So this was really good, and got really close to reality, but missed. All of those migrants are from countries where Russia is involved in some sort military conflict. All of the nations where those migrants are going is to nations with strained relations with Russia. Notice how the migrants are migrating to very specific countries

To be fair its European policies that keep their country's poor and in state of war so they can buy their natural resources for pennies. But still better to fix your country than go to another were yiur not welcome. Yea migrants stop migrating and fix your country and see whos poor then when you start selling your natural resources for proper price.

This is the result of the policies of the colonialist and exploiting countries, which destroy weak countries and simple people, then they are forced to migrate to your own countries due to the circumstances, and a problem arises.

The ONLY way to stop mass immigration is to make these countries whole, so the people won't want/need to migrate. This means forgiving debt, facilitating business, help developing democracies. & It still costs less than these wars, etc.

Migration is not the problem. The problem is those military age men with those fancy degrees who are cowards and run away instead of building their country and make it strong, they rather get everything for free from Europe who also refuse to adapt to new culture and follow the law of the land and want Europeans to submit to them. Europe needs to send them to prison. Rather take good people who will benefit Europe with culture and knowledge.

Europeans are up in arms when a few million refugees arrive...on the other hand...over ten million Ukrainians entered the EU since 2014. This is not about migration or refugees....this is about weaponizing racism to gain power?

As a person that grew up around Muslims and have Muslims in my family, the Middle East has never gotten along with each other way before the west came to that region. It’s always been the Sunnis vs. the Shiites. The countries that you named are Sunni Muslims who are anti terror and are tired of instability coming from Islamic jihadists regimes who are the Shiites. Also, the west have become corrupt cowards who have been brainwashed by leftists ideology that thinks by not accepting illegal migration, that you are a xenophobe. Now look at France, Canada, Germany, the uk, Sweden, Finland, Norway, and even America and how liberals have destroyed these once great and proud nations. Our grandchildren are going to hate us.

I don't think Russia is actively weaponizing migration against Europe. It's just that Russia doesn't care much: if the immigrants come live in Russia illegally, Russia will deport them; but if they want to go to western europe (with free housing, free healthcare, etc.) through Russia, then why does Russia stop them? For what? EU doesn't care about Russia's interests, why should Russia care about EU interest?

EU did help enough people. Our countries are being overtaken and our streets are now dangerous due to high crime rates. They need to fix their own countries and beliefs, not illegally migrate to somewhere else just to start over the degradation.

Bernhard needs to perform an in depth examination into the push/pull factors associated with migration. He needs to be more objective in his analysis of the impact of immigration and its relationship to public and private services. Even though his organization does a decent job of integrating immigrants, their limited focus on the principles that attract people and understand that the services available are limited instead of blaming policies that are decades old.

Nice greetings from Germany. 4 years ago you could get a 1 room apartment in the country with 30sqm² for 200-250€ (300-375 Cad), today it costs around 650 € (980 Cad), the reason is exactly the same as yours , mass migration! (usually illegal only) Of course it's not the migrants' fault, no, it's the governments, they control who comes in and out, they have the key to the castle that is overcrowded!

There are very few normal people except the dredges of society who migrate to western countries and maybe a few super super rich. The west made it so hard to jump through all the hoops that normal middle class would not want to put in the effort to degrade themselves and go west. You should be required to bring a skill or trade if your migrating in. You can't just come here and chew up resources. If you can contribute to making our country more prosperous and increase the quality of life here, your more than welcome!

There is a distinction between legal heavily regulated migration and illegal unregulated mass migration . I am British so as you know we are experiencing the same issue it’s honestly the lack of assimilation, a large portion of migrants essentially replicating their home culture and a lack of respect for the host culture, also as much as we dislike to acknowledge it ,some cultures are incompatible with others , that’s not racist it’s the unfortunate reality . This is disgusting to listen to. No country on Earth wants millions of immigrants flooding in getting welfare to the moon and being a statistic of crime cause by these immigrants. No one wants that. What makes anyone think they do? They are all going to get to vote. Just watch. They just crossed our border, got welfare better than citizens, and will get to vote. im a Canadian that is contemplating leaving Canada, car got broken into twice in the past 2 months here in Calgary. never happened in the 17 years i stayed here. mass immigration is fked up. it took us 5 years to migrate the right and some of these folks just walk in and get accepted

This is a MAJOR GLOBAL issue in Western countries. My mother migrated to the US when she was 19. Conditions were so different in the 80s. The immigration nowadays is so massive, unregulated, and most countries are struggling financially. Resources are not there & tax paying citizens are not prioritized

In Bulgaria there are companies who will train you ans house you. 90 percent of people own their homes and do not rent. We have great food, climate, tourism in nearby Greece and Turkey is amazing. Migrating to Canada is not the greatest. Why? To pay for a house until I die?

These protests are not against migrants, but against illegal migrants and those who do not want to become Canadians and respect Canada and Canadians. We have already seen the results of illegal migration in France and the UK, where migrants are disadvantaging the indigenous population, in France the right-wing has already won the elections, in England there are protests all over the country.

Unfortunately Australia has the same problem, opened the door after covid for mass migration, vast majority is people from India, and we’re suffering from housing shortage, rent is atrocious and to buy a house is just too expensive

The people I know who are most against our current immigration system are the immigrants themselves or the children of immigrants. Most people here are not against immigrants specifically, they are against the current system and uncontrolled migration.
