I guarantee most people have met a transgender and didn't even know it. I took a course at work and both instructors had transition from female to male. You would never know unless they told you. Im not sure why people want to fight people being who they want to be. They don't impact anyone eles and just want to live their lives. Stupid how Republicans have made this an issue. What about guns that are killing people every day?? What a waste of time going after trans people like they are killing people or something.

These subjects of lgbtq are not something new. They go back hundreds of years. We do not have to question their service or if they are qualified.

In the war zone, the transgenders are not going to win for sure. So, to all the transgenders, I suggest that you are staying home or doing something else to enjoy your life style.

If a man takes estrogen and testosterone blockers to become a woman, he literally becomes weaker and may not be able to pass the fitness standards. Why would we support doing something that makes a service member weaker. However, if trans men want to take a lot of testosterone shots and become as strong as natural men, I’d say that’s a win.

As a retired Marine, we do not need transgender's in the military. He is a NOT a she, regardless of what it says. Don't ask, Don't tell was bad enough, but it worked because this type of immoral behavior wasn't blatant as it is now in our military. There are 2 sexes or genders just as GOD made them. They join the military thinking they will get free surgery. If you believe you re something different, it is perversion and nothing else. PRAISE and GLORIFY GOD in ALL YOU DO, that behavior does NOT PRAISE OR GLORIFY GOD!

Your average soldier is not going to respect a leader or want to follow a leader who used to be a man and is now a woman and Vice, versa! I agree with Trump and Crenshaw even though I don't Crenshaw. There is no room in the military for this BS. I served 10 years and this BS is nothing more than a huge distraction. You have people who were going in just to get the operations. They spend 4 years in the military changing gender on tax payers dime. Out of the whole 4 years they may be deployable for about 6 months and that ain't all at the same time. When I was in this stuff was not an issue! They were not allowed to join and neither were gays.\n\n Think about it everyone is so bent out of shape over sexual assault well if you take a couple of gay guys and put them in an infantry unit they are going to look at all those men the same way a straight guy would look at all the girls if he was dropped off in an all girls collage. Nothing but problems and issues the military doesn't need!!! Seen it first hand back then when it was not allowed. Incase no one noticed military recruitment is down to dangerous levels! It seems to me all the resistance and cruelty to transgender people comes from a lack of grit and ability to see and acknowledge difference. It's not strength to reject difference, it's weakness. It's simply people chosing to judge something they do not want to understand. And what's sad, is this movement is threatening to turn back the cultural clock to a time where fundamentalism and black and white thinking rules -its sad times indeed. I'm a veteran btw.
