United States military.\n\nThe U.S military focuses on optimization, and they already have a resourceful system. They don't want to alter what's already proficient. That's mostly why they don't accept Trangender ideologies. ?

I have to question someone who does not have a proper grasp of physical reality as to their grasp of reality in other areas. How can I be sure that the mechanism responsible for properly understanding reality is not so broken that the individual is not able to properly assess military situations on which many lives may in fact depend. We need people in the military that have a properly functioning reality assessment mechanism in place, not broken machinery.

Was all 20 years of “her” service as a transgender, if not, then her case has no ground to stand on, because its even worse for the soldiers around “her” to have to deal with that shit. No place for transgenders in the military, cause now they’re asking to be included, next they’ll be crying about their own toilettes and barracks and everything else. All soldiers left their life behind to be part of the military, and they wanna allow this. Serving in the military is a privilege, not a right. If someone requires hormone therapy or gender reassignment surgery, who will ensure they have the physical and mental readiness to fight?
