As a native Canadian I totally understand your stand on winter and inflation. As a native Canadian I think we don't inform immigrants and outsiders that winter climate does to alot of people. There is a seasonal affective disorder (very prevelent) in my father's family and even my mother unfailing optimism get's like you fatigue at the very least. Kids love winter but yes as a adult or even a teen many people retreat and feel isolated. Where are you considering going ? Most Gulf country require you to have a work visa, or some kind of employment visa, whether your opening up your own business, or finding work through an employer. This is the only way you can stay in the countries. Or you can invest close to 3/4 of a million CDN in real estate and they will provide you with a Resident Visa. Also most schools are Private Schools, have you considered what kind Education Curriculum you would chose? The costs are also very high. Quite sobering information. I disagree on only one point: you made it sound as though Indonesia has a much higher crime rate than Canada. Perhaps petty crime (passing motorcyclists snatching cell phones, for example) is definitely much higher in Indonesia, but for violent crimes I'd wager a big city like Jakarta is as safe or safer at night than Toronto.

WHERE are municipal politicians supposedly limiting the construction of homes? I don’t see it. \n\nWe are aware that there are regulations in place to protect buyers and that self-serving industries lobby to do away with, as those protective regulations can reduce profits. Some provincial governments (like Alberta) are highly sympathetic to lobbies and industries, to the detriment of citizens. \nWhy are you not pointing to the fact that successive federal governments of the past stopped funding the construction of lower cost housing (thereby creating more demand AND our number one problem of unmitigated greed throughout the real estate and home building industries? We have some people in government attempting to get more low cost homes built while industries know that they can make more money building houses that are far, far bigger than people NEED. Dumbasses and keep-up-the-Jones folks unwisely buy these homes and then many of them have difficulty affording a lifestyle that they think they are entitled to. Meanwhile, lower income earners have been priced right out the market. Of course, capitalists and real estate investors like Pierre Poilievre will never admit that these are our actual problems. Regulating the construction and real estate industries could have gotten a lot more homes built in higher density for young and lower income Canadians, as well as for our newcomers. \n\nToo much blind and poorly informed anger, selfishness, and foolishness going around. Just because a school is a DLI does not mean you are guaranteed PR; you need to meet all of the other eligibility requirements.

Great video! However you forgot to mention an important fact about our Government. As you may be aware our Prime Minister Trudeau brought an SS Nazi into our Parliament who was received with a standing ovation from all parties. Canada is on a dangerous political trajectory. Canadians have seen their right to free speech challenged by Trudeau who illegally brought action against the Freedom Convoy. Trudeau also through Bill C-11 is controlling the media so that he can decide what information Canadians may receive.
