A somewhat depressing video, because it's an actually accurate portrait of the city, as it is. These cities also were viewed as examples to follow by other Canadian population centres. So the same issues keep reoccurring, because in abstract theory they could work. Many immigrants find the first few years difficult because of the job ethics. The job ethics here in Canada is quite different from Nigerian with a laidback background. I have also seen people who have been clouded with that high life they lived back home and find it difficult to Start at the bottom. Even if you are living a good life in Nigeria, Canada is a better place to live if you can unlearn some things and relearn other things.\nAnd is there systemic racism? The answer is YES. This may be accurate from presentation part, but see the actual reality, if canada is that much attractive for skilled immigrants, it should be world leader in technology or manufacturing but it is not as life is very harsh here. Most of these responses seemed to be from left-leaning people in Canada. British Columbia is NDP, socialist leaning, in other words. I'm from Alberta. We recently had an election here and made it abundantly clear we do not want the NDP running our province. We have a gun culture here and won't give up our arms. I didn't read one mention of the PM in Canada. Yet, walk around and all you hear about is the hatred people have of him and the division he has caused. The leader of the NDP sides with him. I actually have dual citizenship, so harbor no bad feelings to the US. I just don't go where there are a lot of left-leaning Dems/Liberals. Alberta to Texas is almost like not leaving Alberta, just going to the ranch down the way and visiting family.

As a Canadian here are my views on the problems here:\n1.Government waste/spending\n2. Insane taxes, we literally pay taxes on our tax here. When you add it all up the lower tax brackets after their 15% gst pay about 45% of their income in taxes alone. Provinces like Nova Scotia are disgusting when it comes to the tax they pay. \n3. Easy immigration, we should consider immigrants based on what they can do for Canada, we don't need hundreds of thousands who can't work or refuse to work. It's a strain on the system. The immigration also artificially increases housing costs.\n4.Government corruption, it's part of why the taxes are so high. It's also part of the recent hyperinflation Canada has suffered. Just look up Trudeaus WE charity Scandall or SNC Lavalin Scandal, some even say Trudeau was getting kickbacks from the vaccine which I have yet to see evidence of but I personally believe it. \n5. Politically illiterate voters and propaganda, here in Canada the government likes to keep it's people uninformed and how they do it is through propaganda. The Liberals have every major news source in Canada in their pocket and in order for you to get news that isn't influenced by them you have to specifically search for them by name, those include Rebel News, TFI Global, and True North. Almost everything else is incredibly biased, they selectively report the news and in many cases outright lie. This causes extreme political illiteracy in it's population.\n6. Housing rules, here in Canada there are some really stupid bylaws like the main floor of your primary dwelling must be 900sqft in some areas, plus building codes prevent cheap construction of homes. You could have a tiny home on piers and it wouldn't cost much but because of our laws and codes it's impossible. You need a proper foundation, footings, building permits, ad in order to get a permit you need to submit blueprints, etc. You can't just buy a prefab building set it on piers and live in it. That'd be too easy, that'd make housing affordable and the government wouldn't like that. \n7. Woke indoctrination centers, The public education system here is all about putting in regular kids and pumping out future Liberal voters. It's a mess.\n8. You can't defend yourself, In Canada you aren't allowed to carry a weapon for self defense. If a criminal breaks into your home you are supposed to do everything you can to escape rather than defend your property. Criminals have more protection under the law than the law abiding citizens. \n9. Low wages, because of immigration wages are low compared to the USA for most jobs in most locations\n10. Thigs cost more in Canada than the USA after taking into consideration currency conversion rates, even things manufactured in Canada\n11. The cold. Nobody likes the cold for the 4-6 months of the year that the higher populated areas of the country have it. The more densely populated areas also tend to be the warmest. \n12. Fascist leaders. It's no secret Justin Trudeau and the Liberals are fascists\n13. Governmental links to the WEF, you'll own nothing and you'll be happy or so their add said. The truth is Canadians can afford less and less under Liberal leadership which is no surprise since Justin Trudeau and Chrystia are supporters of the WEF.

We have a leader who seems to be deeply invested in shutting down our oil and gas industry. He shut down oil and gas. Which put hundreds of people out of work. Then he slapped us with a carbon tax. He told us the carbon tax dollars would be invested toward producing green energy projects and manufacturing jobs. So far, the Carbon tax went up again, he banned plastic straws, he’s hitting our farmers with heavy restrictions on fertilizer, because it’s not green enough. \nMany of our indigenous communities have been living for years with contaminated water. He promised he was going to ensure the indigenous communities have access to clean drinking water. He has not fulfilled that promise. \nHe’s bidding $30 billion dollars to hopefully sign a deal to manufacture electric car batteries for Volkswagen. \nHe’s investing in other projects, as well. Unfortunately, he’s only investing in eastern provinces. \nSo far, there has been no investments in western provinces yet. Many of the out of work oil and gas workers in Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba are still waiting on the jobs they were promised. \nLow wages, high inflation, high taxes and high income housing is bringing a lot of us to our knees. \nOur leader is corrupt. It seems like every week there is another corrupt scandal he and his government are involved in. \nI can’t speak for every Canadian, but I can say with absolute certainty that a large number of us are sick and tired of our current leader. Most of us live with the hope that if our leader can get voted out. Canada may have a chance to go back to the way our beautiful country used to be.

Canada's healthcare is not all that. Atleast in Ontario. There is no dental coverage, no eye coverage. But its good for people who old or have critical illnesses since its all covered. \nCanada also has a very weak job market than the U.S. There is almost no opportunity for highly skilled labor. The U.S is a world leader in technology and industry and has more rewarding opportunities for talented people. As a Canadian who has lived in the U.S. I must agree Americans are more willing to be friends with strangers. I also think the U.S is far more culturally diverse but better assimilated. The U.S is a better place if you are talented and hardworking. Canada is a better place if you are a min wager.

F CANADA, im in BC canada on disability for life due to immune system problems. past 10 years ive tride getting healthy and started feeling good, i found a good job last summer, making 29$ hr full time! i was very excited and ready to move on in life from the system, 3 months into it, i start doing the math... im losing 22% off each check for taxes twice per month + union dues, + they charging me for cleaning service for my uniform 5$ per check THEN i pay 12% tax on all good i buy.. SO im losing almost 40% of my monthly income after fees and taxes... NOW im working so i need a car to be at work on taime daily.... this is another 15-20% monthly expense.. YEAHHH RIGHT i am not working myself to the bone to work just to be as POOR as i was on Disability. i quit the job as soon as i paid off the car, sold the car now im my own boss again , i have no need for a clock, i sleep until i want, eat when i want, and go where i want 7 days a week. You have to be a total FOOL to work in this country with these amount of fees and taxes, and please dont say taxes are high becuase of the 2% on welfare, take a look at the BILLIONS of dollars your foolish leader Trudeau is giving to Ukriane.
