A while back they tried to nail Canada with 4 billion in softwood lumber tariffs in that they claimed Canada violated the free trade agreement, which they did not. The arbitrary trade council which oversees both countries ordered the USA to pay back Canada the 4 billion. The USA never did. Trump claims Canada treats them unfairly yet they are the ones who violate the agreements. They are the poor trading partner. Canada should trim the exports to the USA significantly and find alternatives. Just cut out the corrupt Americans led by a convicted criminal.
