Canada is only a 1 or two years ahead of Australia in terms of decline of living standards due to mass migration. Indian migration has destroyed that country. It is very interesting to observe how demographics have changed over the decades.When I first arrived in Canada in 1972 (51 years ago), the Indians were almost invisible, it would be an extraordinary sight to see one. Now, they are all over the place and there is no housing by the way. But yes, it's the student visas that have saturated the system and now the inept government is scrambling to find solutions to the housing problem that has ballooned. I have seen many indian officials in india and almost all of them are not quick to anger. Even if they are bad mouthed or accosted . Canada is not diverse anymore. When you go to GTA you will only see Indians and Blacks more. Australia accepts immigrants which they need. Australia don't care even if you study in Australian university but if you are not in their required profession list then you won't get PR. But in Canada you just need university degree and you can apply for immigration and you will get. Thousands of people who were rejected in Australia ended in Canada. And now international students mostly Punjabis coming for rural areas and end up becoming truck driver. Trucking industry is so saturated because of Punjabis. We don't need labour class because we have people for that. What we need is skilled people and educated which is short here.

I think racism is on the rise in Canada, because communites are seeing masses of Indians overtaking their community and erasing canadian culture and replacing it with their own. India is a third world country, I don't think nice canadian communities are receptive to tens of thousands, if not hundreds of thousands of Indians then coming into that community and speaking their own language, playing their own music, following their own relegion, celebrating their own holidays, dressing like they do back home, playing cricket and soccer etc... and that becoming common place rather than tradidional canadian culture. They want canada to stay Canadian and I'm all for that. Not to mention the housing crisis.

Here in my city Langley, almost all services are filled with Indians. You go to a bank, 99% are Indians, you go to supermarkets, 99% of the CS are Indians, you go to a gas station 99% of CS are Indians, where ever you go, you see Indians. Indians are everywhere in every sector. Most jobs here are taken by Indians. Looks like haft of India is here. I don't think there's no shortage of jobs for Indians here.

Wrong information. Students and new immigrants including work permits just pay 1000 dollars for 1 bedroom basement apartment in Toronto. Many Indian home owners give them rents at much lower price than the market rate which goes up to 1400 dollars a month but since they are Indians and new to Canada they give them for 1000 dollars a month. If students 3 people live in that, if families 2 people. Indian home owners do that for food cooking smells and other reasons. I see some new immigrants both working couple make up to 90k per year but still live in basement apartments for more than 3 years to save money. Indians are money saving people, do not want to spend money.

Numbers reported are true and its going to increase in 2024. I live in the capital and I see dozens of distress home sales due to increased mortgages. People face high taxation, heavily overburdened healthcare system, unaffordable rentals, loss of jobs, grocery prices over the roof, rapidly increasing crime rate and robberies, uncertainty about the good days again. Canada used to be a good place to settle, but now there are dozens of other countries that are welcoming with an affordable peaceful life. For Indians, there is absolutely no reason to hunt for a job or better life here as it involves start from the scratch for everything. India is rushing to become the fastest growing economy in the world with millions of opportunities and a solid political leadership, a history in the making.

India brings a complete opposite religion, language and ideology to foreign countries. It’s the Indian the does not participate in community activities, and integrate into a true Canadian national identity. If rent in downtown Vancouver on the 25th floor is to expensive, maybe try moving to more rural communities in Canada, where costs are different in living. If you come from a poor punjab province in India whereas you’ve sold the farm to come , then don’t expect a downtown Toronto sky rise , 1500 square foot 17th floor underground heated parking, to be the dream destination of your vision. It’s comparable to moving from the punjab to downtown Delhi and expecting the same cost comparisons to the punjab. Unfortunately it’s not sad to see the Indian people go. Lived in same Canadian province my whole life, here’s a solution to immigrants complaining go home to your country. Canada has been ruined by immigration but to be more specific Indians, they are everywhere, in PEI every single service industry job has been taken over by them and so a stigma is created working in fast food, gas stations, ect. No other race works there but Indians, it’s easy to spot an Indian on the road too, if not a massive dumb Punjabi sticker on their door just look at the license plate, you will see their surname every time. It’s a joke. It’s worse when you go to the gym and are surrounded by 80% Indians as some smell Soooo bad. So please, just go home. Trust me nobody wanted you to come, it was a political thing and you are the one race that filed in like rats. Canada should definitely see what kind of an image they have made of themselves. They have shown themselves to look like an illiterate government. Re Indian students as a former teacher I have to also say that many Indian students coning here are lacking the basics. I also found that students educated in US states like Florida and Texas were around two grades behind. Many Indian studenrs here have high expectations but poor background and inadequate English language skills. It is a shame that people are getting into Canada with false documentation and credentials. Also they are enrolling in very dubious schools and it is no surprise that they find life here very difficult. Hopefully the Canadian government will take greater care to see that only suitable candidates are allowed to come to Canada as students. Also students from other countries should avoid coming here if they don't really have sufficient skills and should make sure that they are choosing reputable educational institutions. There are lots of private institutions with fancy names. Don't be fooled.

Its no different to education agents and Australia imo, probably worse here - the number of Indians I see in Sydney with advanced degrees doing menial jobs like uber driver, cleaning or in supermarkets is STAGGERING, i always wonder who lied to them to come to Australia?

Every single working staff including receptionist in my condo was fired and replaced by Indians in past year or so. Its sad to see that the government just doesn't care about well being of its own citizens.

In Canada Provincial Government is so corrupt. Some of the councelors or their family own these schools. They purposfully in take student who are not even qualified. Canada has become so corrupt. It's also known Canada has become a haven for money laundering and all kinds of schemes like that. These colleges have turned into diploma mills. Their diplomas have no real value anymore. They are churned out solely because of money and it's flooding the market as well. \nHow is this allowed? \nCan you imagine how many Canadian Citizens are DYING because they have to fight against millions of new International students and new coming immigrants each year for a hospital spot.\nWait times at ER as exploded. Tons of new cases where Canadians died waiting for emergency help. They are starting to get stigmatized because all Canadians see is insane amount of Indians that barely speak English (that would be the immigrants not the students) and with a housing crisis and it affects Canadians.
