The reality is that while he wasn't in office, he used the House as his own personal veto to block any substantial legislature from passing under Biden/Harris, so it makes them look incompetent. My great grandfather moved to Toronto in 1890. He was a stone carver and did the stone work on the old bank buildings downtown. My grandfather was a clerk for the railway. My Dad was born in 1933 and grew up at Pape and Danforth. At the time, it was the edge of the city. As a kid, my Dad walked a few blocks to the local farms, bought produce, and sold it to his neighbors. I was born in Toronto in 1970 and lived there until 1998. I live in BC now. My Dad is gone; my Mom is in a home in North Bay. I will always consider Toronto my home, but like they say, you can't go back again. I feel entirely out of place when I visit TO now. It's not the place I knew.

Undocumented workers paid 96 billion dollars into Social Security and Medicare through the INT. They are not eligible to collect from those programs but there work help sustains them. They do work Americans do not want to do. Hotels hire them, farmers hire them, meat packing plants hire them, construction companies hire them. Removing them will be a disaster. Banks says the American people have spoken for it, I didn't. Only 51 percent of uneducated voters for Trump wanted it. We Democrats understand they are needed here. Republicans in the red state on Welfare won't go to work and do the jobs immigrants do. What will happen is Trump will cut the taxes for the rich, raise our taxes and do away with Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid and other needed social programs like CHIP, Meals on Wheels, School lunch programs etc... America will suffer and end up losing our allies and pulled out of the NATO agreement, which Russia wants us to do. Trump is friends with our enemies. What I would like to know is who is going to fill the jobs left unfilled when all these deportations happen? Jobs that most American citizens do not want to do. I would also like to hear how grocery prices will go down when all these agriculture and manufacturing jobs done by immigrants suddenly become vacant with no one to fill them.
