Trudeau supporters would have called you a bigot or a Russian asset for posting this video on uncontrolled immigration during a housing, homelessness and healthcare crisis. They started to realize name calling wasn't working anymore since data is much more superior. They blame everyone else now instead of holding accountability. I’m an American citizen who was born in the United States (Hawaii). Everyone has the right to support or not support President Trump’s plans for mass deportation. The interviewer asked this Mexican American woman her opinion and she’s entitled to her opinion. There are a lot of Hispanic people who agree with Trump. I don’t think she’s turning her back on her family by saying “it’s okay” if they get deported. I think she’s respecting and supporting the rules of Immigration laws to have legal documentation to live in the United States. Rather than disrespecting and ignoring Immigration laws the way her family did. I think in a way she’s saying “it’s okay” her family gets deported because they deserve to be penalized for breaking Immigration laws for entering and staying in America for 20 or 30 years illegally which is valid and understandable. It comes down to the phrase “You commit the crime you do the time” whether it’s family or not. I believe she has a leg to stand on because she followed Immigration laws, received her Green Card and is living in the United States legally. If a family member of mine committed a crime and were put in jail or deported back to their country I would say “it’s okay” too. You reap what you sow.

What everyone needs in Canada right now are as follows : 1) affordable housing; 2) decent employment; 3) reliable and dependable healthcare. \n\nI agree that immigration process needs to be made harder and stricter. Choose quality over quantity. \n\nFocus on getting new immigrants only in specified fields such as a) healthcare (doctors, nurses, healthcare workers); b) trades (construction/plumbing/carpentry/electricians/farmers); c) tech (IT/AI/Robotics...) and no need to bring students to do useless courses in management/finance and other fields.\n\n\nDevelop other provinces besides Ontario/Quebec/BC/Alberta; build new townships and create jobs in these new towns; build more airports, highways, break monopoly of state owned air carriers and increase competition; ban all labor unions; decrease bureaucracy and regulations and keep it at a bare minimum; increase and improve work efficiencies

When the door is left wide open not everyone who walks through has good intentions. Most people who came from a single demographic over the past few years are moochers who aim only for a PR & not to become a Canadian.

These are things we can achieve. But not without significant adjustments to the status quo. And if there's one thing the status quo hates, it's changes to the status quo.\n\nSo here's what I expect from our politicians in years to come: more of the same empty promises and half measures. They'll keep doing that until there's a massive market correction and everyone in Canada loses their shirt.
