If not for foreigners, then these programs will shut down. And then they poach these foreign students to work in their tech sector. Without Indians & other foreigners their tech economy will collapse. They know this. And they will also pretend that immigrants are the problem and $h1t on us. fkers. Fellow Indians, know that they are scamming you. Better to go for higher education within India. Get funding and do a startup in India. All these countries like US, Canada will crush your dreams. Go there only if you are mediocre. If you are talented, stay in India and work for a startup

But you have to understand again in your Canada water video. Canada has a lot less population. That being taxes are higher in Canada but more land for your dollar. Less GDP do to a smaller number of people which also becomes a factor of Canada not making the 2% GDP to NATO. There's alot of factors on why Canada does what it does. I'm just speculating, but obviously Trump's stated reasons for the tariffs against Canada don't reflect his real strategy. He wants to exert maximum pain and pressure on the current liberal government in Canada so that its more likely a conservative like Poilievre will get elected. Then, he'll end the tariffs handing him a victory and thus solidifying a conservative influence. Maybe. In any case, he wants more influence over Canada and its unnerving to watch.

Canada needs to get all new trading partners, they need to look to Europe, Asia, and other countries. There are other markets out there, especially in the EU, where they are no longer getting energy from Russia. If Canada shows any weakness Trump will hit Canada even harder, the only why Canada stays strong and comes out ahead, is to be strong. Canada will suffer for a while, but with new trade partners, Canada will be much better off.
