Food & housing in Canada is no longer considered basic needs. Canadian policymakers in the present government have failed in its role

There is no better place in this planet to be brutal honest and very unfortunate. You don’t need to feel lucky if you now in Canada, contrary if your motherland is not that bad, stay there, cuz start a brand new life in Canada is no longer a good option - everything just simply too expensive and you don’t have Canadian experience.

You need to find out why our doctors left and who caused it.?the same people who gives drugs to the addict. Yes our government.then we got flooded with immigrated, along with more preg women,and the number of doctors we got with that bunch just about filled all empty spots.Canada is very rich,and could support the country easily, but someone has their sights on owning Canada for all the rights once again the same who supplies addicts drugs take a good look around what do you see? Happening? These people are buying into every single busness,all of them.were did they get the money? OH from back home,in turn they are now sending our money to their country so now who's working for who? Everytime we spend money ,it goes back home.what I don't und erstand is we always had a public ceremony. For the people who became Canadians.Since this all took place, we had 1 staring in ceremony,of 25,or 26,total,that only 18 became true Canadians, so does that mean the rest are illegally in Canada? Someone please let us all know.

I want to go there in canada also and my family is there,.but governtment need to shut down the migration..there is a lot of people go there.canada is not very canadian anymore,so sad for the canadians.

When I passed my Post Graduation in 70' s from London University ( in Engineering) Canadian Embassy gave me Visa and One way ticket for free. While I was in Embassy waiting .. I saw some colorful journals and green in summer mounds of snow in winter. I had grown up Central Indian Climate. 5 years in England still kept me alienated environ cold weather and Culture. Most disturbing was visible Brown skin foreigners for ever.....at 2nd tier of Society ,..... after getting 4 month Valid visa I started probing fron friends who had earlier migrated to Canada. Living, impediment of long very cold winter, 1970's Canada was still racist and Parliament had strong bill waiting to stop colored immigrants and keep country white...Then in 1975 the Bill was voted down. For the reason that old white generation was aging and demanding Pension and Health Care. Welfare Chest was showing bottom and had to be replenished by tax money. Young tax payers were needed. India, China and Black Carribian were overflowing with young workers...so they had swollow Colored immigrants. Country was the largest but most commercia cities are at border of America, because north is brutal cold. Canada could not build population. 30m (10% of USA.) And Economically behind CA$= 0.80USD. Let the Visa expire...and went back to my old country to Start my Consultancy office. Lived in upper middle class tier and retiring with comfortable cushion to survive . Saw the whole world during past decades of active life... Including Canada US China . Don't regret living among brown people where my roots are. No body looks at me as colored foreigner. This is my personal history..Others have other priorities in life.

I am an Indian ??, Canadian PR , Data scientist , I think we immigrants for sure should respect the Canadian culture and adapt to it. It’s us who have come in Canada , we need to adapt and respect Canadian culture, Or live in our home country . I agree with this.

I wonder what the aboriginals thought when their cities were being overrun by Europeans. Most of those you call Canadians are essentially Europeans including yourself. Immigrants are not the problem of Canada. The country needs to expand and develop. You can't have the size of America with the economy of California. Life in Canada should be a lot less cheaper with a lot less taxes and a lot more construction.

That is exactly what Trudeau wants, replace Canadians with those that feel beholden to Trudeau and will vote for him. So sad that city is in that state. Anyone who comes to Canada to live here needs to adapt to Canadian values, morals and way of life. If they do not want to they can go back to the country they came from. We do not want our culture over written by another.

I’m a little late to this video but have a lot to say. As a Canadian of Indian descent, I have always avoided Brampton. There is a stark difference between Indians from Brampton and those of us that are from other cities. This situation is out of control mainly due to JT but also colleges that have setup feeder international schools that cater just to Indian students. I’d imagine Chinese students have something similar to this as well, they’re just more quiet. \n\nA lot of the comments come off as offensive but it is what it is, There are too many of my ethnic people here and they’re not assimilating let alone intending to do so. Chain migration is another problem as it brings in an older generation that has no desire to learn English. Crime is having a runaway effect because of the environment they come from, fights break out at intersections, parking lots, backyards, front yards, etc. This is reckless and embarrassing for all Indians, especially us Punjabis. This goes unreported because of how vindictive these people are because of whichever town/city they came from. There are also rumours that these female students are home wreckers so there’s another layer. \n\nMy solution: \n1) Stop immigration, these people are giving our entire community a bad rep when we’ve worked so hard to get to where we are in this country. Return to skills based immigration, not WEF-based. \n2) Cap the international student populations tied to the census - this opens up opportunities for international students from ALL countries and walks of life. \n3) International students cannot be allowed to work - Canadian students First, Canada First. \n4) After graduation, give students 1 year to find a job in their field of study. If they can’t find one, send them back and learn skills and then that’s their only back to Canada. \n5) if they do make it to immigration, we need a better system than just a simple memorization test - have them demonstrate their command of the English language, look at their value added and potential for the future. \n6) Conservatives need to be a part of the solution. A lot of the comments are just complaints and complaining will get these folks voting red vs voting blue each and every time. That guy commenting about no temples in Timmins will just push these people to the liberals and this is what JT is counting on. We need to show these folks what being Canadian is about so that they leave Brampton and assimilate. I’ve introduced countless folks to Pierre and have changed their outlooks, y’all need to do the same. Show them that they’re being used by the liberals and that’ll get them going, cause no one wants to be used. \n\nAs always, TNC reports it as it is and that’s what I’m here for. Thank you!

I'm an Indian immigrant and lived in ON. I drove through Brampton once and I vowed to never go back there again. But you see this is a vicious consequence of declining birth rates in Canada. Christianity is trampled upon along with its values and principles and this is one of the results. The first thing I asked the day I landed was where were all the Canadians? Have they left the planet? \n\nA country needs people and once a certain ethnic population grows in strength and in numbers the landscape is sure to change. Besides, Canada does not demand immigrants assimilate into the culture, instead it's vice versa and it's disappointing. And when you give up Christianity, what do you expect immigrants to embrace? DEI? That's the last thing they will and continue to push their religions. \n\nBesides, what is Hindu and Pakistani? One is a religion and the other is a nationality. You may want to review that data cos something is off if it's categorized in such a manner.

Canada has really gone down hill. It's a mess and Canadians vote for left wing governments hoping to solve the problems, not realizing they only make them worse. Canadians need to learn that they cannot borrow themselves into prosperity nor print money and wealth out of thin air.

Being an immigrant myself I have to say that what one might see happening in Brampton happens to another cities as the result of sexual revolution, abortion and the destruction of the family that came to be in Canada since the 70s. I’m a Canadian citizen and married to a Canadian born citizen and we have talked about this many times. In order to recover this country families need to have more autonomy on raising children but also parents have to be more involved. It’s true there’s a lot of Indians everywhere and guess what they tend to keep their values. Here in Canada as per my understanding people used to pray the Our Father in public schools and children used to get bibles, families used to go to church and now? \nThere needs to be a very big swift in policies and others but the biggest swift needs to come from families within.

Trudeau needs to PAY BACK CANADIANS. For all our money he gave away! And I'm also sure nobody will press charges on him. For I believe he allowed China to do something in canada. I would like to no what that was. Or he should be charged for invasion

You're free to judge but I have not seen any Indian/ Asian/ Latino immigrant homeless. Indians bring high skill in IT, banking and medicine which Canada desperately needs. Latino/ European ethnic immigrants also work very hard (construction/ farms etc.) and support their families and children. These basic skills keeps Canada running. Immigrant children are the highest number of graduate degree holders. Students line up in hundreds because they are willing to work and make a mark. They stand in freezing weather for hours just to try their luck. That's dedication. The only homeless I have seen are Canadians/ Native Americans even when the govt. pays millions in welfare and development programs to get their life back on track. Also, all these immigrants pay thousands of dollars to come to Canada (Visa fees, plane tickets, moving expenses) so that they can pay taxes to Canadians. Why are you crying all the time just they are not into cold pasta?

I am American born. Came to Canada in 1981 after marrying a Cdn girl. Also, I became a Canadian in 1989, holding on to two citizenships. Fast forward 20 years, and divorce finally showed up. I moved back Stateside when my brother had his 2nd heart attack, to help him with every day things. I was there 10 years before finally moving back to Canada. I knew I would always move back to Canada anyway. Life is just less stressful here. Less to worry about. No fighting for retirement like so many do in the USA for their Social Security for example. No fighting for disability if you need that here. Concerns like that are well looked after in Canada, helping to make sure everyone can live a reasonable standard and quality of life without a battle to do so. The social structure is safer as well. No big gun issues. In the States, I had a reaction to ALEVE which forced me into hospital. 7 hours in, and 5,000 later, I was released. 700 for the EMT ride as well. 1/2 mile ride. In 2017, I had a mild heart attack in Canada. 7 days in. MRI's and every other test you can imagine was done. My total bill was 49 .00. That was for parking, as I drove myself the few blocks to the hospital. It was the only time I had to be in hospital in the 30 years i've been in Canada and I was thankful that we all pitch in to take care of each other with out healthcare. The USA is fine for some but it's no Canada :)

what is the problem with canada? everyone here is too obsessed with the 'canadians are nice' narrative, and refuses to denounce any of their government's policy, like mass immigration, carbon tax, lgbtq education and more. thus, i dont see anytime soon that canada will vote this trudeau WOKE government out, and they are buying in votes from 3rd world migrants while canada born canadians are running away.\ni had to get this message to fellow canadians, vote PPC and Max for a balanced political spectrum, canada is way too left leaning, we need a stronger right wing. or canada WILL be a dystopia, unless canadians wake up about that it is THEIR home and they still have the FREEDOM and DEMOCRACY to make a change before it is too late

I would like to provide a background to all the native Canadians who are wondering why the East Indian population is growing in Canada they are lot of education consultants back in India who market Canada as a lucrative country to immigrate brownie points for studying to get PR free healthcare free education till grade 12 so everyone is trying their best to come to Canada on a student visa.Once students come on a student visa they need to work 20 hours a week which they are legally allowed to work on international student visa so locals feel they are taking their jobs In US international students are only allowed to work on campus despite so many job opportunities.Colleges in Canada charge 4-5 times tuition which is profitable to the education industry and provincial government.Once these students Graduate they get open work permit where they can gain Canadian work experience and apply for PR and citizenship eventually.All this benefits the government and the educational institutions overall in terms of taxes and revenue..

GTA has alway had areas where immigrant cultures congregate. Little India, Greek Town, Little Italy, China Town, Korea town, little Portugal. Canada needs new tax payers to replace the ageing Baby Boomer population. Who is going to pay into the CPP, OAS and taxes with a decline “Canadian population.”

It's not just Brampton phone a government agency most people who answer the phone are from India or that area and can't even speak English stop immigration from India and the middle East and start immigrating from Europe only before Canada is no longer at all white or Caucasian Alberta is the same there's Edmonton who is mostly controlled by Pakistani in India British Columbia's being bought by the Chinese it's ridiculous there is no real Canadians left except the people who work everyday just to feed their families in construction farming and the oilfield we need to away the country handles immigrants there's no integration I think it's a shame when you go walking around any city in the country and most of the people are talking some foreign language and not English

This is the price to be paid. Canada needs desperately imigration, otherwise it will disappear as a nation in 2 or 3 generations.\nBirth rates is too low. Nobody wants kids because life in freezing countries is too expensive due winter gears, hitting, cars, insulation in every building, store or house, gas, salt on streets,  shovelling, mandatory insurance for everything, health care is a joke, and so on. It is endeless. \nCanada is definitely an uninhabitable place. 92% of canadians live very close the US border due the miserable freezing endeless drepressing 9 months cold weather. Nobody wants go north. Freezing weather makes life unbearable and extremely expensive. If we had a free US-Canada border, Canada would  be empty..\n\n.

Unlike most of the comments here, I absolutely love being a Canadian. I have a rare health condition and the government covers 100% of my medicine costs which is thousands of dollars a month. It’s also safe here and there’s so much opportunity. I immigrated when I was 4 years old from Pakistan and even when I go back to visit, Canada is like heaven on earth compared to Pakistan. The medicine I need to live a healthy is isn’t even made or offered in Pakistan. I’ll forever be a proud Canadian. Thank you Canada ❤

Well, as an immigrant, I am sorry for the Canadians who were born here. The thing is though, until our government can find a way to solve the birth rate problem or labor shortage, mass immigration likely will continue. \n\nMy work contains data analysis of our job market and here is what we found: even with this level of immigration, our labor supply right now in Canada is still slightly below replacement level. In less than a decade, the majority of people in the workforce will retire. This creates two problems: 1) more retirees mean more pension needed from the government; 2) government needs tax money to pay for pensions, but the workforce is shrinking so there will be less tax payers. I don’t see a good solution to this unless some super AI saves the day. Of several bad solutions (gambling is more like it), immigration has a chance of turning things around. But either way, the next generation of workers will be the most overworked and heavily taxed in decades.

Multi-culturalism is a failed concept. That being said, Canada needs skilled immigration. The biggest flaw in Canadian immigration is extended family based immigration and uncapped asylum immigration. The bar for skilled immigration should be really high. Labor immigration should always be temporary and rotational. You bring in labor, train them, make them work, find the best amongst them, promote them, integrate them and let go of the non-performing ones.

Listen as a minority person who is proud of my heritage but grew up here with immigrant parents who were given refuge in Canada, I can understand immigration. But...its getting out of hand, most of them are from India, most of them have homes in India and often return there for long vacations, These are not refugees or a diverse spread of peoples coming here. I am not hateful in any way but sometimes you have to tell it like it is, A lot of these people are not adapting to the culture here, why? Because most of them are grown already and are used to their own customs, with an ever increasing population now living here they don't really feel the need to learn or adapt because there are less regular Canadians. When I was in school it was already pretty multi-cultural and diverse although yes in my area there are less asians and black people, we had a lot of European(Serbian/Romanian) in particular. Now I go to the store and it's like 80% brown/Indian people lol, even my neighbors, most have moved out and more indian families are moving in. My city is expanding into like a mini Toronto when we can't even handle it, people cant even find jobs, people need all this other stuff, Its just too many all at once, crime rates have gone up over the last few years, this doesn't help anyone, immigrants either.

I'm Australian and a few months back had a debate with a Canadian on reddit who visited Australia and remarked how shocked he was at how ethnically segregated Australia is and was preaching about how in Canada everyone mixes and that Australia should learn from Canada how to integrate immigrants. Well as someone who did a working holiday in Canada he was spouting bs, you have cities like Surrey, Richmond, Burnaby, Brampton and Markham that have become mini India and Chinas in Canada. Australia might have neighbourhoods that are segregated but we sure as hell don't have cities with 300k+ people that cater to one ethnicity. I love Canadians don't get me wrong but a lot of you really need to stop with this holier than thou attitude thinking your poo don't stink.

We have the same problem. I actually like the people, but….somehow, immigrants have managed to have been able to acquire the vast majority of retail jobs in our area. How is that possible? There are businesses and fast food chains with not one white person working as an employee. I spoke to a former worker that was at one of these businesses for years and asker her WTF happened? She told me that the company hired a new manager from India, within 6 months, half the staff were Indian, local students were not being hired for part time jobs, only Indians, by the end of the year, every single employee was Indian. \nShe along with other quit their jobs because….not because they’re racist, but because not only were they being treated differently than the now majority brown workers, but they were being made to feel excluded because…the manager and the new staff all spoke a different language, they would all work together in a group not speaking English at all, saying things and laughing making it pretty obvious that they were making fun of the white employees. The “manager” would ignore the white staff’s complaints and he would then seemingly punish them by giving them less hours, change their duties and give “the good shifts” to the new brown people to the point where the white people were made to feel alienated as well as cutting back their hours leaving them with not enough hours to make a living. “This is Canada Mother Fecker” these people need to speak our language when they’re in public or at the workplace with “Canadians” or…employers should fire them. I will note, that the A&W that this happened at, has changed not only by every single employee being brown, but the service is not near as friendly, they all speak to each other in a different language behind the counter.. the seating area is not even close to being clean, the tables usually are left with trays and garbage that aren’t being cleaned as customer leave. It so bad sometimes that I literally have to pick a dirty table and remove the garbage myself because every available table has not been cleaned….and the bathrooms …. I don’t even want to talk about it they’re so disgusting. And when you complain….they turn to other employees and speak a different language… so we have no idea about WTF they are actually doing or saying about the issue. “ Thank you Sir, we will take care of that.” And the next day…it was the same. I’ve stopped going there along with everyone that I know…our work crew along with our families can no longer support such a dirty, rude and disrespectful business.

There are foreigners in india that live there (thats okay) - Theres 550 “Canadian” companies operating in India ?? (thats okay), many many Canadians amongst other foreigners go to India to seek medical therapiea for 1/10th of the cost (thats okay), the British invaded india, looted her for 300+ years, killed their men, raped their women, sold them as slaves (thats okay), your channel is spreading hatred and giving rise to bigotry and hatred mister. I travelled to 35 countries- Canadians are everywhere too, lying naked on the beached of mexico ?? Philippines ?? and India ?? and thats okay, indian students bringing in 8 billion dollars a year (thats okay). Basically everything is okay - except not wanting to live with brown skinned people. Lets us not forget, this land belongs to Immigrants- Includes your great great grandparents who came here, killed the innocent natives, snatched away their lands, separated mothers from babies, some empathy is all it takes. We need to close the borders immediately and start giving serious tax breaks to old-stock Canadians in order to encourage them to have more children. This should have been done 50 years ago already. By old stock, I mean people who's families have been here since the 1910s. Then we'd keep Canada Canadian! That's not bigotted, that's patriotic! ??

Time to close the country's doors to immigration! Lets shut it down for 5 years! Lets just transition the folk's who have flooded canada in the past 5 year's. We need time for new folks to become Canadian.

I'm all for ethnically diverse neighborhoods but there is a point where they become big enough, made up entirely of one ethnicity, no incentive to integrate or adopt the customs or even laws of the host country that it eventually becomes a foreign nation state occupying a part of Canada. Even more troublesome when the narrative is that Canada is a postnational state and that everything that came before is all bad and needs to be torn down and/or forgotten. What has attracted immigrants to Canada over time is Canadian values, all that has been built and defended in Canada. Now older generations of immigrants are complaining that Canada is turning into an oppressive, crime ridden state like the countries they fled from. That the Canadian values they cherish are being subverted.

Were transitioning from OH CANADA to NO CANADA. We know how its happening. How can we stop it. Is it to late? Not just Brampton. Calgary, Edmonton and other cities with Indian mayors. Justin Trudeau and Sean Fraser letting in a million Indians to study at strip mall colleges is what caused our housing crisis. i thought we got rid of places like Devry and ITT Tech a long time ago, why are we being flooded with phony diploma mills now all of a sudden? importing millionaires from India and China has out-competed middle class Canadians for housing, you need overseas money or you have to be part of organised crime to own a home in southern ontario now. document fraud seems to be rife in the Indian community, but nobody ever seems to get deported, why is that? i don't think India or China would tolerate a bunch of newcomers breaking the rules in their country, why are we allowing it in Canada? Canada isn't building enough houses for all the people its letting in, our infrastructure is in desperate need of upgrades. we have no rapid transit outside of Toronto. The Liberals are just fleecing new immigrants and international students because they've tapped out the Canadian middle class. Canada needs to limit newcomers to 250,000 a year and put an end to the international student scam. Trudeau's WEF approved immigration policies absorb like olestra and the cost of living is killing Canadians and destroying the dreams of locals and newcomers alike. people have been misled about the type of life they are going to get in Canada and that is sad. the government is lying that everything is fine. cost of living and crime are out of control and the Liberals are the biggest thieves of them all.

If you go to another country, you need to dress like them, talk and act like them. If those outsiders come to Canada, they are allowed to do whatever they want including implementing their culture and not embracing the Canadian way. Globalism and socialism don't belong in Canada.

Canada doesn't need any larger population, contrary to Trudeau's/WEF plan to destroy the country by importing too many immigrants. \nOnce it's meaningless to be a Canadian because everyone is different from everyone else and they don't have shared values, then anyone can come in from anywhere and there will be no customs to check them. Canadian citizenship will be discontinued, and if we are still voting then, anyone in the world will be able to vote as a citizen of the world. If Globalists succeed in keeping everyone from traveling anywhere, we'll be stuck in this mess, eating crickets and being vaccinated by force. The other choice will be to take advantage of Canada's MAID service.

There isn't anything wrong with those who immigrate to Canada and adapt to Canadian Customs and Traditions, But when they start complaining about our Customs and Traditions, and want us to change them, then I have a BIG problem with it !!!! Dual Citizenship needs to be outlawed !! You want to be a Canadian, then be 100% Canadian !! If that is too much to ask of someone, then Don't come here, stay home !! Don't come here and take a job away from a Canadian, while keeping your other Citizenship so you can go back when you feel that you're ready too, that's Total BS and Unacceptable !! Become a Canadian and Die here of old age !! If you have dual Citizenship, you migrated here not immigrated !! Canada, Love it, accept the Customs and Traditions, or Go and stay Home !!!! I come at this with two logics and facts\nOne: Who were the first people of Canada ..First Nations ...so White Canada is getting a taste of what their ancestors brought in the past\nTwo: The demographics concern...A Caucasian family barely make the baby ration which is 0.8...and you need 2.2 and above for a population to grow\nIndians have a 2.5 on average.\nSo Caucasian Canada...you might hate it but blame yourself...Oh women power, giving birth at 40 and Freedom....that all good for you but it came with a cost\nand if not rectified.....you will pay the price in the future...and i am talking who is going to pay your social security and pensions \nIn the 70s we had 7 Canadians affording every pensioneer...in 2024 we are up to 4 . \nIf you don't love to like Charlie Chapati......Apu ...then you will have no one to pay for your pension in the future

A giant false idol on Canada soil, no different than planting a flag of a conquering army. Is this to let Canadians know this land has been taken, or is this directed towards all the other groups from the 3rd world moving into that area, that India has claimed that land for themselves? It does seem like it's only poor white people that live surrounded by a foreign culture, that's been built within our own Canadian borders. This is why people move away. This does need to be stopped. It's happening in every city all across Canada. Canadians are being pushed out of our own cities.

I am an American citizen of Indian descent. But I always loved and appreciated Canada. I love hockey since I was 7, huge NHL fan, lover of Tim Hortons and Canadian poutine. But I don't want anything non-Canadian to replace Canada! The Canadians need more aggression when it comes to defending the red-white bars and maple leaf!

Is there a smart they won’t come to Canada because even right now Canadians are on the street. It’s just not a good time. Canadians are good people it’s not their fault. It’s not the screw goes right back to Trudeau. All the cared about was making money and that is it charging immigrants so much you know what I mean and getting money from the government but it’s not going I believe to the migrants it’s not even going to the Canadian citizens. Mr. Trudo does not care. He only cares about himself and how to make a quick buck in the hell with anybody else. They should’ve been clear when you made a commercial and made it look beautiful on how you can kill yourself if you’re suffering depression. There was a young girl in her 20s, that’s a kid and because she had depression and why did she have depression? She was homeless and she had diabetes. She had no money to buy the diabetes medication so she killed her self with the assistant help of Canada. They were murdering people and then inviting immigrants in, how does that make sense?. And then no one‘s offering the immigrants jobs because there is no jobs but that’s not again the Canadians fault they can’t afford to put food on their own table. Justin Trudeau knew that unrestrained immigration would destabilize our economy but that is exactly what he wanted. His intention since he was elected in 2015 was to make Canada a dictatorship with him as the dictator. There's definitely a money threshold in Canada you NEED to make to .... have fun and live well. If you're a lifetime renter, or entry level worker.... it doesn't make sense. My family is established from previous happy decades. But even for us there is stagnation and living on savings (many family members moved back to EU, and I'm thinking of it as I'm fluent in many languages there). Imagine people starting new RIGHT NOW.... makes me sad that most Canadians will never had a backyard. Godspeed everyone.

So if Trudeau wants million people a year in all categories of immigrants it must be economics 101 for him and his Ministers to consult Provinces in their areas of services what are the impacts and what do they need /when/$'s funding to welcome new people to Canada in a proper manner ( not make victims of them) and not make victims of current Canadians either. This country is a joke. As a Canadian living abroad. Other countries take care of their own long before a foreigner. Canada needs to have more pride with the people who built this country which is Canadians who have paid their dues and their parents. If you're a refugee we shouldn't deny you a plate of food but if my neighbor doesn't have it I'll serve him long before you, these are my people - the ones who has supported me in periods of unemployment, childhood - you can pay your dues too or don't come here. Look to your neighboring countries who share the same creed and where you can integrate better as you come here for our services.
