It is mostly the fault of the incompliant and corrupt Liberal government for the massive influx of unskilled India workers/students. Under previous sane governments, there were manageable caps that controlled the influx and allowed for proper immigration of vetted and skilled workers, but the Liberals stopped properly vetting people and basically opened the flood gates. For a Canadian company to hire foreign workers, they used to have to prove there were no Canadian workers to do that job, so foreign workers were mostly used in seasonal agriculture work, but due to very shady government deals with big corporations Trudeau approved paying wage subsidy and turning a blind eye to Canadian workers so Singh Hortons (and many other big businesses) could have workers for a cut rate and the government tax dollars paid up to 70% of wages and welfare. Also Foreign workers think they can stay here once their visa's expire, refusing to leave. There is simply no need for Canada to bring in over a million Indians that are in hard times in their own country. Our welfare or culture can't stand it. Not sure if you missed it or not, but India's foreign minister at the start of summer, thanked Trudeau for taking all their criminals, and low caste people. But People need to follow proper immigration policy, and not buy a ticket to Canada from a India scammer guaranteeing citizenship, which has been the case as well. Getting immigration back to sensible levels of skilled workers in the next step, and not just massive amounts of one culture. Diversifying the diversity. coming here not work is not the issue, driving down the wages, doing sub-standard work and only hiring there own people is. come to Canada and compete on the open market as everyone else is acceptable the cream will always rise to the top and the most skilled will always prevail. this is not what we see when you go work what we see is employers refusing fair wages, employers deny workers rights someone desperate and inexperienced will do it instead. There isnt much to see anyway...\n\nImmigrants from Punjab region were encouraged for a long time against all others for a long time... The second and third generation of them are politically active and strong. All they care about is Khalistan and nothing else and they're close to realising it first in Canada. The chickens have come home to roost...\n\nYou need them to work in agricultural fields and you can't control them. Enjoy the fun together.....

I worked in a retail store with where Indians shopped regularly. They were the very rude to the sales helps. They talked down to us and they were the worst thieves the store has ever seen. Our regular customers started going else ware because of this problem. I'm afraid Canada is no longer a great, desirable country because we have aloud it to be taken over by the east indians. It is the governments fault but is is also the fault of the indians because they have not adapted to the Canadian way of life. They want us to adapt to their way of life. Please close the doors to any further indian immigrants or students . Go back to India if you don't like what Canada wont do for you.. I am a senior citizen and it makes me sick to see what you people have done to my country.

I saw Indians pooping on beaches in PEI and NB this summer and throwing garbage everywhere. Now they are protesting to stay when their visa's have expired. They complain about school and housing, but at the same time, exploit food banks and take up entire neighbors up degrading land value with their crime and trash. Then whenever you interact with them, they are rude, speak quickly and do not learn to adapt to our way of life. Instead we get more protests and violence. Indians abroad are responsible for billions in fraud and mismanagement across many sectors, and Indian government openly hamulated Canada on several occasions. On the count of immigration to Canada, more then 2/3 are coming from India and many are unvetted. Indians are not global people, they are not friendly or adaptable. Taking advantage of our hospitality and complaining when they stop getting that treatment pretending it's not their fault. Indians should go back to India and fix whats going on there. Get better schools, and have better manners. You have generations of youth who are very rude and dirty. I wish everything I said wasn't true, but with many personal experiences and others sharing, we have found the same is true about all of this many times over, in a span of 10 to 15 years. Its shameful.

There are currently thousands and thousands of young men from India, milling around on the street corners of downtown Toronto. They work at low paid jobs where they deliver food in electric scooters and they are driving their electric scooters on the sidewalks (this is 100% illegal - contrary to city bylaws). Most of them were admitted to Canada on student visas, but are not actually studying anything. This is fraud, facilitated by the incompetent, GLOBALIST government of the TRAITOR, JUSTIN TRUDEAU. The situation with these young men is causing a huge social problem here. Now they are protesting agitating, demanding to stay here, claiming they have rights that do not not actually have. They all need to go home, NOW, where they belong.

When india can get its overpopulation and poverty problem under control, and migrate here without importing bad third world behaviors, then they'd have a better reception in Canada. \n \nThe blatant corruption and third world mindset that abounds in India is going to destroy Canada unless something is done to curtail it. \n \nBangladesh is less than a tenth of the land mass of Alberta and Bangladesh has 171 million people. \n \nYou cannot tell me that people who come from such conditions could ever understand or value what makes Canada different in terms of sanitation and prosperity when the experience of people in India and neighboring regions is so different. \n \nAll I ever hear from Indians is their lack of comprehension or value that lower populations has, in fact many of them have contempt for the fact that anglo westerners don't want to live in dirty and overcrowded conditions. \n \nImporting hundreds of thousands of people with that mindset is going to cause intractable problems with the host country, and you can cry racism all you want, but it doesn't change the fact that there are obvious incompatibilities between people of the overcrowded third world and first world nations.

This is Canada not India. Student visa does not equate with PR or citizenship. Go home and protest India instead of Canada.

I see his point, but we Canadians know that we can’t go to your countries and have our pride parade. For example, I can’t move to India and have a French Métis Canadian pride parade. These immigrants have not brought any benefit to Canada. They are often unskilled, take a 6 month course and then apply for a work permit, as a way to send money back to India. As well, there are people in Delhi, advertising to go to Canada, however has no affiliation with Canada’s immigration. The fraud being committed on falsified information on their applications is rampant.
