The United States did not start a trade war with Canada, Trump did. The American people love Canadians. Trump is not the US.

For all of you GO Canada people. The majority of Canadians oppose what our government is doing. This man has destroyed our economy and done everything he could to stop international trade of LNG and oil by shutting down all pipeline and LNG PROJECTS WE HATE THIS MAN. It is not Trump BAD it is everything Trudeau did above and more that killed us. these Tariffs would mean nothing to us if he hadn’t fiscally destroyed us. We are getting what we deserve. Just curious why so many support Canada as Americans? If you look at the spending and trade throughout the world, America and Americans have been footing the bill for a long time. What exactly is wrong with America putting America first and getting a fair deal with the rest of the world we do business with? It's our taxpayer dollars that fund this and we have been overpaying for decades now. Honest question.

As a Canadian, here's my biggest concern. The whole border thing was nothing more than a ruse. Trump has cozied up to Putin ... basically, he's Putin's poodle. He's tossed Ukraine to the wolves. (Though, I think Europe and Canada will increase their efforts to help Ukraine.) My fear is Trump will find some way to justify sending American troops into Canada to simply seize the resources he wants but is unwilling to trade for.
