I came to the states when I was little unfortunately I had to start working I was 15 I worked in a restaurant so i could support my sick mother in my country then I learned English and moved into a different job I never had the opportunity to go to the school since Noone would supported me !! I fall in love with some US girls we have 2 kids she worked sometimes I never pushed her to do so ! I tried to fix papers but the lawyers took my money and never did nothing about it ! I got into a traffic incident I got a ticked and fine once I payed off I get caught and sent back to a place I should call home !! I don't know nobody here don't know the place anymore !! dangerous people crazy !! my kids abandoned in the states now probably their mother asking for help to the government? who knows the last thing I heard is she was selling what it used to be our properties! I don't have contact with my kids anymore ! is horrible then we have this people just going there and getting asylum??? not fare!

do you see the Americans in the crowd this is something our government is pushing for here one side anyway. this is to show that people are not freely entering but those of us that know this is a set up to change minds don't fall for this shit.

Folks, I need to educate many for a second. When you immigrate to this country you DO NOT become a citizen when you get legal clearance. You can become a permanent resident at best which means you can live, work and do most other things here legally. You DO NOT get to vote or work in government agencies as a lawful permanent resident. To become a citizen you have to wait a minimum of 3 years, or more depending on your permanent resident status, to then apply for citizenship. You then apply for the citizenship application and if accepted the process requires you to take a test and go through a series of questions about U.S. history and government knowledge in an interview that you need to pass, before you are awarded citizenship. Through this process you are SUPPOSED to be committing yourself to the United States of America as someone who denounces your allegiance to your old country and is now pledging your allegiance to the U.S. This is now your home country and you treat it as such. You are now an AMERICAN, not a whatever from wherever that just lives in America. It should be a big deal and one to be proud of. I know people that have been here for 25 years as a permanent resident and they still have no desire to become a citizen. They have lived off of this country, raised families in this country, worked and benefitted from this country and still align with their old country and are completely amiss to what it means to become a U.S. citizen. There is a reason that only citizens are allowed to vote! Because you should have an allegiance to America and should vote accordingly and not be allowed to work in our governmental agencies for the same reason. Legal status and citizenship are NOT the same.

This is all the government's problems. This should have been fixed decades and decades ago. Im not blaming democrats or Biden cause it was already like this. It just got worse cause no one knows what to do. Other countries will not do their part to help their people. They refuse to change.

Keep them out !!!! We have trouble with our own citizens who are here legally! Stop this border madness now. Get Mexico to take them all and house them and feed them. My dad and grandma were immigrants they became U.S. citizens and always worked and didn't expect anything for free. Never asked for anything other than the opportunity to work for a living. The way these people are crossing over is wrong. It pisses me off to know our government is allowing this because they aren't doing enough to help our own homeless people our veterans and low income families. My husband and I have always worked and are now retired and we don't qualify for most the benefits these people get for free. And they get it at the cost of every tax payer in the U.S.

You completely forgot how Canadian government has funding for flee from abused relationship subsidy... not even that there are special shelters for women fleeing relationship with children... infact there is second stage housing thay support womens for 5 years to support them become aelf depended... there are so many grants for studies for such women... some program i know is called DECSA. Immigration levels are causing the housing market boom. Colleges are paying the government of the day to keep immigration laws lenient as this would encourage more international students. The result- the quality of people coming in this country has dramatically declined. The healthcare has been hit badly as the wait times can be months. Everyone wants to come to Ontario causing unemployment as immigrants work for less pay and ordinary Canadian can’t afford to work for that less. People keep on buying houses and renting it out and millennial can’t buy houses anymore. Don't let them come! I know that there are some great Venezuelans out there but there are also some criminals who just try to take advantage of the situation. If immigration happens, it has to be in order and planned. Other SouthAmerican countries took the massive immigration as a way to help Venezuela and ended messing up their economies and lives of their inhabitants. The largest employer in Canada is the government. That tells you all need to know about innovative and entrepreneurship. The Canadian dream is to work for the federal government, get a good pension and get an easy worry free job as a public servant.

Canada is basically another state of US at this point. Canada has independent domestic policies just like any US state but foregin policis are Washington lead. Canada has great educational instuation just like many other US state but ultimately, the graduates leave for better states in the US to get better pay. Almost all export of Canada is to US and almost all import are from same US suppliers from Asia. Some will say Canada is very different from US in the way people act and live their life. That is true but even inside US, California is very different from Texas and New York is very different from Iowa. Just goes to show different states have different lifestyle but are still part of the same country.\nThis is not a bad thing, in fact Canada is lucky to have access to the biggest market of the world. Being under US security umberlla means no one will attack you. Canada's government know this so they made policies that lead to integration with US economical and defence system.

A man came to my job looking for work. Unfortunately we where not hiring. I asked him politely are you legal to work here because I know some people that are hiring. He says yes the government already gave me a medical card, cell phone and some $$. I've been here my entire life. I've had to work for everything I have ... Doesn't seem fair.
